If Stitch is staying, does that mean we’ll get to see him in the intro? It would be nice for Y&R to update their intro with some new/returning people. And if Tara and Ashland will stay for a while, I think they should be added too. Excited for next week’s episodes! Can’t wait to see who kidnapped Mariah. Y&R is getting better and better!

Imani may not realize it, but she may actually be bringing Nate and Elena closer. Nate is very handsome, but I am sure Elena may find Nate even more attractive when another beautiful woman is going after her man. Isn’t the saying, “A little competition never hurt anyone”. In this case, I think that may be true. Imani is helping Elena to be more aggressive in the relationship and in turn, making the relationship more interesting. Nate is not the most exciting character, and Imani adds that spark to his and Elena’s relationship by giving Elena a run for her… Read more »

I loved Lily’s chemistry with Jonny. It was super cute and sweet. Lily is awesome in the parent role.

If Johnny and Katie were home or even came home with Billy and saw Ashland lying unconscious on the floor… I don’t think that would go over very well. I wonder how much the kids will see Ashland because I think Billy and Victoria need to sit them down and explain this if they encounter a sight they do not want to see.

I love Phyllis digging up the truth on what Tara and Sally did to get Summer out of town. But I also wonder if Sally will expose it all and in the end betray Tara! With the more and more time Sally spends with Jack she could feel guilty keeping anymore secrets from him and truly wants it to work. She can then expose everything to rid of her guilty conscious and be truly honest with Jack. It seems Jack forgives easy and who knows, might give Sally another chance.

Sally feel guilty?? Ahahaha! NOT if she stays true to her original BnB character… Sally Spectra NEVER takes her eye off the prize. It could well serve her purpose to come clean w/Jack so he forgives her “oh, so poor choice she truly, truly regrets.” And the currently doofus Jack probably – with much soul-searching OF COUSE- probably would.

Sally was never an evil doer on B & B until the very end when they had her fake an illness and kidnap Felony Flo briefly. She was very hard working and ambitious and loved Wyatt—and a bit sneaky here and there. But not hard hearted or without a conscience. It looks like YR is determined to cast Sally as a villain who is not worthy of anyone’s time or understanding—even though most of the Abbotts and Newmans have done FAR worse things. My hypocrisy detector is on high alert as Phyllis and Billy are supposed to go after Sally… Read more »

Good to get more deets on Sallly Spectra’s backstory! I started BnB when Sally had just begun faking her terminal illness. So I got to know up her character as quite unlikeable: sneaky, snide, and desperate, all while scheming to get herself pregnant to trap Wyatt once her fake illness was exposed. And I saw Sally keep Flo handcuffed to – I think it was a radiator? I guess Flo didn’t press charges… because here Sally is. And that’s the Sally I know.

It was definitely a case of character sabotage at the end of Sally’s run. It was too bad. I can understand why you would see her that way if that’s all you knew of her!

Everyone has been speculating who Tara’s brother may be. We only know his name is Shawn. I don’t know if Y&R would dare do this, but what if Tara’s brother is Shawn Garrett! What if he is not dead after all, as characters are brought back to life all the time. He is the character who was president of Lauren’s fan club and became obsessed with Lauren many years ago when Lauren was singing with Danny Romalotti. This was a great story line as it was one that definitely drew me in as a kid. Obsession may run in the… Read more »

I wonder if NIna has Mariah hostage in the quiet room Ester told her about when she first arrived in Genoa City. Ester mentioned that room was the perfect place in the mansion for Nina to do her writing in as it is apparently soundproof. I have always felt this conversation was foreshadowing a turn of events that would occur in the near future. NIna seemed determined to convince Tessa, Abby and Stitch not to investigate Mariah’s mysterious texts any further. She was very quick to put a stop to Stitch locating Mariah using the technology abilities he said he… Read more »

Yes!! I am definitely on board with the twist that Nina is hiding Mariah in the Chancellor mansion in that soundproof room that was mentioned. Can you imagine that it is revealed that Mariah was home the whole time!! Such a great prediction!

And the more I think about that… what other purpose has Nina had in hanging about? She could be like Ashley -have the initial and occasional visit, and remain fully supportive off-screen. Maybe Stitch has just been the red herring so many chatters have surmised.

OMG! I was thinking the exact same thing a few days ago. But my comment was more subtle. I said the guilty party and Mariah is closer than we think. But this is exactly what I was taking about.
The problem though. How do we redeem Nina, if she did this?

