Just a passing thought. Didn’t Phyllis fight for the penthouse suite at her hotel? Why does her room look like Billy’s, Lily’s, Kyle’s, Alyssa’s, Chance’s, etc?

Fall on your knees
Oh hear the angel’s voices…
Merry Christmas to all.
I re-watched today’s Christmas episode from last year. I marveled at the closeness of everyone. The hugs, the kisses, Ashley holding Abby’s hand as they admired the table setting in Society.

On this Christmas Day perhaps it is important that we can channel the feeling of what of it is like to be abandoned by your parents and becoming a part of a system. I would like to share this video of children who had to experience that and the joy of becoming a member of a family once more. https://youtu.be/YxGQGkM8JVc
Merry Christmas.

Ali, you should have a poll question about our favorite Christmas couples this year. Although for me it’ll be hard to choose!
BTW, hope you are still enjoying OUAT. It’s such a great show and keeps getting better!

Ugh! Other than the Amanda storyline and Lily and Billy, this Christmas looked good, but was a dud. Jack “surprise” visitor was Sally (not a surprise, he invited her). I would have loved a visit from Dina and John. That would have been special. Kyle and Summer’s gift snafu was so predictable. Then, Sharon and Rey’s new tradition was forgettable. Also, Victoria’s jealousy was not very festive. Why couldn’t she, go past a church and hear singing, go in and begin to decide what is important. Lily and Billy were fun, but overall a holiday disappointment.
The particulars weren’t that exciting but I really enjoyed the show! Thought Y&R building a whole house front on the set for Amanda’s mother to welcome her favorite daughter on Christmas Eve was a surprising visual and just right! You knew Amanda must run away! How much did that cost?”Budget cuts” always foremost in my mind… We may never see that whole house again. I felt like the episode was very Christmassy, yet low key and intimate. Victoria’s jealousy over Lily and the boyfriend is somehow satisfying, yet it is Billy who should be getting his just deserts for walking… Read more »
I was so surprised to see the whole house of Amanda’s mother’s place as well! It was a very pleasant surprise. The daughter didn’t wait even 3 seconds after ringing the doorbell before telling her mother to open the door. Y&R could have waited a little bit longer before having the girl complaining at the door. Not realistic, but we know it was done to let us know she was a daughter of Amanda’s mother. Enjoyed the scene overall. I really liked Victoria’s blue dress as well. Very pretty. I have to admit I like seeing Victoria jealous over Billy… Read more »
Happy Holiday’s everyone! I agree the Xmas episode was a bit underwhelming. Decorating on the sets was fabulous though. Everything looked so beautiful ! Looking forward to a better New Year and hopefully on the show as well

Amanda trying to meet her mother is turning into a good storyline. Devon did a wonderful job supporting Amanda without “fixing” it. Michel Morgan did a fantastic job of showing us anxiety while grappling with decisions. I look forward to what Amanda does next.

About the last thing Kyle Abbott needs is an even more miniscule stone on his tie clip than the one he had before this latest surgery. Just get Summer a fancy purse…
I don’t know about great love, but I have been saying it for awhile now, that Y&R was going to put Sally Spectra with Jack Abbott.
This is following what B&B did with Eric and Quinn.
Oh, Sharod, it is epic. To last throughout the ages. Dina set son up that following a global hunt, the next woman he finds the slipper will fit. This is who Jack has chosen.
I think Jack will fall for Sally. He deserves someone special but not sure Sally will be that for Jack. She is even more conniving than Phyllis and that is saying something. But maybe they can make it work!
A 36 year age difference? Really? Why can’t Jack fall for a woman who is closer to his stage of life? And if they are doing this, where are all the relationships where the woman is 36 years older than the man? Ummm, ***crickets***

Phyllis tried joining forces with Adam before. Then, without any explanation, she chose to back out.

I liked the beautiful instrumental WHAT CHILD IS THIS that played at the end of the episode. Jack and Amanda are forelorn children.

Be done with it.
As it turns out it would seem young, grasping Sally Spectra IS Jack Abbott’s great love after all.

UGH, I hope you both are wrong. 🙂 Sally is just a little too eager. And Ashley and Nikki’s expressions were classic!
Sarcasm for X-mas

Remembering Dina. That was sweet.
It would have been nice to see Dina and John together.
If circumstances were otherwise Amanda would be a puddle of tears.
Gloria has been robbing you blind Victoria.
Henceforth I think it would be a good idea not to eat at Society.
That is her official family.
