A few weeks ago I mentioned that I am noticing we are seeing tattoos on many of the characters that we never used to see. It seems like each week we are seeing a different character with a tattoo. I first saw Lily with henna on her hands, a tattoo on the back of Sally’s neck, Devon with tattoos on his arm. I believe I saw one on Mariah and Daniel with arm tattoos. The newest one that stood out for me this week was Billy’s arm tattoo of a Canada goose. I think it is very nice and honorable… Read more »

As soon as I saw the paper bag puppet I immediately felt like the show is listening to our comments. I recently made a comment about the picture that Harrison supposedly drew and how it looked like it was drawn by an adult. The paper bag puppet that Claire said Harrison made was definitely a big change from what we have seen the kids on the show making as the arts go. The paper bag puppet gets a pass on looking like an age appropriate craft that a child Harrison’s age would make. The button eyes not being placed evenly… Read more »

Trying to catch up and just finish with Wednesday’s episode, billy it’s such a jerk and lily need to take billy to court , I know victor want to take over the company but still , I am on team lily all the way and she should fight and take billy to court to get the company after he just fired her and without reason he fired her. It’s also time for Kyle to get it together, he should be on good terms with his parents and stay at the abbot’s house and I am glad now things with him… Read more »
From the previews by seeing Sharon crying it appears something happened to Faith relating to Lucy. I thought maybe Lucy was going to be vulnerable to an online predator “friend”or teen depression/suicide storyline, but it seems the Cassie connection is where they are going. Sharon will blame herself for telling Faith to ditch Lucy leading to Faith being hurt. It all somehow will tie into Cameron’s hints about Sharon solving her self inflicted guilt around Cassie’s death.
I think Lucy gets drunk and Faith probably tries to help her, the preview looks very much like a Cassie redux. Somehow this will tie in with Sharon’s recent struggle with Cassie and Cameron ghosts

I agree with other Chatters and Ali that Cameron’s ghost is a great addition. I appreciate that he tried to “clean-up” a little today. Cameron’s conversations with Sharon are so enlightening. I’m on the edge of my seat, waiting to hear what he has to say next.
The actor playing Cameron IS pretty great, and I can go certainly go w/Sharon’s apparitions. But the whole premise of Psychologist Extraordinaire (or whatever she is) Sharon ‘counseling herself’ this way is pretty funny. She’s good, but… doing her own therapy, lol? Hey, why not?… cheaper sessions, I guess…

Adam had NO REASON to LIE to Sally. Could he not tell that with every fiber in her being, that she would have forgiven him. Stupidity reins with Adam. He didn’t learn a damn thing from the first break up. I see now, that he wears his father’s name well. Let’s not forget that he was actually named after Victor.
This quote by Sir Walter Scott came to mine when I saw Adam lying to Sally today. “Oh what a tangled web we weave when we practice to deceive.” It was reckless and foolish. Adam will have to kiss his relationship with Sally goodbye. Because of her troubled past, it would be a miracle if she forgives him and trusts again.
Nor should she. Waah, poor Adam… who slept w/another gal. That’s a deal-breaker, imho (but it WAS only once… and he WAS upset… and he WAS drunk…). Sigh, like I said, “waah.” Now the lie… Idk, can’t break something already broken, so maybe that band-aid can piece it together! Welp, it’ll only hold for a short time: the break is definitive and irreparable.
I agree, Adam lied to Sally’s face and now since Chelsea confessed to Billy, Adam will lose Sally again. Not necessarily because he slept with Chelsea but because he blatantly lied to her

I could understand Chelsea and Adam wanting to hide the fact that they slept together. But watching Chelsea feel the right thing to do is ultimately tell the truth to Billy while at the same time watching Adam straight out lie to Sally’s face just makes these moments show Adam as the flawed person every character on this show claims he is. I overall love Adam but I can’t believe in a moment where he was directly asked to do the right thing and confess or lie he put himself and his needs over Sally’s. I loved the original Adam… Read more »
Totally agree with both of you. Adam lying to Sally was worse than sleeping with Chelsea. I know he did it because he is afraid of losing her, but now he is going to lose her for good . And he deserves it, I always liked them together but I didn’t think he would lie to her face.

Jason Thompson who plays Billy does such an incredible job making feel so sad for him when he sits there teary eyed as Chelsea is telling him the truth. Love this actor so much as Billy!
I completely agree about Jason T.; I’m a fan. I do think some viewers’ dislike of the Billy character negatively colors their opinion of the actor (which is actually reflective of powerful and effective acting), but I see and respect Jason T. as a fantastic Billy. (And, bonus!… he’s cute!)
I agree Jason is doing a fabulous job as Billy. Flaws and all.

