Kyle it’s so stupid , I can’t , he is such an ass , so he is willing to ruin his family’s company by helping victor to go after it and for what ? , I really can’t with Kyle , Diane had the right to fire him because he kept sabotaging her and she gave him many chances and he sabotage because he was jealous of his mom , I can’t with Kyle, should Diane have talked to Jack first before the firing , yes but what is done it’s done , ugh . Kyle is the world’s biggest dope. This entitled little brat just keeps reverting back. Someone should punch him though it is said this solves nothing..
I always thought Kyle was a dim bulb. He either doesn’t realize this new job will be him against his dad and Jabot. At this moment he doesn’t know Victor is behind this that he wants to destroy Jack, or he just doesn’t care what happens to Jabot at this point, supposed to be his legacy, but he is willing to help Victor and Audra destroy it
Yes, but… Diane is putting her business career ahead of her family, plain and simple. She had the right idea: TO STEP DOWN for the sake of her relationship with her son… to give him the very thing she said she wanted back when she was conspiring with Kyle in order for Kyle to be Co-CEO. And of course Kyle could also “be the bigger person” for the sake of family unity and happily accept his role as COO, but as both Diane and Jack recognize, he’s an immature brat. But they each apparently think he’s competent CEO material, so… Read more »
So this would explain why she’s seemed a little off to me for some time now. I’ve been complaining she’s giggly and her emotions seem exaggerated. I just thought the actress was putting some spin on her acting. Looking back months ago Sharon was cranky with Adam. I guess the writers are giving us another mental health story.
Yes, I think Sharon talking about her past brought up a lot of bad memories and maybe with the new bipolar meds she is slipping into psychosis again. I thought that scene of her thinking about Daniel when Cassie was dying and blaming him is telling, something is going to snap . She is going to do something to hurt Daniel, maybe Lucy

Seeing next week’s previews, I ask writers to please not go there! You made us wait two years for Adam and Sally to find each other. And now you may again take away the only happiness Adam has had in over two years! He and Sally deserve their love story like Michael and Lauren have. I’m hoping this was a misguided moment of time which ends in only a kiss. Hoping Adam realizes before it’s too late that he loves Sally and wants a family and future with her!!
Again, Chatters, remember how cruel Chelsea was to Adam while she was in her wheelchair pretending to be an invalid!! That was cruelty at the highest level! She deserves no love or passion from Adam!!
‘Pixie Dust’ love this!! Chelsea was more likable for me as TP (THAT Person). Who is she to suddenly be telling Adam what to say, think and worst of all how he should feel about everything. Then he obediently says oh yes Chelsea, thanks for keeping me from having an independent opinion on my very own son. Hogwash.
I might like to see a Billy-Phyllis-Nick triangle. Billy could swoop in on Phyllis, who would feel guilty about it, and swoop in on Nick because he is more familiar, and Nick would just be fine about it.
I totally agree. They are going there. Adam and Chelsea will sleep together and hide it from Sally and Billy. I don’t like it either that they are messing Adam and Sally. They deserve some happiness. Adam giving support to Chelsea is fine, they don’t have to have sex.

I just think we are seeing time and time again that you should not work with your family. If only these characters would know that half of not most of their family issues would be solved if they did not work together! Lol (yes I know that means there would be no drama or show to watch and not make sense from writer standpoint). It’s never “just business” when you work with family and of course it always gets personal. For example, Diane firing Kyle can’t be “just business”, when it’s a mother firing her son. From an emotional side,… Read more »

Will Mariah call Nick to let him know Sharon is losing time? Sharon talking to her doctor may not help because she is unaware of her behavior when she blanks out. This could be the way Sharon and Nick reconnect.

