The new Faith is freaking etherial.
Towards the end of the episode with Nick in the Santa suit is Faith wearing elf ears or are those her real ears? Its interesting because her ears are big and stick out with her hair tucked behind them but not so big as to be cartoonish fake elf ears. Large or small, real or fake these are fantastic ears allowing me always to be a fan of Faith.
It is good that the antique book gifted to Nick from the whole family this Christmas did not burn up in the Newman fire – but this is actually but a dream with the book never having existed at all.
Phyllis tells Nick that they were hot together and laughed a lot but it was not enough. But it so is! You two are not just starry eyed starting out hoping for something deeper, you were married for something like 30 years and produced a child who you percieve as a “super girl”. If you can be hot and laugh now after all the intensity of your marriage (s?), don’t pine for the drama and be grateful. It would be nice to see Billy’s plan actually work and Billy come out on top for a change. It is tiring seeing Billy always make the wrong choices and come out the loser. I hope Jack’s words weren’t foreshadowing that Jack will be right about Billy.. If Billy is successful, it will be a game changer for Billy. It will also bring Billy and Lily’s relationship to a new level as it will strengthen their bond. Maybe then, Billy will decide to join Lily at Chancellor Industries as he will feel vindicated and ready to move forward.
I enjoyed seeing the set of the “dive’ bar that Billy used to hang out at with Amanda. I forgot all about it. I think I liked seeing the set because the lighting is so dim it has a different feel to it. We have not seen it in a long time. Having said that, Billy’s right when he told Lily that Sally must think he’s an idiot, as she keeps following him around with that silly disguise. It is very obvious that she is spying on Billy. I liked the gifts Billy and Lily gave each other. They both bought each other the gift of entertainment. I think this shows that they are a fun couple who like to enjoy life. I feel like they both made a good choice with their gifts as their gifts can be shared with one another while creating memories that will last a lifetime.

1. Christmas Cocktail Combat – Adam’s face while Chelsea and Sally went at it…loved it!
2. Grandson Trap – You know chessmaster Victor orchestrated that whole “walking in on hockey gear being wrapped” deal…
3. Sexy Under the Mistletoe – What would a soap be without a stylized, sizzling couple steaming up our TV screens. Thanks Billy and Lily!

I appreciated seeing some of the characters wrapping Christmas presents. I believe this is a first. We didn’t see the characters decorate at all so I was pleasantly surprised when we first saw Devon wrapping presents for Abby, Chance and Dominic. I liked Devon’s choice of wrapping paper. It was unique and had a 70’s look. It was not Christmas paper so maybe that was the reason Devon had an explanation of why he chose that pattern. Looks like the money spent on yesterday’s sets (7) was saved on today’s episode. They used only 4 if you consider the scene with Summer a set: Crimson Lights, the ranch, Society and Summer’s Milan apartment.

Well we have seen Summer, Noah, Cassie and Faith. The only missing offspring is Christian even though he is actually Adam’s.
