I am very confused with Cole’s storyline. He has already been to the hospital and had tests done. We never did hear what the results were. I thought all this time that Cole had received the results and was hiding the truth from Victoria and Claire. This week we see a doctor come to the tack house to find out what is wrong with him as if he had never been to a hospital or seen a doctor before. We hear Victoria asking the doctor what’s wrong with him? This doesn’t make any sense? The doctor tells Victoria that it… Read more »

For me, it was seeing the prescription bottles on the coffee table that he was under medical care and I was confused about why you would drive him from the AC to the Ranch without seeing a doctor.

I don’t remember Cole going to hospital until the doctor came to see him at home. The doctor didn’t like what his chest sounded like thought it could be pneumonia and sent him to hospital and he is still there now.

I don’t think any doctor would order medicine without seeing him, so I don’t know where the medication came from, because Cole refused to see a doctor

It didn’t register with me until Kyle bought Nikki the bracelet with all of the names of her grandchildren on it, that Nick is a grandfather. I think I I didn’t realize this because it has never been mentioned by any of the characters that Harrison is Nick’s grandson. We know that Harrison is not Summer’s biological son, but of course, that is irrelevant. Summer is Nick’s daughter and she considers Harrison her son. I have never once heard Summer say “Lets go see grandpa Nick!” nor have I ever heard Nick ask Summer how his grandson is doing or… Read more »

Oh my word! You’re spot on and I think they purposefully downplay Nick or Phyllis as grandparents. Lucy even calls her Phyllis. Personally, I love the idea of Nick as a Paw Paw or Papa Nick.

I didn’t realize it myself but yes Nick is Harrison’s grandfather because Summer is his daughter

So if Aristotle D. is really Cane Ashby, I’m gonna need some dots connected… my memory of Cane is more of a screw-up ‘average Joe’ (albeit a cute one) rather than a great businessman capable of developing into a formidable corporate trillionaire/zillionaire – or whatever the wealthy are these days, lol. Idr what his job even was – maybe I’ve just forgotten all but his cuteness and cheating, lol. But it’s not jiving for me that Cane could now be at VN/JA levels…

I agree, Cane was never a great businessman, I don’t even remember much about him but guess we will find out Friday the 13th, hopefully he won’t be revealed as the last scene.

Tessa and Daniel playing guitar in the park together was a departure from most storylines. It was maybe a small thing for a scene; but also very meaningful. It gave two friends a chance to bond over a heart to heart talk while relaxing and practicing their music. Whether the writers put these two together romantically or not (hopefully so); their bonding as friends touches my heart!

I loved that scene too because it reminded me of two of my guitar playing friends.

I agree that was a beautiful scene, they should stay friends though not become lovers. But I guess depends what Mariah did. What could be so awful, she can’t even tell Sharon or Tessa? A one-night stand with an older man, a murder?

The brief scenes between Phyllis and Sally next to the Athletic Club “stairway” were priceless! We want more of this! Letting Phyllis sneak up behind Sally; and then later whispering “Boo” to her caught me off guard and were so funny! Phyllis inquired whether Sally is playing a Carny Con from her days in the circus. This seems to be the beginning of the “cat fight” between the two; and will undoubtedly be the source of much amusement in the weeks to come.

I do think the audience is PISSED OFF by this teaser.
What are fans most out of patience with? Who is Aristotle Alexander Denus or what is Mariah’s secret? I can’t respect Mariah for toying with loved ones over her terrible deed over bearing the burden of simply keeping it to herself since she is unable to spill. Now you have made everyone els miserable, Mariah, over just yourself.
Will ALI ask chatters to reveal their darkest, most depraved secrets in a new Y&R CHAT Sunday poll?

Mariah’s secret is new. Aristotle Dumas has been hiding who he is for months and if he does turn out to be Cane recast, will see where it goes and how how it affects everyone.

Mariah said it wasn’t a one night stand, that what she did was so bad she can’t even put a voice to it when she is alone. What could she have done? Maybe she started another family in a distant town. Did she burn down an orphanage? Murder someone and eat their heart right out of their chest? Whatever it is, I can’t wait to hear it. I really thought she hooked up with someone in the hotel bar, but I guess not. WAIT!! What was that flashback? Some old dude telling her she needs a friend? Is he the… Read more »

I’m not certain how I feel about Nikki’s hairstyle. It looked so chic at her birthday party, but as she’s having breakfast with Nick it just seems odd with the right side and bottom of left side pushed back and then lots of layers on top of left side. ???

