I’m with Chelsea and pleased to see the former con artist has evolved and is now becoming the moral compass for decency. Using cruelty and fear as a weapon is a bridge too far and she seems to be the only one that is questioning this diabolical scheme for revenge. The fear inflicted on Cane by Victor is just as tragic as the fear inflicted upon Abby and Devon by Mariah. Threats to family, whether real or imagined, are unjustifiable. Fear that your child or children are in danger, whether they’re grown or a preschooler, is agonizingly painful. Who will… Read more »

If Victor would just answer his family’s very reasonable questions they would stop badgering him. It drives me crazy when he does that. “You dare question my insane behavior? You’ll be damned!” What is wrong with Noah? Grilling his mother about Siena’s whereabouts when she already said she didn’t know before he even tries to call Siena? Sort of childish. But watching his heart break as he read Siena’s Dear John letter was very sad. He did a great job with that quiet scene. My favorite quote of the week: “You’ve not only lost your company, you’ve lost your mind.”… Read more »
I’m no Victor fan (except when I am) but I will respond on his side for once. He NEVER changes and they SHOULD know this. His family knows and suspects he has done rotten things before. That’s why they are bugging him now. So, if they would just stay out of his way/business he can do his mean retributions in private. The family reaps every benefit of his ruthless behavior. They need to buckle up and shut out the noise of their own conscience. The alternative is to love Victor as Abby does – from a distance.
Cane’s playing 4D chess — wearing a wire, looping in the FBI — while Holden’s playing checkers. Sending Holden to L.A.? Smart. Not telling him why? Risky. Bringing Claire? Catastrophic.
She’s not a friend, she’s a security leak. The second Holden gets near Lily and the twins, Claire feels “conflicted,” calls Victoria or Grandpa, and boom — Victor relocates them to a private island and the FBI lead goes cold.
In a war against Victor, Claire isn’t an asset. She’s a liability. What Holden doesn’t know won’t protect Cane — it’ll get someone killed.

PATTY WILLIAMS is returning to Y&R. Played by the last, Stacy Haiduk.. The one who dyed her rival, Dr. Emily’s hair straw blonde without a sink n the lock up psycho ward and then switched places with her taking over her identity. That drove me wild. WILD.
Oh boy. I don’t remember any of that. Except I do remember the actress – and that she played Patty. My vague recollection is she was obsessing over a cat(s), and Paul was devastated when realizing his sister’s mental illness… or her criminal activity?… or both…
I kind of remember the hair dying incident. Patty is a total nut and can be very scary especially when she’s carrying around the dead cat. I’m not looking forward to another round of crazy Patty because she will probably kidnap somebody.
Will she still be crazy and is this the latest in the Cam Kirsten, Roger terrorization concept for the show? Y&R only looks to the past for new inspiration now.
Yes Gary, I agree that YR is wanting everything old to be new again.

I loved the scene with Cane and Adam. Lots of good dialogue and Adam swagger. Cane realizes he is caught between Victor and Phyllis. He’s in real trouble either way. I would choose keeping out of Phyllis’s way. Victor is dangerous but Phyllis is fearless. No fear leads to Phyllis without guardrails.
Maybe not dumb.. reckless? in that her emotions overtake her decisions. Victor’s need for revenge reverts to emotionless auto-pilot and ‘goes for the jugular’ in all decisions, and he compartmentalizes his vendettas, lol. But when Phyllis perceives she is wronged, her whole being is consumed w/the seething, clouding any logic. No deep breaths for her. And while her no ‘guardrails’ (love your term for her approach!) blasts always inflict damage, they ultimately become her self-sabotaging downfall. (But so entertaining, lol!)
Excellent scene! The fury from Cane felt like they might come to blows.

Mariah is playing the victim for “carrying Dom in her tummy” for 9 months. She also knew exactly what she was doing including mental screening and legal paperwork signed. She had a wife and child then suddenly commits pillowcide for no apparent reason. The good news is Abby and Devon have a story.
Oh, I guess Mariah’s mental health problems were explained away at end of episode. Evil Ian Ward came back. A woman died and somehow she feels guilty because he came back for her. Okay I will try to find some empathy for her.
NOT!! I took your last statement as sarcasm. This version of Mariah deserves no body’s empathy or sympathy. Again when she first gave birth. After being kidnapped by Stitch, I would have understood the taking of the baby. But Now, Much, Much Too Late, for this storyline.
I used to really love the character of Mariah. She was fearless, funny, sarcastic and spunky.
These writers have choosen to turn her into a Mentally, Selfish, Unstable Mess.
I have little interest in Lily and the twins being held hostage (or not) but what goes around ….. Didn’t Cane have Nick and Sharon locked up in some room in his fancy chateau?
But that was because he thought Nick was trying to kill him. Sharon just got caught up in mix. What Victor and the Newmans are playing at, has nothing to do with Lily and The Twins.
It’s just plain wrong.
I always notice the odd looking monkey sitting like a Buddha on Sharon’s mantle. Sometimes I think the monkey has changed outfits so that could be attributed to the hallucinogens in my brownie. (That’s a totally untrue comment, I would never mess up a perfectly good brownie).
Hahahaha! Is that the ‘see no evil, etc.’ monkey? I thought that belonged to Phyllis… wasn’t it ‘a thing’ she had w/Nick? (Or, Idk, maybe not.. maybe it was w/Nick and Sharon?) Eh, too much VERY important soapy stuff over the years that I lose track of… but I def remember some monkey statue thing!!!!
I must correct myself. Seeing the figurine again the little guy is sitting on something, his legs aren’t crossed.