Well, it appears I was on the right track with my prediction that Chelsea would be the first to admit the betrayal. Adam has really blown it! He did not follow Chelsea’s lead. He blatantly lied to Sally when confronted about her suspicions that he had slept with Chelsea and sadly, Sally fell for it. But now in classic Soap fashion, Chelsea texts Adam stating that she had confessed to Billy! Next week’s episode (s) should really be explosive! Adam how do you get yourself out of this one? So much for Sally stating just last week that she was… Read more »

I will do a flip flop and now defend Billy. How tiring it must be to have each day filled with negative encounters. Billy is greeted with dismissive comments and unsolicited advice. Everyone calls him a screw up and future screw ups are predicted. He mostly shrugs it off. Hats off to Billy for Teflon demeanor. I want Billy to outwit Victor.

I expect to see Lily with a neck collar on next time I see her. She’s been jerked around so much by Billy. I’m sure she has whiplash. Billy is acting so insecure under all that bravado. It’s time for Jill to come back to GC and see what’s going on. I don’t think Chance can save this one.
I can’t believe Jill would go along with Billy firing Lily. Jill handpicked Lily to run Chancellor. Jill should kick Billy out and give Lily her job back. And stop Victor from acquiring her company

Can Billy just fire Lily like that? I would assume not because she just can’t fire him cause if Lily could then I would think she would. I don’t even know who is on the board of they have to vote on her firing? But I also took Billy losing it on Lily and her lack of loyalty as a projection of his feelings of Chelsea putting them on a break and Billy deep down knowing Chelsea broke their trust.
Nikki wanting to run Chancellor is ridiculous, She has no experience being CEO of a major company like Chancellor. Maybe if she was Co=-CEO with Lily that might work. But they have to get rid of Billy, he is not doing a good job

Yesterday, Diane made reference to the “crowded C-suite” at Jabot, and it reminded me: remember the civil war last year between Ashley and Jack about Ashley’s fear that Diane wanted to take over? I know she’s out of the picture for the time being, but when Ashley comes back and is healthy again, is she going to resume that fight? Wasn’t she proven right? Is that storyline lost forever?

Claire’s goodie goodie personality is about to make me sick. Today her realtor bit was the final straw. Once Kyle deflowers her she is going to be making up for lost time. Lucky Kyle. Problem is they seem mostly Ugg to me.
All the storylines and characters are dull right now. One exception. The haunting of Cameron.
Lol, I felt the same way about Mariah and Tessa’s squid stuff and Diane’s ‘coupon book’ for Jack. Elementary school kids make coupon books for their parents as a ‘rite of gifting passage,’ yet Jack had acted like it was the most beautiful, thoughtful, and unique thing he’d ever seen. Silly stuff is just silly but rings – well – silly. Yawn… wake me up for the drama. (Yeah, yeah, I GET it’s all ‘in good fun’…)
Are we, the audience, being gaslighted? The show meanders from one focus story to another leaving loose ends along the way. Then we viewers tuck the loose end away, hoping it might make more sense later. These silly moment you’ve mentioned would be tolerable if sparsely woven into an episode that needs a light moment. But when the entire episode consists of shiny Claire and wide eyed Harrison interspersed with boring conversations at an eating establishment the episode is all filler.
Yessss… I’m all for light moments, both comedic and/or heart-warming. But I enjoy them much more when realized through witty dialogue and talented actor delivery than contrived nonsense scenes… and filler, as you say. But, wait…what am I saying?! Soaps ARE contrived nonsense often filled w/filler! And I love them, lol! So I’ll keep happily watching YnR… (all w/my well-placed sighs and groans, of course…)
That said, imho the YnR writers excel at writing snappy, witty dialogue. Can’t say I’m always wowed by the storylines, lol, but in those ho-hum instances, the talented cast always keeps me sucked in to see how things continue to play out…
I am sorry sueW, but the “statue of limitations” to not like My Tessa’s Squid Hats have passed. (Smiley Face).
But Harrison’s Paper Bag Dad is fair game.

I think Lily will end up working with Nikki when Victor takes over. Now is the time for Victor to pounce Billy is distracted by Chelsea’s confession
Really good point

I went to a fair the last long weekend and was very surprised to see the squid hats hanging down on display for sale at one of the booths there.
Cameron is so charming and funny in his postmortem state. I can now see what Sharon saw in him.
I love this comment! I agree, he seems quite playful and charming!
Wouldn’t it be funny if Sharon has a thing for Cameron.
Appreciation post for gorgeous Lily in her mint green dress!
