Aww you didn’t screencap Nick’s smile when Summer was asking him about that outfit she made. It was so sexy. Like the biggest smile I’ve ever seen Joshua Morrow (Nick) do. Must have been genuine! And I LOVE that flowy dress Abby had on her first date with Chance!
Well, I was listening the week’s podcast when I asked about the 2019 “affair.” Then I kept listening, and you explained that. Sorry.
Well, I am not sure where to post this comment – I just listened to the 2018 Year End Affairrrrr podcast. It was great to hear the recaps and predictions. Are we going to have an affair at 2019 year end?

It’s not likely we’ll have pre-emptions again until mid-January. They’re all “home for the holidays” and there’s no movement for the time being with the additional hearings/trial. But since Y&R pre-tapes, i wish CBS would just post CBS.com and make it available to all on days we might miss it. I have All Access and feel like that would be a GREAT benefit!
I figured I would share my Christmas Eve meal with you I started to host Christmas Eve last year when my mother said it was too much for her but we have the same traditions from when my grandma used to make it we have filet mignon, shrimp scampi, Italian meatballs, and lasagna. We also have all the accompaniments like salad and vegetables and bread but who cares about those LOL
An Italian Christmas feast. Now, that’s what I’m talking about! Count me in for that filet mignon. Nom nom nom. Drool.

On Connor: He spends a lot of time alone in his room. Or at the ranch alone in the media room. Maybe there is a monster. They all seem to think it is imaginary. But maybe there really is something. Someone mentioned the secret door? Who would do it? Chloe?–she might be still trying to get to Adam. Victor?–thinking he won’t go too far, just get Chelsea away from Nick. Someone from Vegas? My vote is that there really is a monster, not just his imagination.
If there is a real monster I’m not interested. It’ll remind me of the voice in the wall, when JT was talking to JT. That was only last yr so no thanks. Like do they not have any other ideas?!
If the monster starts singing original composition lullabies to Connor, we’ll know it’s JT!
I don’t think there is a real monster,I think Conner needs real help before he hurts Sharon or anyone else trying to stop his family from re uniting. Sharon is right . Chelsea and Adam should be honest with him and make him feel secure even if they aren’t a couple
I am realizing that 2 big companies liked Jabot and Newman don’t have Christmas parties? I never really thought about it before. That could bring some excitement to the show. I know big companies sometimes have the workers kids go to the celebrations. Conner could do something very mischievous or bad at the party for some drama.
I read that you live near Toronto! So do I! I’m the the west GTA. What city are you in? YR chat is the only place I have to talk to fellow YR fans & sometimes I wish I could do it in person! Lucky us we get episodes 1 day early because of the Canadian broadcast is ahead.
Hey Ambreenie, I grew up in Brampton and then moved to Acton 15 years ago. It is a very small town west of Georgetown. It only has 3 traffic light stops! Maybe you’ve seen the commercials for the Old Hyde House here where they say “It’s worth the drive to Acton”. lol.. They sell good quality leather jackets and have furniture as well. Toronto is only 45 minutes from here on the 401. We live very close to one another. Yes we are lucky to get the episode 1 day early!

I have tried the dessert that Theo brought to the Abbott’s for Christmas only they weren’t dutch. The oil balls. An East Indian lady brought them in to work. They were very sweet tasting. Not sure if the dutch ones are the same. I enjoyed them.
The earrings Phyllis bought for Summer look very similar to a pair I bought a few weeks ago to wear to a Christmas party. Very pretty.
I wonder why Phyllis didn’t mention Daniel and her granddaughter Lucy at all? Phyllis was talking about her personal life with Summer at her birthday dinner, but only spoke about Nick and Adam. It would be nice if Y&R brought some of these characters on for the holidays. I don’t it is realistic that Phyllis and Summer don’t even acknowledge that they exist, as they are family. Daniel is Phyllis’s son and he is Summer’s half-brother. Shouldn’t their names be coming up at least once in their conversations as to how they are and what their plans are for the… Read more »

I don’t remember seeing that but maybe I was distracted by wrapping Xmas presents when she said it lol
I just don’t think I have seen those episodes yet. The one where Summer made the fairly large kid costume was the last one played here.
You will see them. Glad to see Phyllis acknowledges the other members of her family.

Billy and Amanda seem to be getting closer. Now they are texting one another. They’re not just interacting at the bar anymore but on a more personal level. I don ‘t remember seeing them exchanging numbers with one another? Also what was the reason? Not sure if I missed that. Their friendship seems to be taking a flirtatious turn. There definitely seems to be chemistry between them whether they want to admit it or not. Billy is hiding this “friendship” from Victoria which is not a good sign.
I hate to be negative but I honestly don’t think that I’ve ever been so bored with the show than I am right now. There’s literally NOTHING happening.
The show is not very exciting when none of the story lines involved any drama. They need to mix it up more to make the show more interesting.

It turned my stomach seeing Nick and Chelsea post coitus, I always have to look away from them. Her love means nothing when she can devastate the so called once love of her life Adam by being with his brother in his face after he comes back from the dead. The dead that was caused by her BFF that she forgave quicker than Adam for doing nothing. Roarrrrrr disgusting.
I’m glad I’m not the only one. I find it very distasteful too. And not just on Chelsea’s side—Nick has set his sights on Adam’s wife and both his sons and reacted with complete disdain when his brother was miraculously alive. It’s all cold and twisted. Nick and Adam need to stop pursuing the same women—Chelsea, Sharon, Sage. Now Phyllis is acting all weird about Adam. How long before we add her to the shared woman list?
Well, there are no bedrooms right now. None in the homes, and they don’t show suites at the GCAC any more.
I can empathize with Phyllis. She has, after all, gone through the experience of sleeping with a man for several months who was not her husband but, on top of everything else, a total stranger. Phyllis came to realize she was simply an expendable cog in a fiendish plan by Victor to eliminate his nemesis and assume control of Jabot. It is not surprising, therefore, that she would feel especially appalled when Adam proposed she should do him the favor of seducing Nick. Phyllis doth protest too much. She wants Adam to want her.
Phyllis is attracted to Adam ,thinks they are alot alike but she wants Nick. But it’s not up to Adam to have her seduce Nick. She can do that herself and will I’m sure.
