If I had been Kyle, as soon as Victor sat down I would have gotten up and left the restaurant. I wouldn’t give him the satisfaction to insult me and my family then end the conversation by saying “You have a good day”. Shut him down!
Nice pic of Jack pulling a fast one. I hope it sticks! How dare Jack step in and save Nikki’s life. How dare he! Vic, you’re a mental case. It is Jack who should not be able to forgive Victor for overtaking his life & identity, ultimately trying to get him blown-up at sea. Y&R, do you want us to forget that one? Jack seems to. You don’t come back with someone after that.
The writers leave out some notable shenanigans but I’m not sure why.
Did anyone bother to contact Heather’s mother April who lives in Lebanon? There hasn’t been any mention of her. I also find it a little ironic that Heather was murdered and Heather’s mother killed someone in self-defense.
Excellent point, Dianna. But please, don’t tell April. Possibly Y&R’s most boring characters ever! She was not able to catch a husband before becoming pregnant which sent April on the road to poverty and tedium, living in a rat trap of a dingy apartment with Heather in a baby bassinet, downstage, left. Paul refused to marry her!
It seems a little funny that Michael is talking to Nick about the fact that he is Sharon’s ex and how that would look very suspicious if Nick were to have anything to do with Sharon’s pills since they had a relationship before. Meanwhile, Chance is connected to everyone in the case and he’s the detective they chose for the investigation. Chance was also once involved with Sharon, and Heather. Apparently he was first Heather’s body guard before having an intimate relationship with her. Chance was also Summer’s boyfriend and Daniel’s friend. The one thing that has bothered me about Sharon seeing Cameron Kirsten, that I feel needs to be mentioned is that not one person has ever asked Sharon what the heck she is looking at when she was so blatantly looking at something right in front of everyone’s eyes! On several occasions, we see Nick, Mariah or Faith talking to Sharon and she turns her head staring at something yet no one questions her about it. Did anyone notice how dirty the bottom of Kyle’s shoes were when he was sitting in the Abbott living room talking to Claire? EEWW..it looked so yucky! I can’t believe Kyle is wearing dirty sneakers around the mansion. What happened to taking off your shoes at the front door! ..lol. That is the first time I have seen one of the characters have all that dirt showing on their footwear. It looked pretty bad! Talk about poking the bear. Jack sauntered over to the Newman Ranch to check on Nikki. He wanted to be sure her sobriety was sound. If I was Nikki, I would have been offended. Nikki has a sponsor now and should lean on them. As a friend Jack can support her. But beyond this, they aren’t helpful to each other in recovery. Jack almost died the last time he tried to help. Phyllis is boisterous about things, I am not worried about her. You know the saying, it’s the quiet ones that you have to look out for. Many have turned out to be serial killers. I believe Daniel is going to go after Sharon.
Chatters, I would like to make you aware of something. Earlier in the week there was a little synopsis of the day’s episode of what will happen at the top of the screen as you plug in. One of the entries read, “Nikki reaches across the line to help Sharon”. That never happened.
Friday: Niki and Claire sitting in the beautiful Sun Room both with new hair! Niki has been stunning every episode since her cut. That electric blue jacket looked great on her! Claire has gone a bit darker for the winter, I like it. Niki had good advice for Claire about her new romance. She has never had supportive women to turn to. Just that crazy witch. Kyle has taken off the rose colored glasses where Victor is concerned. Kyle looked a little scared when Victory admitted he had set a virtual time bomb in the Abbott house. I don’t think… Read more »
The Ranch unveiling episode focused on the love story of Victor and Nikki. Today, as Jack was seeing the ranch without all the wedding bling, it occurred to me that Jack and Nikki have a love story as well and I sometimes forget they’re exes; yet, still best friends. They have such a mutual respect for each other and I was wondering why their marriage ended. They are so close and I enjoy it when they are having a calm conversation.
I do love Jack and Nikki’s friendship as well; it’s genuine and enduring. I think? losing their baby may have contributed to their break-up? Not sure on that, but regardless of other factors, I think Victor always has been and always will be Nikki’s one true love, leaving Jack forever ‘friend-zoned.’ I suspect that was the biggest factor in play…
I agree that Nikki’s true love is Victor, but she and Jack have a unique relationship. She and Jack have the intimacy of family connections as well as the heart ties of a former romantic interest. They share looks of adoration and affection that is sweet to see.
Agree. I notice this new expression on Nikki’s face where she smiles with her mouth closed, gazing lovingly at people like Claire and I think Jack on Friday. It conveys a kind of intimacy, tenderness, warmth.
Also, Nikki was drinking a lot and trying to hide it from Jack. Nikki wasn’t in any kind of recovery and Jack was so angry.
Phyllis finally has a full face of makeup on again! Happy to see her looking healthy and beautiful. She implied Christine was old compared to Danny’s groupies. haha. Phyllis is on her “I told you so” tour. It’ll be a long one, but will she ever admit that she was distracted driving when she wrecked? It wasn’t Sharon’s car at all, that was a truck in Phyllis’s flashback. Still, can’t rule out Ian and Jordan. Sharon wasn’t texting Phyllis. Phyllis doesn’t want to give Sharon an inch. Unless I am hallucinating I think I read on my phone last night that “Y&R will go out with a bang this year!” The phone theorizes it will be Aunt Jordan & Uncle Ray who will get it, but I ask will it be Sharon who pulls the trigger???

Ali, I did not notice until you posted a snapshot picture, but Diane and Jack have mugs with big birds on them sitting on a branch. It’s the details, such as the Abbots bought mugs with a big parrot on it which Diane is drinking from.
Bird mugs. The ultimate status symbol!
