Billy Miller will always be my favorite Billy Abbott. I love Jason Thompson’s portrayal, but there is just something special about the chemistry between Amelia Hinle and Billy Miller. There was a fun playfulness between them that I miss for Victoria. Also, that smirk of his gets me every time.
100 times, YES! Listen to Ali griping about dour Victoria, dreaming of something to get her out of her perpetual rutt while singing the praises of flirty Heather Tom. What would get Vic out of her endless dark, put upon gloom would not be another matching darkie like Jason Thompson, but the fun loving corn ball jokester Billy Miller to keep her on her toes! They do have contrasting chemistry that lifts these two characters up over bringing the audience down. Fun,fun, fun til daddy takes the T-Bird away. And he will. This is the prequel to the episode that Zoperplex posted when she goes to the salon and first meets Jill. This clip tells us that Katherine and Philip were already having problems before Jill was in the picture. I also didn’t realize there was a different actor playing Philip. I completely forgot about Sophia and Moses. When the new episodes were still airing we have not heard them being mentioned very often. It would be nice to see them pay a visit when the new episodes air. Moses could hang out with Faith as I believe they would be close to the same age. Maybe even a tween romance could evolve between them.
I LOVE that idea! And I can’t not mention that Sophia’s beauty and confidence always made me feel body positive.
I loved seeing Emme Rylan the actress who used to play Abby. She was my favourite Abby and one of my favourite characters on the show. I was disappointed when she left the show. I am not sure why she left, but I always found her very intriguing. I didn’t realize she was ever involved with Daniel. They should bring Daneil back and have him stir up trouble between Abby and Chance.
Mine, too! She was a natural – warm, bright and funny.
Speaking about Paul. Why did Paul say “Why did you call?” to Christine when she called when Isabella was there. That was definitely not the right thing to say to his wife. Paul needed to schmooze more with Christine, not have an attitude with her if he wants to get on his wife’s good side and work things out.
We finally got to see Paul’s apartment with the bicycle hanging on the wall that I had spoke about a few weeks ago. It’s been so long. I forgot about the neon sign in the background that said Paul’s. You gotta love Paul’s low v neck sweater with his hairy chest with the gold chain around his neck. Very classic

Don’t give me wrong they could’ve used a little boost in the decor not exactly the dump that it was. They I do use a different bar with Billy and Amanda but it was only Dianne that went there I think John was it he needs to re-open Jimmys.
I know this is probably not popular but I really miss Jimmys bar. I felt like a lot of drama happened there and it was a place for everybody to go to let their hair down… A far cry from society LOL
We are still not getting the Friday episodes this is so annoying. I hope it is not a trend New York
I enjoyed the romance and couples this week ,but Wednesday they were showing how Michael and Lauren got engaged and it was jovial,but I was more interested in Cassie’s storyline leaving the hospital to let Daniel know she was driving the car because everyone thought he was driving including him. Would have liked to see the aftermath Cassie’s death . Hope they show some of these emotional moments we haven’t thought about in awhile.
Has hell frozen over???? I do declare! I believe I just saw Michael Muhney as Adam Newman in scenes with Sharon on my TV. Wow. Let me catch my breath. Okay. He really IS Adam, no doubt about it. I love the intensity and focus he brings to every line. Too bad he messed up so badly on set that he had to be fired. It is kinda funny that they chose to run an episode featuring Adam in jail looking all disheveled. No fancy party attire for Michael Muhney, nope. That’s pretty shady 🙂

Congratulations, Ellen. Your patience has paid off. Disproving my theory that Y&R was committed to punishing Adam by keeping you two apart. Special double bonus, actually, for not just fans of MM, but Adam & Sharon as well! I was thinking this was kind of an odd plucking of an episode. I guess it was Kevin & Chloe who were the chosen lovers, but… Your observation about Y&R condesending to allow Muhney to appear, but putting him in the dog-house (jail) for his big close-up is really funny. I liked Adam and Sharon as a couple, maybe they can entertain that idea in the future episodes.
Yes! The demise (maybe?) of Dru is a story they should revisit! Maybe to set up her long awaited return to the show now that Lily is back? We need the Winters family to be re-established and front burner. Neil is such a terrible loss. Dru could fill that role if they could explain where she has been via the classic amnesia or coma story. We could have Dru, Devon, Lily, Nate, Olivia, recast Malcolm?
And the twins for some college age storylines!
Not a fan of teens in general except these two! Bring them back!

It would be so ironic to bring Drucilla back just in time to not be able to reunite with Neil… But worth it! She could begin a whole new life, with the Winters needing someone substantial to make them whole over scattered. Fairly recently Victoria Rowell has swallowed her pride in expressing an interest to return. We never have any true idea of the debth of behind the scenes conflict, but Y&R does seem to, justified or not justified, hold a bit of a grudge. Yes, harassment. They didn’t even let hair & makeup run a comb through Muhney’s thick, wavy hair before his scenes. He looked like he had been in San Quentin for a 10 year stint. Cruel and unusual punishment (for me).
I read an interview with MM years ago where he said that the wilder that his hair was, the more trouble Adam was in (or something to that effect.) I believe the hair was actor’s choice.
Loved it too, he was my favorite Adam. Hope they show more of his episodes. Not just the aftermath of Skye falling in a volcano lol!
Michael Muhney has been getting some love on Twitter about his return, which he seems quite thankful for. He seems very fond of Sharon Case in particular, but seems bitter in general about those in charge at YR. He says he would never go back to the role. Also no mention of any mistakes he made, hmmmm. Anyway, he was great as Adam. Now, will we also see the very successful Justin Hartley as Adam? He was good, but just a bit too blonde and doe-eyed to fill Muhney’s dark, misunderstood shoes, in my biased opinion. It seems like they… Read more »
I liked Justin Hartley, but he was just too normal (light over darkness) and appeared too mentally healthy to fit into Adam’s shoes. I think about everybody liked him, but would choose MM, like you.
I hate to mention this (again) because it seems like gossip, but it falls into the conversation. I don’t think this was widely publicized, but credible SOD reported on a statement Michael Muhney made about how sorry he was for his big mistake at Y&R as if it was completely horrendous (we don’t know the extent of what went down) and over time he said the state of affairs distressed him so much that he comptenplated suicide. His situation came a bit before the Me Too movement, but kind of ran into that, so given political correctness his bad behavior… Read more »
Wow, don’t know how I missed that. Glad to hear he made a full apology for what he did. Not much else he can do except that and never repeat the mistake. He seems to be getting some acting work now. He is kind of unrecognizable now—slicked back hair and big mustache—maybe for a part he’s doing? Anyway, the MM days are over. We have our Daytime Emmy nominated Mark Grossman to watch now.
Mark Grossman got nominated? Well, I guess that helps close the discussion over weather he is working out or not…
