Looking at recent Sharon and Nick history scenes I just want to say Sharon looks so much better with wavy or curled hair. She has had this stick straight and middle part for several years now. I thought it would change but looks even more straight and like it was cut with a razor. Coupled with the horse smoker voice I don’t find her as attractive as she could be.
Why does Claire change her name to Newman when her birth certificate most likely had Cole’s last name Howard. Does Cole have a say in this?
I agree, The Olympics are starting this week and Kyle, Claire and Harrison are going to Paris, Olympics should at least be mentioned makes the soap more realistic

Great conversation between mother and daughter on Friday’s episode about the “birds and the bees”. “Clairison” confesses that she’s never had a romantic relationship. The “V-Word” was never uttered. I thought the writers did a good job with innuendo, if you will.

I VOTED NO…CHELSEA and ADAM should not confess to the tryst. They just have to work harder on trying to forget it even though the sex was more than being caught up in the moment.
I don’t think they should confess either but if it meant nothing why are they still thinking about it?

So IF YnR is going to definitively dwindle away ‘what coudda been’ Adam and Sally, I worry there’ll be not much left for the Sally character.-as her stories are rather aimless w/out the Adam hook. I like the actress very much anf hope her character gets a whole new, meaty story sans any Adam connection. I’m worried Sally S. Is headed to supporting oblivion…

Claire Grace do not cheapen yourself with elicit trip to Paris
I love Nikki and she is my favorite woman character on the show, but I was put out with her today. She is clearly mad at Victor and taking it out by being rude to Sally, openly hostile to Adam, and not one word of concern for Connor. For once,Adam was not scheming or plotting. He was doing the same bidding as Victoria and Nick; yet, he gets no credit for being cooperative with his siblings or taking on additional responsibilities with a child in the hospital.
I have noticed that Adam is being more thoughtful in his words and actions. He did respond well to her rudeness. More importantly, he took a stand with Victor that he wouldn’t harm Jack personally or in business.
Hmm. Okie dokie… I thought maybe it was throwback to when Sally oncr set up an ‘unholiday’ celebration w/Afam, but I don’t recall masks. Although it may have been NY’s Eve…

Okay. So either the writers are losing their own story plot or once again Claire has slipped with her life and lies. If I am recalling correctly Claire told Kyle that her Aunt Jordan never let her go anywhere, so it was difficult to make friends, even when she went to college. So, my question is. Why does this woman have an updated Passport? Most people don’t even get a passport, unless they plan to travel outside of their country.
Yeah, Jordan suddenly yanking a cowed child along somewhere on the lam doesn’t necessarily translate in a confused kid’s eyes as ‘going somewhere’… but maybe instead as just more of the same fragmented day-to-day chaos. That said, I am definitely not opposed to a ‘Claire is playing everyone’ story, either… thatd be just classic soapy stuff! Could be fun…
But Claire is staying put as the needed new Newman heir so whatever mischief she might stir up would ultimately be small potatoes. Henry understands that Claire is sincere.
Thank you for saying it Sharod. I thought the same thing. It doesn’t make sense.

Adam and Chelsea just fit together better than Adam and Sally. Chelsea has a classy style about her. Sally is so trendy (or slightly trashy) that Nick is somehow a better offset in my opinion. Nick is like a comfortable pair of shoes, Adam is like the cute shoes that you only wear when you don’t have to walk too much. Sally is so very high profile with her hair and clothes that Adam and his Prince of Darkness vibe is too much for them as a couple. I’m just talking about style. But actually also personality. Sally is intense,… Read more »
Those are some interesting points I can’t disagree with. I’ll agree, but Sally is soulful and calls out to me. Chelsea is classy, but Sally makes Adam flashy. It kind of works for him to have this cutting edge girlfriend on his arm who is more than what her outward style suggests. Do not judge a book by its cover, Naomi. I know because I do it all the time.
Not sure Sally is all that ‘cutting edge.’ She is NOT high fashion, although certainly bold in her make-up, color, style, and hair choices. She reminds me of rockstar groupie style (minus the big hair) vs. Paris runaway or hauté couture. Her personality actually strikes me as rather traditional vs. rebel..NONE of this is a “diss’- rather the contrary… Sally is a gem.
Sally is “bold” as you say in tribute to her early roots growing up alongside the great fashion house of Forester on Bold & Beautiful.