Under NO circumstances would I fire my son. He might leave work with a big old bump on his head or a shoe print on his backside, but a pink slip in a family business is crazy. Jack was worried that Kyle speaking out against his mom would hurt their business reputation. How does a mom firing their son not have the same impact?
Kyle is too self-centered to see any point of view but his own. He claims the Abbotts are not thinking of their future. Neither is Kyle. It’s his way or no way. The viewers truly do not know what type of job Diane is doing in her executive position. We have to assume Jack is correct and she is performing well. We have seen Kyle undercut Diane, so we know her complaints are true. I think she went too far to fire him. Diane is obviously insecure and should have informed Jack of her decision. Then, they could have come… Read more »

Only a few minutes into the show but I’m really surprised at the way Diane is treating Kyle. I would fire myself before alienating my son. Apparently Diane’s career is more important than her relationship with Kyle. Even if Kyle is deliberately undermining her, step down!! Move aside, why is it so important to hang on to the position. Jobs come and go, she only has one child.
I am not sure why Jack and Diane need to continue to run the company. Jack is in his 70s and should retire. No doubt a suitable pension plan is in place. Go and see the world, stop in to Paris, see Ashley(s), and then go onto Vienna, Rome, Athens, and continue around the world showing a different green screen background every week. Let Kyle run the company — don’t worry, he won’t screw it up that badly. And if he does, at least they’ll get to see it rather than worry he will do it after they pass on.… Read more »
Because it is Jack’s Company. I don’t see anyone saying Victor should turn over his company to his children and travel the world with Nikki. And Kyle’s behavior shows exactly why he should not be put in charge. Arrogance abound. Let’s not forget, (apparently the writers have). Diane wanted to give the job to Kyle. She actually said she would step down and give Kyle the job. He told her no. So, I don’t even understand this completely unrealistic unwarranted turn around.
Kyle/Diane aside, I see the Newman business being all Victor: he founded/built it from scratch. Jack?… he inherited (Idk if that’s exactly correct) the Abbott business. V+J are each owners, sure, (does Jack share ownership?), and have ‘family dynasties,’ but I would feel differently being either Victor or Jack. Victor IS the dynasty- that’s always his priority. Jack juggles multiple priorities…
Totally disagree agree. I find it interesting that people are saying Diane should not fire Kyle. She is his boss. Why should she sacrifice her career because her child is an entitled brat. Kyle has been a butt head and behaving with complete insubordination. You are correct about jobs come and go. It is time for Kyle to go.
I’m not sure why I’m siding with Kyle on this. He keeps saying he was covering for his mom and making the deal that she was losing (but didn’t know she was losing). I think it’s partly that Kyle has more experience at Jabot and he’s younger. My work experience with younger people was they didn’t necessarily have patience to do it my way or listen to my past experiences. And usually they were more right than wrong and quicker, brighter, more energy. My opinion is Diane is in over her head and has been from the start. Kyle was… Read more »
Diane is angry because Kyle has been going behind her back for awhile now. Bad mouthing her to any employee that would listen and that deal which Kyle went behind His Boss’ back to make almost was lost and Diane had made a better deal. So, Yes Kyle was completely out of line.
I should add from comment below, you are right! Kyle is a butthead. He is seeking a job under Victor’s guidance. He is wanting to crush Jabot now because he’s so upset about the way his parents have treated him. That’s a butthead move. I still am on his side but I also like Diane especially now that the nicely nice has worn off. She’s top notch at wry observations and delivers zingers better than anyone on the show.
Yes, and why wouldn’t he! Kyle is all the things, brat, spoiled, selfish and all the rest. But his mother ‘died’ on him as a kid, then resurrected as NTPA. But now she is that person, she’s a piece of work as we say in hokeyville. I like her but I also know she is usually working an angle.
Yeah, I”m not a fan of parents who dump their kid ( IDC the ‘reason’ – THERE IS NO ACCEPTABLE ONE) and then reappear when ‘ready.’. Good parents don’t ‘pause’ parenting, or make crappy choices that put them in absentee mode. Ok, deep breath… and I’m back to embracing Diane, lol – because I love the soapy story! She’s at her best when she has more to do than simper over her beloved Jack.

Lots of chatter this week about Connor/Chelsea/Adam. I’m not focused on that storyline. It’s a bit too deep and depressing for me. I don’t like to imagine, albeit fictional, a kid harming himself due to OCD. Will “Chatters” weigh in on Diane firing Kyle? That was wild and it looks like Jack isn’t going to have a problem with it! Ali, will you entertain that with a poll question? Was Diane justified in firing Kyle? She really makes some good points regarding insubordination in my humble opinion. Kyle/Audra/Victor is a recipe for disaster!

Adam and Chelsea, listen to your instincts and go get your son. This not seeing a child while admitted to in patient care is a non negotiable for any reputable hospital. You should always be allowed to observe a child and an OCD patient is no different and expertise would include a treatment plan that had specialized rooms with observation access for isolated patients.

