I was disappointed with Cane being Dumas. Character was recast. Doesn’t have an Australian Accent Said he wouldn’t even attempt to do one, making Cane his own. Guess this Cane isn’t from Australia. I think should have made a whole new character without ties to GC. I will give it a chance, but his explanation is going to be Colin his father died and got his billons that they made together. That’s what I read.
I’m disappointed that it is actually a recasted Cane. I would have been fine with Daniel Goddard as Cane coming back but I think this guy is miscast as Cane. He’s too young and has no accent, I really wish he could have been someone else.
Haven’t finished Friday show yet but Phyllis is on my last nerve!
I agree .I like Phyllis but she gets to be too much with her schemes and manipulations. She will still try to get Cane to finance her idea and will be pushy about it
Omg, just when I thought Phyllis’abominable red/black dress couldn’t look any worse, I saw the giant black flower on her butt. YnR Wardrobe Department:: RE-GROUP.
My fashionista eye was definitely busy this week. First, the flowers, statues, ponds with benches etc. were all so beautiful and appealed to my love of nature. Although, you would never get this farm raised girl or Eagle Scout mom to go near a maze on a strangers property, with a creepy guide and no map. The train car and dining area appeared to be and elegant with exquisite details in food and drink. The vacationing or travel clothes and accessories were not as successful as the sets. As soon as Lily was singled out, I knew it was Cane because of all our chatter guesses. I thought Lily’s shocked reaction to Cane being Dumas was justified and everyone invited to this meeting had a right to be angry about his manipulative actions. However, she is still getting on my nerves with her self righteous demands and indignation when she doesn’t get all the information she wants, when she wants it. I think it was a good idea for Dumas to reveal himself to Lily first, she was shocked and disappointed he was Cane, as most of the guests will be. Cane has a lot of convincing to do and why is he doing all this? What does he want from everyone? Can he convince everyone he is not being deceitful. And what do Chance and Abby have to do with all this except that Cane wants Chancellor Industries.
Okay, we had Nikki’s Wilma Flintstone pop bead necklace now Diane has a necklace made of well, hmmm not sure what the necklace is made of. It’s just strange.
It’s made of ugly.

This from my sketchy memory: He got involved with another woman possibly a work colleague and she became pregnant. The woman must have died and cane was left to raise the baby. Lily tried but couldn’t or wouldn’t form a bond with the baby. Cane left town to raise the baby and also to find the fortune that someone had been cheated out of. And I will be curious to see if this child could come to town , then bring the twins back too. Also bring back Neil’s child Moses and the mom. Why isn’t he a part of… Read more »

I think? he got superdrunk (w/the gal’s help?), and he had no memory of his night w/her? Whatev, a cheater’s a cheater -unless she drugged him. Idr, but i also dr him bring a great husband to Lily… at least that’s my take-away even while remembering no details, lol.
Cane had a drunken one-night stand with Juliet Helton, a business associate , and they had a baby boy. Cane shared custody with Juliet. Cane was living with Lily and their children. Lily had a hard time accepting the baby. After Lily caused the accident where Hilliary died, she went to prison. When she got out, she wanted to start fresh and divorced Cane. (I could be mistaken about some of my memories. Feel free to correct.)

Why didn’t Cane just return to Genoa City quietly & humbly with his GC billionare business?
So Y&R could go on endlessly about Aristotle Dumas, and now I think Cane reveal is a big letdown. It isn’t the actor, it’s him being Cane, should have been a new mysterious character
Nikki’s hair was beautiful on Friday; and her harlequin black and gold top was gorgeous!
She was pure golden elegance.
Is Carter the break-out star of the France adventure and is he the murderer?
With Amanda in white you have to ask yourself if this will all end up in bloodshed?
Nikki shows how snooty she is by being insulted by Alexander Dumas’ tardiness. They all showed to her birtday party on time.
Yawn. Now all the women will be fighting over who sleeps with ta da first. The only interesting character anymore is Phylis who on her Instagram is just as feisty in real life.
Audra is number two in interesting.
I won’t spoil the reveal and I am glad I didn’t have high expectations. The long wind up was a huge strike out for me. I hope they don’t repeat this mistake again with Mariah.

What is going on with Mariah? What could she possibly have done? Did she find out Ian is alive and either helped him or killed him? And who will that older man she met turn out to be. Whatever it was, she shouldn’t have given up on Tessa.
SPOILERS: Seeing Victor and Nikki in their tiny sleeping car was a bit jarring. I’m sure they feel like they are on top of each other. They are used to palatial opulence, not porta-john sized accommodations. I really liked the sleeper car set with the hallway outside. Very nice in Nice. Niki was beautiful in her gold top. Diane is right, they need to get Kyle away from Audra. He seems like he is being pulled in by her charms. Once Hillary pulled Lilly away, I knew it was Cane Ashby after all. thanks for the update on Cane. Chance and Abby come together to Niece. Chance is a Chancellor and Cane wants Chancellor, not sure why or if Billy will still help him, but he probably doesn’t like that Victor took it over and made Nikki CEO. I wonder if Jill knew that Dumas was Cane
I agree that the preview for next week was longer than usual
