Chase looks so much better with his new haircut!
Why would Tanner reply to Mariah’s text? Nobody does that. That was very odd. Also, why is he reading Tessa’s text messages? I am sure she will not be very happy when she finds out. I know this was done to stir up drama between Mariah and Tessa but it is not very realistic. People answer their own text messages, unless there was so sort of emergency.
It was intended to make Mariah think Tanner and Tessa are getting close again. Well let them, Mariah can move on with bartender Lindsay. I like her and she’s cute
That was hilarious when Phyllis made those kissy lips at Abby as she walked by her and Chance
Phyllis is so vindictive ,but so entertaining. She can be a bit much at times but now we will see a different side of her when she tries to help Sharon get through her Breast Cancer . Sharon could use a girlfriend to talk too and she made the first move being nice to Phyllis at the bar
Billy had the life that most people would die for. A beautiful wife, 2 adorable, healthy children, a high paying job. It looks like he doesn’t want to live the “cookie cutter” lifestyle. He feels sorry for himself like he is so hard done by. I can’t relate to him at all. His lifestyle is so lame and pathetic. He chose to spend Chrstimas Eve at home alone playing solitaire, most of New Year’s Eve in a dingy bar with Amanda, wasn’t happy about the ski trip with his family to Telluride. Billy is immature, He wants a family but adventure and freedom to do whatever he wants .
I love that we are seeing Tessa and Tanner on the airplane again. I really like these scenes and I have to say I love hearing them sing together. They sound great together and I enjoy the songs they sing. I think we may be getting a major storyline for Tessa with Tanner! He is too good of a character to not have onscreen as a regular character with Tessa. It also appears Mariah may start to get closer to the new bartender in town. I am looking forward to this new drama and romance for all of these characters.
Could Y&R have chosen a goofier looking group of guys for the scene at the Empty Glass? Yikes! The casting call must have said “Looking for strange looking doofuses to sit at a table playing cards”. Is this to show what Billy will eventually turn into…lol
Did you guys notice Michael got a haircut! His mullet is gone! YAY! Did you see the faces Abby was making when talking about Phyllis with Mariah & someone else (forgot who). It was so great! I’m loving the banter between Abby, Chance & Phyllis. Am I the only one who wonders how can any of the ladies sit down in their mini skirts?! I’d be worried about a wardrobe malfunction all the time! Why on earth would Kyle and Summer talk about their kiss in San Francisco with the office door wide open?? Very foolish on their part. Theo overheard them and Lola could have too if she had showed up at the office.
I wasn’t expecting Phyllis to react the way she did about seeing Sharon’s bandage. The scenes with Sharon and Phyllis had me dying for more! Correct me if I’m wrong, but didnt Phyllis’ mother have cancer or some kind of health crisis? It was like something was familiar to her. We need to know what made Phyllis respond that way. I want to know about the 50 Shades of Phyllis!
Its time for Chance’s mother Nina Webster to come back to GC. Back in the day, Nina was a bad ass who went up against Jill Abbott. She handled her own, and she was also front and center for the wrecking ball aka Phyllis destroying her BFF Christine and Danny’s. I would LOVE to see how Nina responds to cougar Phyllis chasing after her only son Chance!
That would be my dream come true!
It would be great to see Nina back on the show.

Interesting how Mariah and Abby had such a cozy chat and a night of club dancing when just a few years ago Mariah locked Abby up in a room where she couldn’t get out. A condo under construction I think it was. Wasn’t Mariah the mysterious stalker following Tyler & Abby around?
Well, I know we have had preemptions, but I am not compelled to seek out other ways to watch. (O.K., I did anyway, thought, and am caught up.). But there is just nothing making me scream for more. Rright now, I see storylines as: Fenn moving to Nashville. So? The Billy and Amanda thing is going somewhere? Or not? He is gambling, maybe? He’s at loose ends, not wit’s end. How low can Billy go? Only the writers know! Josh G says Billy’s mental state is going downhill even more. He said Jason did such a great job when he tried to hit Adam that he knows the actor can bring it again. Here’s the article: https://bit.ly/31bMhvg. I disappointed in Kyle for letting Summer kiss him & he kissed back. Its like Nate said…you can choose to control yourself. People on this show are so weak. Amanda & Nate both said they won’t have affairs with ppl so we shall see.
Camryn Grimes has confirmed that she is reprising the role of Cassie. Cassie is going to visit Sharon during her cancer storyline.
Can you imagine?
I would like to see Cassie come back to give Sharon some comfort and hope for the future
I love the idea of Newman Enterprise’s 50th anniversary because it is a excellent way to celebrate Eric Braeden’s 40th anniversary on The Young & The Restless.