I saw bobby-pins holding the whole thing together, rather back! Nikki is trying to turn the clock back with a rocker Debbie Harry look. (Did Debbie Harry ever look like this?) Next step: pink hair.

Gary, am I right? Isn’t Debbie Harry, Blondie? Love her so much! Great voice and beauty all together. They are still playing her music from back in the day on Pandora’s 70’s. Not sure if she is still performing or making albums. Thanks for the memory!

It just popped into my head to say this. I don’t really know who Debbie Harry is. I think she definiately might be Blondie or Pink! I think Pink is actually who I was thinking of when i made the inapproperate comment. Yes, its blonde Pink with the big sticking up pompodor in the front. There are some Chatter rockers out there in their spare time from Y&R who could better confirm. But we are really getting off topic from Dumas –

Debbie Harry is from Blondie. Pink is not Debbie Harry who is much older than Pink. Blondie was around in 80’s I think. Pink is more current

Sorry Nate, I will never really believe that Audra is a true softie at heart; however, I do think he is right about her heart for Amy. She truly loves Amy and her tears were a glimpse into her soft and sweet side. On a day where she was a topic for Lily and Damian’s conversation about business and her meeting with Victor, it was not lost on me that her cold and calculating side has a vulnerable side.

Audra can be venerable with Amy but generally she is self-serving. Victor wants Audra to seduce Kyle in Niece at Dumas’s party. And she probably will set up Kyle to at least look like he cheated on Claire, so she can keep her own new company.

This prenuptial type contract between boyfriend and grandfather is step too far for me. How do you legally define “breaking a heart” and how is it possible to litigate dating? Followed by a clause to have Kyle leave town which is a ludicrous and unenforceable agreement for a man with a child and other immediate family living in said town. Next, contracts are meant to be mutually beneficial, what does Victor pony up if no “broken heart” occurs and how are Kyle and Claire legally compensated? Lastly, the biggest problem is that Claire is not a witness or participant in… Read more »

It is all so silly! And clearly makes no ‘legal’ sense. But I’m getting a kick out of the whole thing. I figure soap writers of course know that viewers can’t possibly buy their stories as reality nor think their characters represent for real people. (Although hmm, I do know women that let men dictate their happiness…) Or Idk, maybe soap writers actually DO think viewers are stupid, lol. Oh well. Count me sucked in anyway!

I get the escape from reality aspect and that is why we love the soap drama and I buy into the fantasy fun on most days but, this hit me wrong. The contract was a bargaining agreement that reminded me too much of an old fashioned prearranged marriage type situation. My feminist radar went on high alert and I was disappointed because Y&R has always portrayed strong independent women and this missed the mark for me.

If my theory is right and Dumas is actually a recast Cane Ashby, then him firing Damien makes total sense. Classic Cane move—eliminate the competition and make a dramatic play for Lily, his one true love. Honestly, I wouldn’t put it past him to have a secret “Win Lily Back” playlist. Damien? Look, he’s nice enough, but let’s be real—Lily enjoys the attention more than she enjoys him. He’s giving lovesick puppy energy, and she’s just tossing him the occasional treat. There are no real sparks, just polite smiles and safe conversation. Now Holden? That’s a different story. There were… Read more »

Just finished Wednesday’s (6/4/25) Young and the Restless, and… I can’t believe I’m about to say this out loud—but Nick actually looks happier with Phyllis. As a ride-or-die Sharon-and-Nick endgame believer, this feels like betrayal. Betrayal, I tell you! But if Nick insists on digging through the archives of his love life, I guess I’m (reluctantly, dramatically) lighting a candle for Phyllis. At least their chaos is entertaining—and honestly, she’s got him smiling like he just discovered iced coffee.

Aaagh – knife through the heart betrayal here too! But Nick has gone w/out sex way too long, and at the minute, Phyllis seems like an easier bet for fixing that than Sharon does. So I’ll begrudgingly respect your Phyllis candle. For a while.

Finally catching up on Tuesday’s (6/3/25) Young and the Restless episode—and wow. Jack giving that speech about Nikki was next-level bold. Like, sir, you know Victor’s blood pressure spikes every time your name comes up, and Diane can barely get through brunch without rolling her eyes at Nikki. Yet there he was, waxing poetic like it was a wedding toast. The whole room looked like they wanted to disappear into the floor—except Jack and Nikki, who were clearly vibing. And then there’s Kyle. Bless his heart, he really thought waving a contract around was going to impress Victor. As if… Read more »