CHANCELLOR/WINTERS is a den of vipers where anyone might stab you in the back!
And what’s it all about? Just a name plate on your door and desk! Why are these families deceiving each other? Everyone wants more power to do what?? Doesn’t more power mean more headaches? Give me an entry level junior exec position any day. Money is suffice and go home at quitting time.

Connor’s treatment facility is a con job. Was it a coincidence Connor brought up the fact that the place was super-expensive on the very episode that a doctor intervened to say that he suffered this major setback?
Chelsea and Adam, rescue your son from these quacks right now!
I have believed this from the beginning. Also, I still think Connor is pulling a con job on his parents as payback for them not staying together as he wanted in the past. Let’s not forget who his parents are and what they are capable of doing. Chip off the block(s) as the saying goes.
I so agree with you about Adam and Chelsea rescuing their son!! Connor is giving out hints from his point of view; and even with OCD, they have said he is intelligent. So take some cues from him about your next move!

So is Adam and Chelsea going to cheat with each other or become the full blown affair we haven’t had in a long time!?
Sally Spectra is my favorite! Writers, please give her and Adam a chance to be together and have a baby! I know some Chatters want the Adam/Chelsea affair; and some would say they have a child together. But Adam and Sally had a child together too! (All I keep seeing in the back of my mind is Chelsea sitting in the wheelchair and her pretending to not be able to walk or talk, causing Adam immeasurable pain and suffering)!! I don’t mind he and Chelsea supporting their son’s needs together; but wanting them together is TERRIBLE!!
Dispite what Chelsea has thought Adam has always been good to her. What she has put him through that you astutely mention. But it is hard to hate Chelsea forever. When she is good she is very, very, good. A&C are great parents. I feel their pain, but no sex, please. Forget you saw the Friday preview.
Idk… Adam and Chelsea were once ‘soulmates’ (the soap version, lol) -looooong before Sally had arrived in GC. Idr the reason A+C broke up… Sharon? Nick? Lol, can’t recall who was w/who when, but there’s a deep-rooted history entwining them all that precedes Adam’s ‘grand love’ for Sally. (Billy popped in there somewhere, too – I think.) BUT, Sally’s a major player in the mix now… after all, she has joined the Sharon/Chelsea Sleep-w/both-Newman-Brothers club…
Wait – have Sharon and Chelsea each slept w/Billy, too? If so, then Sally could- for a ‘triple play’ for all? Or a ‘hat trick’? Or a ‘trifecta’? Or something of the sort? (Okay, I digress.. I’ve confused myself…)
Was Sharon married to Jack or just to Victor?? LOL

I am trying to be sensitive to the disease of OCD and understand that I do not have any personal knowledge of it, but this school gives me weird feelings. It could just be how the actress of the school doctor spoke to Adam and Chelsea about Connor, but I got this odd feeling that she could be lying to them and trying to get them away. Connor’s first therapist, when they told Adam and Chelsea that Connor had OCD seemed much more warm and wanting the parents to ask questions and understand what was going on. This doctor seemed… Read more »

I’m not sure whose side Lily is really on now. She seemed pretty angry at Devon when she told him on Wednesday that Billy was not the only one who has dealt with Devon’s control issues! She glanced at Nate when she said that; but he was unresponsive. Then the last scene today with Lily speaking to Jill was also confusing. Does anyone have any thoughts on how this story seems to be going with Lily, Jill and Billy?
Sharon W I am confused totally. For one thing I don’t care for this trickery that Lily has suggested . She’s either lying to Devon and really is planning on staying with Chancellor or she’s lying to Billy. Either way, I don’t like it and the story makes no sense. Especially now that Jill has made a recovery and will vote her own shares. Jill is never to be trusted, so good luck Billy, your mom is back.

So this would explain why she’s seemed a little off to me for some time now. I’ve been complaining she’s giggly and her emotions seem exaggerated. I had more to say but risked the dreaded “read more….”
Always thinking and so wise, Naomi.I myself worked to avoid the dreaded READ MORE with my own comment. I actually have further analysis.
Cameron Kirsten aftermath. She didn’t deal with him at the time.
Oh yeah, good point!
Use the read more when needed! I love “all” your comments! Thanks!
