That red outfit Victoria was wearing when she was talking to Cole about her photoshoot was so gorgeous! And later in the week she had a black dress on at Newman that was pretty. Since I’m talking about clothes, Dru looked great in the white dress at Jabot. Question: has Nikki always enjoyed the lavish lifestyle & being prim & proper? Or did becoming a Newman make her that way?

I had never seen Paul and Christine’s wedding and I loved it so much more than any of the weddings during wedding week. The vows. They both looked great. And that very real moment at the end where they both are so understanding. It really took the cake!

Speaking of cake, only Brad Carlton can get away with calling Lauren cupcake. 🙂

I just read an answer to a question I inquired about. B&B is currently back in production, making it, ” the first US television series to go back to its soundstage.” Impressive. Who would have guessed this? Among their COVID-19 restrictions are shorter days with a smaller cast on set which caused them to have to rework some of their scrips. Masks unless specifically acting in a scene. It’s really fantastic the way the show is pressing forward to please audiences in the tradition of “the show must go on!” B&B hopes their new episodes will air in July so… Read more »

Adrianne Leon is so gorgeous as Colleen. One of my favourite actresses for that character. As soon as I heard the word reliquary I cringed. I HATED that s/l. But I totally forgot that JT called professor Koerbel prof Cowbell! I LOVED that even back in 06! When I heard it again this wk I laughed for loud for real.

After watching emmy wk I found interesting tidbits. Camryn’s first win https://bit.ly/38sRRwJ
Behind the scenes 1999 emmy’s with Kristoff https://bit.ly/2ZtMskY (its a good playlist!)
Did you know Eric only won once & wasn’t at the ceremony? Jordi (Rey) won for GH as a younger actor & he was super excited in his acceptance speech. Beth won in 1985 and she was so gracious and sweet even back then (its on yt).

When the new episodes begin airing, Y&R really needs to acknowledge where Sharon’s mother is and why they are not in contact with each other anymore. I am sure the fans have never forgotten about Doris Collins as y&r would like us to by never mentioning her. I would also love to see a story line of Sharon finding her father, as this was a prediction I had made for 2020. I had predicted that Rey would help Sharon fulfill her mission to find her father, after her scare with cancer, before it is too late.

I also would like to know what happened to Sharon’s mother. Did she die? Also would be nice to see Lynn again. She had such a torch for Paul but never acted on it.

I would love to have a week of episodes of Christine and MIchael’s romance. That would be great to see as I wasn’t watching then. I know they were engaged at one time. Unfortunately, I realize Y&R would never have the two of the them be the theme of the week.
I also don’t remember Christine falling for Scott Grainger before realizing he was her step brother. I just read about it and was very surprised.

I had to find out more about Damon Porter and Phyllis as I was intrigued to know what Phyllis was looking so guilty about when Jack told her he was meeting with Drucilla to talk about Damon. Just as I suspected, Phyllis and Damon had shared a passionate kiss. Not shocking to learn this, as we know Phyllis is a cheater. I didn’t realize Phyllis had cheated on Jack with another man other than Nick. The whole Damon Porter story was quite a crazy story, that involved Phyllis dressing up as a man and a lot more.

Am I the only one who can’t stand NIck’s girlfriend Amy? I am glad he didn’t stay with her. Very annoying and not very likable, I don’t know why exactly. It’s just how I feel. lol. On that note: It would be nice to see how NIck finally won Sharon’s heart. We saw an episode where NIck was telling dad that Sharon wasn’t interested in him. I don’t think NIck realized Sharon was playing hard to get. The next episode we see Sharon and NIck together and in love at Paul and Christine’s wedding. I would be interested to see… Read more »

That’s the reason episodes should play out a storyline or at least end it without a cliffhanger. Like we saw Christine and Isabella in the tub scenes and didn’t finish it until this week a week or 2 later. Hope they finish Cassie’s death storyline. Last we saw she left the hospital to tell Danny she was driving the car and that was it

Cricket’s wedding dress was baby blue. I have never seen a wedding dress that colour. It was very pretty. It looked like a Disney princess dress.

I totally agree , was different for a first wedding. She looked beautiful like a Disney Princess

Yes she did. Lets not forget that she was married to Danny before Paul, so it isn’t her first wedding. I guess this is why she chose to not to wear white.

I had been on a bit of a vacation from YR, but these old episodes have really pulled me back in… This week’s notes of interest: – it really struck me how differently the characters relate to each other now versus in the past; there were so many *genuine* friends of Christine at her bridal shower (Nina, Lynne, Olivia, Dru, Lauren, Luan, Mary, etc.) compared to how much of a stretch it was for them to even assemble four attendees for Victoria’s infamous margarita party (most of whom didn’t even want to be there); perhaps the stories move so quickly… Read more »

I totally agree with you about the old episodes. I find them very entertaining, even though they are not in a particular order. I am enjoying the old classics much more than the current episodes. I love seeing the characters in their homes and at work, as opposed to always seeing the characters at the same restaurants, hotels and the coffee shop all the time
I also thought the same thing about the party for Christine as well. Now the friendships aren’t as genuine.

I always liked the friendship between Dru & Sharon, Nikki & Kay. I would like to see more friendships. Girls & girls. The bros.

was so funny when Mary Williams showed up at the shower with a toaster. I bet she would have preferred Lynne as Paul’s wife.

I thought the same thing. Not very realistic. She woke up so fast from that punch without a mark on her face

Should we start a list of characters who should turn bad and come back seeking revenge? So far we have Miguel and Lynne. Can we add John Silva? He never got much in return for his years of good deeds, did he?

I know he wasn’t a good guy but Tobias certainty has an axe to grind. After being exposed as a spy for Newman Enterprises he decided he was going to vent his anger against all the high and mighty of Genoa City, including his benefactor Victor, at a New Year’s Eve party. Despite the fact he was being a hypocrite and committing the ultimate faux pas that did not detract from the fact that everything he said was true. What was his reward? He was killed in an automobile accident in the slippery snow. He was not even afforded the… Read more »

I had to look up the character of Tobias to see who it was you were talking about. Good memory you have Zoperplex, as I wouldn’t have remembered him without seeing the face again.

One person who absolutely deserves to come back and reek revenge is Dr. Meredith. She was the doctor who help mend Victor from the injuries he sustained in a fight in prison. Then she fell in love with him, had sex with him, and was unceremoniously dumped no sooner as Victor was released from prison. Can you imagine how Dr. Meredith should feel. At one moment she jeopardizes her career and reputation to allow Victor the “pleasures of her flesh” because her love of him was that intense, and then the next moment it’s “slam, bam thank you ma’am” and… Read more »

Yes! Definitely Dr. Meredith! Victor really did her wrong—that was terrible! I feel bad about some of these characters that have been cast aside over the years. I want to reach through the TV and say “I liked you, I really liked you”! Being an actor must be very tough unless you are one of successful few.

This is too funny. It would be good to see an old character come back for revenge or even to try and woo one of the characters and cause trouble in their current relationships. I can’t even imagine John Silva being bad. That would be something.

I’m a John fan too. GC could use another lawyer and more courtroom drama.
