I’m loving Nikki’s frustrations being thrown around here and there, snapping at whoever irritates her in the least. Dear Trevor St. John, this is the way to display pent up frustration without looking downright psychotic!

Tucker’s flash anger is such a red flag. No matter what happened in Paris, his constant displays of anger demonstrates a weak mind and faulty values. Ashram my butt. He’s the most unbalanced and most unenlightened character on the show!

I voted no, that Seth is not a future villain, I thought at first he might be working with Jordan but now I think he is just drinking again and that He thought Nikki could help him.

I thought that Daniel and Heather would be boring due to both characters being so low key, no strong storylines wracked with havoc, drama, death and destruction, however, I am thoroughly enjoying the putting the pieces together, the sweetness, the reluctance of Daniel afraid of hurting his family again. It’s beginning to be one of my favorite stories.
I think we will be seeing Ashley and Tracy flying out to Paris to find out the truth of what really happened at the cafe. i believe this was foreshadowed when we heard Tucker say there were witnesses at the restaurant and we then saw the flashback of the waiter watching the argument. We are now seeing in the previews that Tracy is back and talking to Ashley about the fact there is her version, Tucker’s version and the truth. It will be interesting to hear what the waiter has to say. This has me very intrigued. I am sure… Read more »
I don’t know why Ashley is so upset over this. Two people can have a different perspective over the same event. That’s not unusual. Why does she think Tucker is gaslighting her?
Did it not occur to Ashley that Tucker is saying it did not go down as extreme as Ashley recalls because he doesn’t want to admit to HIMSELF that he lost control?Doesn’t she get it? Ashley is s a loon and a half to think Tucker is gaslighting her. It would never occur to Tucker that he even could gaslight Ashley over such a trivial difference of opinion. Ashley, if you can’t get over this non-issue right now you need to be put in the mental hospital. Tucker can’t commit you because your annulment is final as of Friday but… Read more »
I think you are right. Tucker does not want to admit what really happened. It is’t because he wants her to question her sanity. I think this is what Ashley believes as well but she needs Tucker to admit he is lying so that she can have peace of mind regarding her mental state.
Ashley is so upset because she thinks she is losing her mind or Tucker is making her think that. It could be Tucker’s way of getting to take over Jabot if Jack is worried about Ashley and not Jabot, then Tucker can manipulate things to take over
Ashley thinks Tucker gaslights her because he constantly displays flash anger. To me, this indicates he has an unhealthy mind as he cannot control his emotions. He doesn’t regulate his emotions therefore doesn’t think clearly and logically. He is defensive which shows immaturity. He immaturely strikes when challenged. When Ashley is clearly hurting, he went for daggers instead of understanding. He has no working conscience, this is clear to anyone who has been around this temper. Anyone, male or female, who displays this behavior has to be avoided at all costs, in real life or in soap operas! The only… Read more »

Random thoughts… Christine’s really been standing out to me lately in her bolder make-up and darker clothes. (And wow, she was a knock-out in her black sparkles on NYE!) I like the change from both her bland attorney clothes and pastel formalwear. I’m totally mesmerized by Hayley Erin… She perfectly rounds out a now ‘powerhouse trio’ w/Melody T.Scott and Amelia H… those 3 amazing actresses are powering the whole ‘baby Eve’ story. Claire Grace is my new favorite character to watch (Idc about the nonsense in the story) due to the very talented Hayley E.’s heart-breaking portrayal. I hope she… Read more »

As many chatters have mentioned recently; great job by Victoria’s character showing a much softer and caring side of her while trying to connect with her daughter! Have so enjoyed her portrayal lately; instead of her normal “always mad at (Daddy)” for daring to interrupt the way that “She” wants to run Newman!!

Claire telling Victoria the Newman’s hold some terrible, cold and spiteful grudges. Didn’t phase Victoria. Victoria has softened so much with this story, but her need for denial hasn’t.

Lauren’s conversation with Nikki about involving Jack was so well done. Lauren’s lines were strong and caring. She called Nikki out for rationalizing her concerns about Jack and Victor instead of making her recovery first priority. Worrying about Victor’s reactions is probably a sure fire way to have a slip up over the guilt.

Call me delusional, but shouldn’t Jack be assisting Ashley in getting some professional help? For drama’s sake, Ashley could still be falling apart, even though she’s seeing a therapist. It’s so obvious she’s losing it. Since it’s being played realistically, instead of over the top like Aunt Jordan, family would be very concerned.
Tucker hits it out of the ball-park with his grasp of the fact that Ashley (has always) not been able to be in a relationship. Ashley needs a shrink over the nuthouse. With Sharon involved elsewhere in big business Fairview awaits. If Eileen Davidson is leaving Y&R wouldn’t it be easier to just send her back to Paris to work as they always do instead of concocting this mental illness?

Ashley is so fragile and desperate to get Tucker to confess to mistreating her. I’m worried she isn’t strong enough to withstand all this. If she was emotionally stable she would move on from this one brief moment in her life. Yet she’s more and more fixated on getting an apology and confession from Tucker that he was Violent! I don’t mean to make light of Ashley’s version but safe bet a victim of domestic violence would trade Ashley’s trauma for her own.
I’m not up for a fragile Ashley storyline at the moment. I like her tough. I’m still traumatized by her relationship with Victor decades ago!

Ewww! Seth gave me the total willies when his creepy self snuck into Nikki’s office. That man is serving seriously dangerous vibes, I love that Nikki picked up on his unhealthy energy and cut ties with him. I actually, really like the idea of Jack being her new sponsor. This storyline gives him and long time fans, a chance to see Jack make amends for his missteps with her addiction origin story back in the early 90’s. PS. My Girl Phyllis devoured Danny like a helpless little snack at the Jazz Lounge…….she’s absolutely gorgeous and a total vixen……..and she knows… Read more »

Am I the only one who thinks Tucker is telling the truth about the incident in Paris? Ashley has never had a relationship with a man that has lasted. I can believe that she panicked and was subconsciously looking for an excuse to bail out on Tucker. She may have had doubts—after all she did marry Tucker of all people—and his minor hissy fit provided the perfect scenario for her to blow it up into a violent incident in her mind. She has had breaks with reality in the past. This could be a soapy story if they let Ashley… Read more »
I kinda figured the truth was probably somewhere in the middle of the 2, lol. It reminded me of the premise behind the cable series “The Affair,” when often the same scene featuring 2 main characters was shown twice: once through one character’s eyes and the 2nd time through the other’s. Each character had shared the same experience, but often experienced it verrrrry differently. The viewer then never knew just how things had actually transpired.
I don’t believe Tucker is telling the truth. He came back from Paris in a fury. He was livid and spoke very angrily. Even Audra raised her eyebrows and looked concerned for his behavior. Tucker’s reason for blowing up their new marriage was totally selfish and impulsive. I assume he knows about Ashley’s mental health history and he is seeing if he can weaken her this way. I see him as always having to be the victor.
Ooo Audra’s thinking is so snaky! Her thoughts patterns are sneaky!
I’m up to a Jack and Victor bromance! After all these years, this relationship is a gift 🙂
By the way put it on his tab! CUTE
They make me feel mushy!

I agree. A stay in the Psycho-Neurotic Institute for the Very, Very Nervous in California may be warranted.
WOW, Stephen
Well i guess I was asking for that

Why is Y&R doing a ridiculious, pointless Ashley “loosing it” story over nothing? It is not warrented at this time.

Sorry to disagree, but he doesn’t have minor hissy fits. His outbursts are red flags. They’re scary!