I’m continually amazed at everyone in GC immediately repeating things that someone shared in private conversations. Adam confides in Sally about Victor’s plots. She immediately blabs to Audra, of all people. I’m not sure Adam would appreciate her indiscriminately telling corporate plots to another person in a public place or anywhere else.
And Audra also told Sally that Victor was the secret investor. So basically everyone has this information because Adam also told Chelsea about what Victor wants him to do. Even Nate put two and two together. So, Victor’s so call secret is out.
Yes!!! This was the shocking part to me. That Audra trusts Sally so much that she revealed her secret investor as Victor… to the woman who Victor’s son is dating. :/ ?
I love Phyllis when she’s being her genuine self. She’s actually a good and decent person except when she is faking her own death and all the other ill advised things she’s done. Phyllis has a good side.and she’s a favorite for me.
Phyllis is our bad girl version of bad boy Victor. She is a force and has loyalty to no one other than her family. Villainous one day and endearing the next day and accepted by the audiences because the actors are fabulous.
Thank you! I think you and I think alike and I know you love these characters as much as I do.

First I will say I loved Phylis’s green dress , match her well. I agree with Sally’s concerns , her concerns are valid. I don’t think Clair should go on a trip with Kyle , it’s bad idea. I do wish they would open the gcac rooftop bar , I miss seeing it , I want to see it so I can feel the summer vibes

I know I have mentioned this in the past but I think now is the perfect to revisit the idea of bringing back Theo to the show as many chatters have also expressed interest in. Previously I had mentioned Kyle going to Paris and running into Theo. Theo lives in Paris and is running one of the Abbott companies there. I don’t remember what one exactly? Kyle is planning to go to Paris, so the timing is perfect for this scenario. Kyle could run into Theo and reveal to him all of his resentment towards his parents and how betrayed… Read more »
I believe Summer had been sleeping w/Theo before she and Kyle got together (or back together?) and eventually married… back in her wild child, auto thief, party girl days. I think it may have been to make Kyle jealous then, but Idr exactly…
Yes, sueW, I was going to comment about that, but I saw yours and just decided to piggyback on it. Summer was heavily involved with Theo. They were even working together at Jabot. The summer of 2019, they help market Tessa’s video.
I had forgotten any business connection between Summer and Theo. Otherwise, it seemed? Theo was more into Summer than sbe was into him, w/her pov re: their fling as just to make Kyle jealous. I often think that – bottom line – Kyle is ‘her person,’ and that will always color both of their stories. And I think Kyle feels the same for her…
I honestly don’t remember that. Thank you for the reminder. I guess Summer and Theo could revisit their romance again to get under Kyle’s skin and also create some drama for Summer and Chance.

Summer should not listen to the advice of her mother. Phyllis is not the right person to get advice from regarding Kyle and Harrison. Thank goodness Nick has a good head on his shoulders and reminds Summer that she is blowing everything way out of proportion and making a bigger deal about Kyle and his decisions than there needs to be. He reminded Summer that Audra has not committed any crimes and that she doesn’t know if Audra will be spending any time with Harrison. Kyle and Audra are business partners and that is all at the moment. Summer is… Read more »
I am really not understanding the writers having Summer this over the top about Kyle. She has a very charming and handsome Chance, by her side. This contrived jealousy is just stupid. She was so ga-ga over Chance, no this mess. However I must say, she and Phyllis are truly wrong about Audra. But letting their guard down about Claire will be a mistake.

That voice! It wasn’t like that years ago.
If I were a writer for a day, I think it would be fun if our Paris vacation would reference the Olympics.
I agree, The Olympics are starting this week and Kyle, Claire and Harrison are going to Paris, Olympics should at least be mentioned makes the soap more realistic

‘Paris is for lovers’…
I heard that
I love Nikki and she is my favorite woman character on the show, but I was put out with her today. She is clearly mad at Victor and taking it out by being rude to Sally, openly hostile to Adam, and not one word of concern for Connor. Nikki is a snot. And I love her anyway..
Nikki is one of my least favourite characters.
Adam tempers his words with Nikki and shows her the respect she does not give him.Still jealous of Hope’s boy after all these years.
I have noticed that Adam is being more thoughtful in his words and actions. He did respond well to her rudeness. More importantly, he took a stand with Victor that he wouldn’t harm Jack personally or in business.
Exactly that is what is behind Nikki’s treating him the way she does. His mother was Hope
Sadly, all the New Year’s Eve masks in the world can’t make Adam continue to love Sally.
I’m missing the reference… (but I’m not caught up on episodes).
This would sound odd, but SueW my comment will come into focus for you very soon. Please remember me when it does!

Sharod, you are great at catching the stuff that doesn’t exactly line up with past stories or character behavior.
When you are basically living on the lamb with your crazy Aunt Jorden, even if you never go anywhere, your aunt sees that you are PREPARED.