They could just use the “she had a break from reality” theory, in that Nina temporarily snapped due to the stress of Chance being away during the surrogacy, and remembering her own tortured history. I think you guys are all correct and that Mariah is upstairs. Usually when the scene changes to the Chancellor mansion, Nina is propped on the couch or chair engaged in her crosswords, book, or needlepoint. Lately though we’ve seen her descending the staircase when she does enter the living room. Remember she said to Tessa “I’ll be upstairs if you need me.”

Next week’s preview shows Mariah in a room that sure looks like it could be in the mansion. Will I have to apologize to Stitch if it’s been Nina all along? Has she snapped due to the stress of Chance being gone yet again?

It really surprises how chill Nina is about Stitch constantly sniffing around Abby. Please go look at apartments with your ex husband while her current husband (Nina’s Son) is MIA. I know my MIL would not be cool with this situation.

Maybe Ashland just has Thallium poisoning, lol, Tara probably found Chelsea’s leftover supply and boom…….fake cancer plot initiated. A trusty dusty doctor payoff is easy in Soap Land. I kid, I kid!

Well, I just about busted a gasket to see Billy dane to move into the fair Sharon’s working space, although it is a public restaurant, dump all his good news on her which she probably doesn’t even care about (I could be projecting), spot Adam in the shadows and then demand to know: “Come on, Sharon, what are you doing letting riff-raff like that into this place?” Billy is not fit to wipe Adam’s boots at this point in time. It just really gauls me. Thank you for the listening board, Chats. I need this smug character with nothing to… Read more »

Ellen, you are a lawyer. Or some will say you play one for TV… I don’t know what the statue of limitations might be, but is there any chance of possibly prosecuting Billy Boy Abbott for the untimely death of Delia at this late date? For this, I almost wouldn’t mind going there again… A person can go to jail for leaving a pet in a hot car in the middle of the day. Surely Abbott can legally rot for not properly attending to his daughter”s safety in leaving her unsupervised in an open car in the dead of night… Read more »

In actuality Billy should have been charged for “endangering the life of a child(minor)”.
But that should have been done back in 2013, when Delia died or 2014 at the latest, when Billy Miller was in the role.
My Jason Thompson came on the scene in 2016, two Billies later. He is too sexy to be held accountable. :).

Sharod, you seem to take the action on the show so seriously, as if it were real, but now you are saying Billy is too sexy for his shirt? In my opinion, completely insufferable. Him, not you.

You know I was APPALLED that yet another opportunity passed and the record was not corrected. Hey Sharon—why didn’t you tell Billy to seek help regarding his daughter’s ACCIDENTAL death. And Adam, really, let him have it just once, for me. No one wanted Delia to die. But BILLY’S actions are what set the whole thing in motion. It’s long past time for Billy to take responsibility for his actions and stop projecting his guilt onto you. ENOUGH. Parental neglect, poor decision making that fateful night — whatever you want to call it—own it Billy—it’s all about you.

Sharon doesn’t have to raise her voice, it is beneath her, but the angel put Billy in his place but good! I don’t think Adam should let Billy have it. The silent treatment would better get the goat of him. Adam & Sharon are to good to take any bait from the dark, obsessed Billy.

Gaul of Billy on Friday’s episode comparing himself to the great Johnny and trying to grab credit. Johnny got the looks and charm and Billy got the evil in the genetics. Johnny can’t possibly be Jason Thompson’s son. He is the child of Billy Miller.

Ahahaha! I think Billy, esp. as played by Jason T., brings great fun to GC. Billy Boy is getting quite full of his judgy self these days, setting himself up for all sorts of falls that are sure to come. I do like his recent team-up with Phyllis – but it’s forever hard to forget the “ick” factor of his Phyllis/Summer fiasco… Gee, perhaps Lily should be on high alert if Mattie ever comes to town…

Nate just sitting back and soaking in two women fighting for him. You go Nate! The situation will come to a head at some point but for now let’s enjoy the cattiness with a fake smile planted on these two women’s faces.

Omg!! That would be such a big twist of Nina is involved with Mariah disappearing and then acting like she doesn’t know what going on.

I had that same thought. And the reason why Nina would do this, could tie back into an old storyline, regarding her ex-husband Phillip Chancellor lll. Who is also Chance’s Father.

I see I am not the only one who thought this about NIna also. She was so against anyone looking into Mariah’s whereabouts, it seemed very suspicious.

I believe that creepy Stitch is pursuing an experimental treatment for his son, something that requires embryonic stem cells. The phony texts, thought to be from Mariah, are pretty much verbatim what they said to Ben in person.

Another great theory—but so dark! He’s going to extract fetal tissue or stem cells? It’s too late for anything from the embryo—but some other experimental treatment from the fetus is possible. YR seems unlikely to go that dark?