If Cane could hear Daniel and Phyllis from the stairs at the GCAC, then that whole restaurant could hear them talking about Victor abducting Lilly and her kids.

Hey Chatters, It seems that half of GC’s elite Families are headed to Fairmount Crest. Victor, Jack, Diane, Devon, Abby and Kyle are headed to Beyond The Gates Country Club.
I don’t get the connection. I know Devon was there for business reasons in the past, in search of musical talent. But beyond that, why the rest.
Last week, BTG name dropped Michael and Lauren. Michael owed Bill a favor from past attorney business. Bill wanted Lauren to help his daughter and niece. They want their purses to be sold in Fenmore stores. I was surprised that Lauren or Michael weren’t on the appearance list.

We can add child endangerment charges to the kidnapping charges that Mariah will be facing. Sleeping in a car during freezing weather is not safe! Hypothermia or carbon monoxide poisoning, pick your death.
Well, Daniel is well and truly over Heather’s death. Victor kidnaps Lily, Mattie, and Charlie — threatens to kill them — and somehow Daniel’s takeaway is that Victor’s right. And yeah — Sharon, Jordan, and Ian had points too. Just not morally defensible ones.
If Daniel is insane enough to believe what he just said, he should tell Tessa he’s volunteering to slit some throats if Cane doesn’t bow down.
However, I understand that in the Romalotti household, Lucy has been taught to just give the bully her lunch money, so he isn’t ‘forced’ to hit her. Lucy following Daniel’s advice in the real world will make her life nasty, brutish, and short. He needs to remember that while two Wrights did make an aeroplane, three wrongs definitely don’t make a right—especially when Victor is the one who started the count.
I am completely shock and truly appalled at the GC Residents and their response to what is happening to Victor Newman. Especially by Daniel and Sharon. I may not be a Phyllis Fan, but what she along with Cane is doing, is certainly nothing that Victor has not done to others. Phyllis is also correct, about Victor harming Lily and her children. I hope the writers haven’t forgotten that Lily is Devon’s Sister and he has to means to destroy Victor, if he so chooses.
Your’re right Sharod, I had forgotten all about Devon.
Devon should be Cane’s next call, asking him to call Lily. If Lily answers, it’s truth or consequences time: admit you’re complicit in extortion, and you’re fired from Winters with a press release that says ‘terminated for fraud.’ If she doesn’t answer, call Victor: “You and your motley crew of misfits have 10 minutes to produce my sister and her children at my door. And while you’re at it, tell me where your family has my son Dom stashed, or I’m calling the FBI and bankrupting you in civil court.”

Looks like Patty Williams is coming back to Genoa City after 10 years! Just announced earlier today. I wonder if this will give Jack and Diane something juicy. Imagine Diane vs. Patty? Now that would be fun!
Stacy Haiduk will be playing Patty Williams again.
I haven’t been watching that long. So I looked her up on Google Gemini, which provided me with these find quotes:
“If Patty Williams is returning, the residents of Genoa City better lock their doors—and hide their cats.”
“If GC thinks Mariah is “unstable,” they haven’t seen anything yet. Patty Williams makes Mariah’s current car-YAK look like a peaceful Sunday drive.”
Stacy Haiduk is fantastic in the role, so this should be entertaining.

Seeing Sharon at the Chancellor mansion felt like an alternate universe but i always love to see characters in unusual settings they might not always be at. It was a nice little surprise!
Phyllis’s orange and brown “mess of a dress” has really got to go!!!
that dress was quite ugly lol

One fine day Jack figured it out. Dr. Emily Peterson was Jack’s ice -skating girlfriend.

Probably so, I was lost in the maze the whole time at the chateau so I appreciate when you add context!
Watching on big bright TV in Living room. This show is decorated to smithereens.
That is, the sets are decorated to smithereens.Where are the people who live without design?
