Nooooooooo!!! I loved the re;relationship between Adam and Sally!! Adam’s declaration to Victoria saying he is not in a relationship with Sally showed more humanity, love and deep caring than anything any of the Newmans have made outside of themselves. He truly cares and is willing to deny his own happiness with someone that means a lot to him, I blame Victor for the destructive way he creates havoc between his children. Y&R,,,pul–leeeezeee do not put Adam back with Sharon!!! PUL—LEEZZZEEE nooooo!!!

Next week looks dreadful. Nikki, Phyllis, Ashley and Victor all being obnoxious bullies—that’s horrible summer viewing! And Adam sacrificing his relationship with Sally so she can stay CEO of Newman Media—nooooooooo!! I guess I’m going to be cranky next week—so I’m already thankful to have all you Chatters out there to commiserate with. I’ll even respectfully read the comments of those of you who disagree with my POV. Ali has trained us well…

Something is not quite adding up. Arresting Ashland was far too easy, and he went to Victor and Victoria asking for the restraining order to be dropped. It’s a set up. We never saw what Adam and Ashland talked about. Possible that Diane is also in on it – she is also staying at the Athletic Club.

Can’t wait to see the Newman’s get what’s coming to their self-righteous clan.

Why didn’t Ashland just leave when he saw what was happening? The police weren’t in the park yet.
I hope that this means there’s a twist coming, but since this show has been light on twists during the last year or so perhaps it’s too much to hope for.

What a big disappointment Imani’s date with Nate ended up being. A big snoozer. Last week I was saying I was looking forward to this date and what would transpire. It looks like Ali and I were both duped. I know Ali predicted that Imani was not going to play the long game and likely drug Nate to seduce him. I said I wanted to see the long game as I was looking forward to Imani’s schemes. Having said that, I was expecting a lot more on the “dinner date”. Nate and Imani did not even sit at a table.… Read more »

It looks like I wrote my comment too early regarding bringing back an outdoor pool/ patio set on the show. I was very happy to see the Dive Bar on Thursdays episode here in Canada! It was very unexpected. I had mentioned bringing back the Dive bar in last week’s chat, but did not think we would be seeing it as we are halfway into summer. I am happy to see this set as I am getting very tired of seeing the characters dining at Society or drinking coffee Sharon’s coffee house. I just posted a few days that I… Read more »

Usually summer on Y&R seems to run from mid-June/early July through September, so hopefully this set will be around for a while!

I don’t understand why MIchael would need Diane to catch Ashland violating the restraining order Victor has everyone followed, so why would he not have Ashland followed if he thought Ashland was going to do exactly that? This doesn’t make any sense. It is obvious Y&R wanted Diane to be the hero in this scenario. So in other words, if Diane decided not to betray Ashland’s trust, then Ashland would not be in prison and he would have had a nice visit with Harrison. No one would be none the wiser! That would never happen as far as Victor is… Read more »

Love Ashland, hate the town. That Diane Jenkins would betray him! Harrisson needs acting lessons. A full investigation needs to be launched into the restraining order against Ashland as he has done absolutely nothing wrong in reguard to Harrison that would warrent the order. More criminality from Victor Newman. Put his wife Nikki behind bars to cool her arrogance. Who murdered Victoria Newman, keeping her down for good? Coming tale of woe for fan favorites Adam Newman & Sally Spectra.

My thoughts exactly Gary. No, Ashland does not win the award for the father of the year after faking his illness but it doesn’t warrant a restraining order. I felt so bad for him when Diane turned on him. I didn’t like how she set Ashland up to get caught. I thought for sure when Diane was watching Ashland with Harrison from a distance that she was going to regret contacting MIchael and change her mind. The look on Diane’s face made me think she was going to go over to them and make up an excuse to take Harrison… Read more »

Yes, exactly. I didn’t think Diane would turn him in as it was a needed vunerability for her character. After she made the rat contact I thought she would have a change of heart and scurry Ashland away – or Harrison, however that would best work out. I kept waiting for the cops to come into focus but not yet. I’m not sure that the Ashland we saw behind bars in the previews is for violating the restraining order, but Victor Newman is certainly a vicious thug that needs to be removed! Ashland and Harrison, meeting in the park, as… Read more »

Uh, what has Ashland done wrong re: Harrison? Perpetuating the cancer ruse and “sacrificing for Harrison to live his rightful life w/Kyle.” Ashland wasn’t all that interested in maintaining his relationship w/H then… but now Ashland has no one else (aka Victoria and the Newmans), so H is all he has.

Nick should pass up working at Newman to become an old west sherrif with his great ability to try & run people out of town.

Can’t believe the internal rage Victor has for Ashland for all he has done to his family. i can’t remember much of anything he’s done to his family.

* Victoria is very sneaky and a great fooler. She probably married Ashland for his position and so the two are equally duplicitous. Send Victoria to the gallows as a witch.
Perhaps I am coming off the spool with these comments, but as I said before, its only TV.
* Sharon understands Noah remains young and restless and dad will too. As Noah realizes, but as he says, “its complicated”. But not that much. And now, on to The Collanade Room for dinner!

I agree w/the general consensus that no one in the Newman ‘glass house’ is warranted to through stones. That said, even though I’m (off and on) ‘Team Ashland,’ I’m not sure I actually agree w/myself on that! ‘So he just faked cancer…’ Forget using anyone else’s sins as a barometer to measure the awfulness against. It’s wholly abominable all on its own, regardless if he played w/sinners or saints.

While Victoria may well be a good deal (if not all!) of the deplorable things Chatters say about her, I still love to watch the character both stumble and stride through her birthright – all due to the deliciously confident way the actress embodies her “Newman-ness.” A.Heinle is fantastic and I never tire of watching her (even if her character gets tiresome).

Would like to see a slide-back in the Rey Rosales healing process from Sharon and when is the Rey Rosales Policeman’s Ball hosted by Paul Williams?

Victoria recently stated that she does believe that Ashland does love her as he’s able and that he is sorry for what he did but never enough for these viper, vindictive Newmans. Never mind all that they have done. Ashland having faked cancer is a curiosity to me as it was never completely spelled out why he did that and exactly what he had to gain. The idea of profiting from a terminal disease to gain entry to a marriage seems very IFFY to me. What? Ashland would have had to believe that Victoria was only mercenary to marry a… Read more »

I had hoped Ashland might have a pretty little bomb for Victoria and Victor. Meanwhile poor Adam, dispite himself, is going psycho, becoming unhinged in avenging Sally’s job as she will do anything to save him from himself. Love is self-sacrifice.
