The preview of Michael and Lauren’s 20th anniversary made me tear up, They are the king and queen of romance and their celebration will be epic and so heartwarming. I have my tissues ready for next week’s episode.
Wowsa! Audra and Claire I’m going to rewind!! Yep! That’s a classic! There’s “being a bitch” and being homocidal, great line! Audra is right – going for the throat sent a clear message. Then we have Diane seeing Jack and Nikki at a table and she pauses to compose herself, pat her hair, stand a little taller before approaching. Diane and Nikki interacting is always good.
YnR has certainly unleashed villain upon villain in the past several months. (Or years? Idk, soap time is a blur to me.) Ashland L., Cameron K., Ian Ward, Aunt Jordan, Alan (or was it Martin, Idr) L., and maybe others – I forget. All portrayed by terrific actors. But let the Villain Emmy go UNDISPUTED to ROGER HOWARTH. Omg, just plz once again indulge my continual gushing over this actor and how he plays Mitch/Matt as utterly cuckoo-for-Cocoa-Puffs, funny, horrid, savvy, stupid, pitiful, and at times even relatable – all at once. I’ll say it again, how is anything Holden and Audra did years ago any of Claire’s business? It’s not. She is just digging for dirt on Audra so she can use it. She is again using being with her or her friend as leverage for information. It’s gross. NOW WE ARE TALKING! That was the best slap since Jill and Catherine in 1989! Its so good. The best young set the show has had since JT, Mac, Billy Raul wayy back.
Why shouldn’t Claire keep digging for dirt on Audra, lol? Give as good as she gets! Audra is hardly the victim here – nor is Claire. I say let the two feral cats scrap it out! Would the high road have been for Claire to ignore or even press assault charges on Audra’s diva-slap? Idk, but oh well – “too bad, so sad, waaah Audra:” you were (shocking!!) attacked back twofold. Maybe keep your haughty, manicured hands to your beautiful self?

Claire/Audra/Holden and Kyle are so much fun. Audra slapping Claire then getting strangled. 😮 now Kyle and Claire forming an alliance to get rid of Audra.
Well that was a real scrape Noah & his girlfriend finally escaped from, post Thanksgiving.
I enjoyed the sort of car chase. The chase was lame but, the dialogue drama was fun. Noah calling Nick to let him know that he was okay, while Victor and Mitch/Matt feud and threaten by phone and ending with a hug when Noah and Sienna are safe in front of the kids at the sports park. How long has it been since we saw any driving action scenes? Was it Sharon on the bridge dumping a body? LA is bringing us lots of new sets and scenes. I’m thinking a police station might be interesting.
I just watched Thursday’s episode. I’m genuinely confused. What exactly happened that enabled Sienna and Noah to get away? I saw Noah knock the dirty female cop’s gun away… but then what? Why didn’t we see the fight that followed? If the dirty cop (whose name I don’t know, sorry) was disarmed, why were they concerned (for a moment) about the fate of “good cop” Burrow? If they didn’t stay to help save Burrow’s life from his corrupt partner, I have questions about Noah and Sienna’s character. Nick wouldn’t have left Burrow to fend for himself. I don’t like it…
I just re-watched the scene. They knocked the dirty cop’s gun away and just… ran? Leaving Burrow to fend for himself against both Mitch/Matt and the cop with the gun? Who does that? If they had stuck around, they could have subdued Mitch/Matt and the dirty cop, potentially saved Burrow’s life, and put the Newman’s archenemy safely behind bars.
I’m sorry… This is foolish and cowardly behavior… unbecoming of a child of Nick and Sharon’s.
HAHAHA, yes, they bolted and left Burrows high and dry. We didn’t know what happened to him on Thursday, next we saw, Matt was chasing them down at the club.
Sorry – every man (couple, lol) for themself. Didn’t seem like Noah and Sienna could have orevailed… Yes, RUN!
I’ve been resistant to the Noah/Siena pairing. The age difference bothered me. But somehow after watching the two during their stand against Mitch I can better understand the feelings they have. They are very comfortable and close with each other. Noah loves her and he has aged up. He is very mature and I am enjoying this new actor very much. I hope they make it back to GC for many years of the stories about being an unlikely couple that lasts forever. I can see them at dinner party with Michael and Loren or Jack and Diane. Please don’t tell me the hot detective is dead and done. I want hot detective Burrow in Genoa City and pair him up with someone!
I’m guessing he’ll be around. Not sure about his bad partner detective though.
Surprised on poll results thus far! as I absolutely ADORE Daniel and Tessa together. To me they just melt into one another… and I really want more story intensifying their relationship. (Although I don’t see much substance past predictable melodrama when Mariah returns…) I did LOVE Tessa/Mariah and Daniel/Heather (and Lily, lol) ‘back in the day,’ but… movin’ on as soaps do… “Taniel?” “Tessle?” “Dansa?” “Daniel-a?” (Ok, Idk, maybe NOT a good couple who can’t catch a catchy catch-phrase!)
Mitch is one sick and twisted villain.
Mitch/Matt be on his way to Genova City to get his revenge on the Newmans. Victor better up his standards for his security team. A consult from Jason Bourne may be in order.
Sienna can’t keep her hands off of Noah’s rock hard pecs and his rippling abs. I guess one last grope in case Matt pulls out all those guns. Matt is scary when he is mad. That actor is great, he can go from almost boyish giddiness to scary monster in a split second. Those scenes in that storage closet were tense. Those Newman sure are a murderous bunch. Nick is always wanting to rip someone apart; Sharon has killed a couple people, at least one; Nikki has almost killed Diane and JT, along with Victoria’s help; Claire tried to kill… Read more »
Good to be a Newman, I guess, lol. (On a soap!!!) As many will want to remind you, Nick killed Ashland Locke… oh, waah. He’s still ‘my hero.’ (On a soap!!!) Murder just seems like another ‘oops’ in a bad day for residents GC, lol. And I’m fine w/that, too! (On a soap!!!) Roger Howarth is most of the reason I’m sucked into this story… he is sooooooo crazy-good-bad! I really hope YnR finds a way to keep him around – Idk how ‘soap silly’ it might be…
I also like new Noah. He actually does remind me some of the previous one, just not as dull… I like the more ‘in the moment’ vibe he’s giving.
Sure didn’t know where this episode was going. Roger Howarth is a very talented, nuanced actor. Glad he may be around for a while.
He is my new favorite to watch.
I had the same thought about Mitch/Matt’s computer network. He’s just running a single bar/nightclub. Who knows…? Michael told Victor he was very successful, but still…
Is he or isn’t he? Detective Barrows seems to be a dirty cop in Matt/Mitt’s pocket. Surprised Nick and Sharon fell for his undercover explanation and his paid stooge.
