In ancient times there was no “renewed for 4 more years”. It just was.
And did anyone notice that in the opening scene of the Y&R actors, Eric Braeden does a slight wink to the audience along with his alluring smile?
Best wink in showbusiness. Which is why he is the winner in the all star parade of Y&R opening credits
I started the week absolutely groaning at the Ashley-Audra-Tucker triangle. But now this is my favorite storyline! Eileen Davidson is nailing it! I wonder if she’s going to try and physically hurt Audra?
Is it just me or is anyone else worried that Jordan may kill Seth?

I think NIna’s advice to Cricket was very good at winning back Danny’s heart again. Cricket has been trying too hard with Danny which is probably a turn off for Danny as it makes look Christine look a little desperate and needy. Nina told Cricket to lay low for a while. She is right. Cricket has been acting like Phyllis in a way, by trying too hard. Danny would not be attracted to that. I am predicting that Kyle and Summer may start spending more time together now that Harrison’s nanny is out of the picture for a little while. I think this will cause some friction between Summer and her new romance with Chance as right now things are going very smoothly for them without any drama. This is just what Chance and Summer’s relationship needs to shake things up a little.
Ali i just read it was your birthday yesterday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALI!!! That is so amazing that you were born on a leap year. That is so special and unique like yourself. Hope you had a wonderful birthday and I wish you many many more to come! All the best to you dear Ali.
Claire was talking to Victoria and Cole about how she always dreamed of the Newman Ranch when she was a kid and imagined there were secret passageways in the house. I think this was Y&R’s way of hinting that Aunt Jordan will likely hide in the Ranch when she finds out Claire is living there. A chatter mentioned last week about J.T hiding in there at one time. It looks like they were right and it will be Aunt Jordan’s turn now.
The phone’s supposition is that Aunt Jorden will kill Seth sending Nikki deeper into the bottle forever.
So happy that it appears the JORDAN scenario is being accelerated to some degree. She is a murderer now and an arsonist and needs to be brought to justice asap. Plus, there isn’t much more they [the writers] can do with that storyline. Let’s get on with it!!!!
Don’t bet on it. The current build-up is slow so expect something big to come of it.The show doesn’t have a lot of compelling stories waiting in the wings right now but more corporate turmoil & job switching so this is their grand baby of emotion for the audience.

The previews show Amanda meeting Aunt Mamie for the first time. Aunt Mamie did not look the least bit impressed at meeting Amanda; and I believe that Aunt Mamie will be more than happy to go after Amanda with full force. Aunt Mamie does not intend to accept any ideas, thoughts, or proposals that Jill may have; and she certainly does not intend to accept anything Billy has to say!
I’m not sure I’m understanding the plan by Nikki that Seth is contacting “Isabel” (Jordan) again. At Crimson Lights, Nikki told Seth about her suspicions concerning Isabel. She asked him for Isabel’s phone number to compare it to the alarming calls Nikki has been receiving. When Seth approaches Isabel; he asks her what she is trying to pull with Nikki. Then Seth tells Isabel they will go outside together to call Nikki. In turn, Isabel tells Seth to go ahead and call because she is looking forward to the reunion! It looks like Seth is trying to be a hero for Nikki, “his love”. He wants to confront Isabel, aka. Jordan, and get her to admit how she caused Nikki to fall off the wagon. After that, he probably wouldn’t know what to do. Seth seems fairly aimless. His decision to go to rehab is good, but confronting Isabel is definitely not.
The Connor dilemma is the fault of all three persons involved. First, Adam should have coordinated the trip to see the specialist with Chelsea long before the day of travel to the school rather that showing up and just declaring that they will go in his car’ Chelsea would have been assured that they, his parents were settled on coming together. and calmed her without the need to turn to Billy. A kid can benefit from a relationship w/someone other than his or her parents (or even in place of his or her parents, lol) – particularly if the kid has a HEALTHY connection w/said adult. Idk if Billy’s involvement would or wouldn’t be in Connor’s best interest. (As usual, I’m not caught up…) But clearly friction among any caring adults in Connor’s life could only have a negative effect on the apparently troubled boy. I agree….it does/can take “a village to raise a child” and involvement with other adults with love towards them can always be a plus!! However Chelsea and Adam were going to first meet with the specialist to learn more about the assessment that was made. Billy could and should be a part of Connor’s life later after he is made aware of the visit’s outcome.
I will disagree with your assessment of the situation. It seems that Adam then coordinate his and Chelsea’s trip to go to THEIR SON’S school. This is why he drove to her place, that is above Crimson Lights. To drive them there. It seems that Chelsea failed to inform Adam, that Billy, (who should have no part in this discussion about Connor’s well being with professional) was coming along. Adam didn’t bring Sally. Sharod I thought Adam and Chelsea had not discuss the drive to the school because Billy would not have been there and Chelsea would not have asked him if he was sure he would be able to leave his job to take her…maybe I misunderstood for when Adam showed up he acted as though he was then going to drive them there, he and Chelsea….maybe I misunderstood again.
I do agree it should be the parents’ business and concern – assuming the parents are fit and can provide the best interest for their child – and I believe (at least presently… since neither is now ‘not that person’ they once were, lol) that both Chelsea and Adam fit that bill. However, not all parents will agree w/that – and one may take issue w/the other over something, and/or one may strongly feel they want to include an outsider. ‘Warranted or not’ is subjective… unless a court rules otherwise, one parent can’t ‘lay down the rules’ of how the… Read more »
