It was heartbreaking to watch Tessa respond sympathetically as Sharon floated the idea that Mariah might be reacting to “voices.” But when a child has been taken, sympathy shouldn’t be the first instinct — fear should be. Tessa’s a parent; that should have set off every alarm. When Daniel hears of the conversation, he should send Tessa this email, the medium being at least part of the message. Reading it should cause her to take Aria and stay with a friend–or even Daniel if he’ll take her. Sienna is beginning to realize how young Noah is. He is willing to be totally flexible in his future. Sienna just needs to pick which one she wants. Sienna may want a partner, not a protector going forward. Mitch/Matt was no partner. Noah flexibility will work against him as Sienna requires a strong person to help her understand good boundaries.

Devon makes it seem that because it is Mariah who kidnapped their child and that she is their “friend” that this is something positive and that Dominic should be safe with her. But I think it is also very dangerous that it is Mariah because it will be a lot easier for a Mariah to convince Dominic that Abby and Devon don’t want him anymore as Dominic knows Mariah is “friends with his parents” and she is someone who in some way has been a part of his family. It’s dangerous because Dominic doesn’t even realize yet that he has… Read more »

We Chatters did not want to lose Chance. But I was glad to hear Abby talk about what a great dad Chance was and how much Dominic loved his Papa!
that was a sad moment. It made me miss him again, just like she did.

Since Sharon will be dealing with the trauma that Mariah is bringing lately; this is the perfect time for Nick and Sharon to get closer. He has been hurt and is vulnerable. And Sharon will need Nick just as much to help her weather the coming storm.

Six months ago, I, like other Chatters were not too interested in whether we saw much of Abby and Devon in a storyline at all. That is probably because they were never in a credible storyline. On Monday’s show the two of them reminded me how much I have missed them! They are best when showing what a sweet and loving family they are while raising Dom. Getting involved with Lily and other family members is not that interesting. But the three of them are a story worth telling and would hold the audience’s interest.

Forget Ian Ward (hallucinations, reality, whatev…). Maybe Stitch! is behind all of this Mariah nonsense – just like back when Dom was born. That doc on the lam is another cuckoo-pants still out there, so why not?? Idk, just throwing this into the mix to see what sticks, lol… after all, I have faith in the YnR writers to fabricate anything! (And I mean that in the best soapy way… not looking to bash the writers… I appreciate them! #YnRForeverFan)
I can’t believe Devon told Abby to try to remember that Mariah is their friend. It’s a very positive outlook and I appreciate that, but it’s not what I’d want to hear as a mom whose child has been kidnapped by my ‘friend’.
I don’t know how you maintain a friendship with someone when that someone kidnapped your child. I completely understand that Mariah needs help and I hope she gets better and knowing Y&R she will, but if I were Abby and Devon, they do not need to view Mariah as a friend anymore and someone they would not feel comfortable around again.

There’s been no evidence that Noah has even spoken with Ali since he got out of the hospital after the car wreck. He might not even need to break up with her. She’s probably just moved on after being abandoned.
Devon finally explained that Dom and Abby were in the backyard when Dom disappeared. I’ve been wondering how Mariah could have gotten into the house unnoticed. This late explanation seems like loose end tying.
Abby is really dressing for her feelings. That sweatsuit is even baggier than the last.
Nick, too, has been imbibing Adam’s Kool-Aid, spiced with a heavy hypocrite flavour. How many weeks ago was it that he and Nikki were lamenting Victor’s ‘brilliance’ in the planned attack on Jabot? Sure, they pretended not to be in complete agreement, but actually doing something to stop it was apparently a bridge too far. Nick didn’t even have the backbone to warn Summer that her own grandfather, with her grandmother’s and his own tacit support, was aiming a wrecking ball at Marchetti. Sadly, not crossing that bridge led exactly to where they are in today’s episode.

I think that they will continue to give us Ian Ward appearances that show he is a figment of Mariah’s insanity. Since Ian opened his eyes in the ambulance, he has to be alive still. They can slip the living Ian in and Mariah will still think he’s in her mind….until someone sees her talking with him and scream out in terror. I think that would be a fun twist, anyway. I hope he’s been drugging her so she will have an excuse for her crimes.
Can Noah & the great Sienna make it in Los Angeles?

Poor timing and Devon is lucky Abby didn’t punch him in the arm for saying that.

I thought we would have had a Jack and Noah run in and address Ali.
I am really liking Billy and Cane’s friendship. Cane needs to be humanized. Instead of always being a villain.

Y&R Chat, YOU fill in the blank.
The thing fans argue about the most is _____.
Can’t wait to read your comments on this one!
If Victor is a hero or a villain. Well, he’s both.
Phyllis. Fans either furiously love her. Or furiously hate her!
If Claire should be with Kyle or Holden.
If Adam and Sally should get back together!
Plausible vs absurd storylines
Hear hear!
