Ali, can you do a spotlight on scenery for the new coffeehouse vs the old one. I’m just trying to compare what changes were made. I like the newer version. I hated those ugly tasseled tables! Wish the creepy eyes had made the cut too but nope! I hope everyone is staying safe indoors! I can’t go out even to groceries cuz I’m immune compromised so covid 19 is literally the scariest thing ever. Plus I already have lung issues due to all the respiratory infections I’ve already had. i just wondered if anyone else has noticed that Chloe seems to be wearing a wig. I wonder why, as I don’t think she used to before. I noticed that when she first came back to the show. She was wearing a different wig that didn’t look as natural as the one she wears now. You can’t see her skull as you can with the other characters. Also, Chloe’s face looks different than it did before she left the show. She is still pretty, but there is some kind of surgery she has done that makes her face look bigger… Read more »

I can’t say that I’m not disappointed that we are not going to be seeing the inside of Chancellor Industries. I knew it was too good to be true! I guess Y&R already had the Dark Horse set ready so they decided to use that office set for Billy and Lily to work their magic.
It is obvious that Nikki was uncomfortable when Adam was discussing Hope’s farm. She rolled her eyes at the conversation and did not seem to want to hear what Adam had to say. NIkki showed us her discomfort once again when Victor was talking to Nikki after Adam left. I believe Victor was saying how beautiful and peaceful the farm was and how he wished that he was more of a father to Adam when he was growing up. NIkki reminded Victor that Adam had a good upbringing but was quick to end the conversation by saying that she had… Read more »
Amazing how petty Nikki was after all these years and with Hope gone so long. Age should have given her some wisdom and maturity on the subject of Hope and Adam, but there is none. Zero. Victor should not have been absent from Adam’s life, no matter what Hope requested. And Nikki could have been a mother to a child with Jack. Would she have been fine having a stepmother raise that child with Jack in some distant state? Too bad Nikki can’t be a positive influence with Victor and Adam. All she does is spit venom at Adam. This relates to absolutely nothing, and the character may be gone already, but does anyone else see the resemblance between bartender Lindsay and Brittany Hodges? Maybe it’s just me—I’m sure any likeness between the characters is a coincidence. Perhaps I have just been in my house too many days in a row…

Looks like a random repeat. Back when Phyllis and Adam were pals, Nick had a crew cut and beloved Cane was in the credits!
For me it seemed that Tessa was softening to Mariah, when she heard about the lost of her job, she even said to Mariah, “I am your partner”, (not I was your partner) and even more so when Mariah told her about Sharon’s cancer. But sadly she shut down, when Mariah admitted that she shared all of that with Lindsay and not her. At this point I think for Tessa, it became not only a physical betrayal but an emotional one as well. Double Whammy.
Yes ,Tessa never expected cheating from Mariah. I’m sure we didn’t either,I thought Tessa would cheat first with Tanner. But i like Lindsay too, I’m sure there will be a triangle because Tessa is ignoring Mariah’s apology and Tanner is interested in Tessa.
…Well actually I saw it coming the minute Mariah saw Lindsay at Society. I don’t care for Lindsay because she took advantage of a vulnerable person and played on her insecurities, what she did was not really being a friend. Tanner may want Tessa, but Tessa doesn’t want Tanner. Tessa still loves Mariah.
Maybe Tanner knows Lindsay and sent her to break up T&M.
Why couldn’t they have given Tessa some waterproof mascara? Lol

…Honestly, that comment was some what of a joke, made out of frustration with the writing of Tessa’s Character. Because it seems that no matter what Tessa does, she is supposed to be that character that nobody is to sympathize with. The writing of this story line alone is proof of that. No one has said to Mariah that what she did to Tessa was wrong, including Summer-the one person that Mariah has attacked more times than I can count-was showing Mariah sympathy. I am glad Tanner admitted that he was purposely trying to make Mariah think there was something going on between he and Tessa. Now we know the truth. I had a feeling that he wasn’t that naive to what he was doing to Mariah. I am also thrilled that we are still seeing Tanner and Tessa on our screen. I loved the airplane scene and I really loved seeing them on stage! It was unexpected. It was a nice touch hearing the live audience screaming and hollering in the background. Dianna, Tanner actually admitted that he was lying about trying to make Mariah jealous when Tessa called him out. He was just pointing out to Tessa that everyone makes mistakes, including her and she should give Mariah another chance because he thought Tessa and Mariah was the real deal.
More recently Tanner did admit he is hoping to rekindle their relationship

Yeah, Actually he told Tessa that even though he had a great girlfriend, he still fantasized about touring life on the road and how good it be with her and Tessa told him that that fantasy never stood a chance.
Yes I heard that. No one was saying that Tessa was interested in rekindling a relationship with Tanner. You had said that Tanner lied about trying to make Mariah jealous. Tanner had said he purposely tried to make Mariah jealous by making her think he and Tessa had something going on, as he was hoping to get back with Tessa. That was why Tanner was answering Tessa’s phone calls and texts.
Off topic of Y&R, but I have to say this whole pandemic is the craziest thing, I live in Las Vegas, and they closed all non-essential businesses for 30 days! That means every casino, restaurant except for take out retail stores that are not basically grocery or household items. My son is finishing his last two months at UNLV and switched to online. He works at a movie theatre, and was laid off while they closed 6-12 weeks. I have been trying to buy toilet paper with no luck for a week with no luck. I went to Walmart today… Read more »
I’m really sorry to hear that Lesley! I wish I could send some supplies your way, but I’ll send some love instead! Do you happen to have discount stores there in Vegas? Like Dollar Store, Dollar General, Five Below? I live in a low density population area, but I’ve been finding that those smaller stores have more supplies than the Walmart and the big box grocers, because fewer people have thought about checking there.
Oh yeah, and the ones I went to weren’t nearly as empty as Walmart, but still no paper products. My son is going when they open tomorrow, and I heard they have it then, it’s just freaky. Even baby wipes are gone.
Everything is shut down here in NY. We have over 5000 cases in the whole state. It’s damn scary. Media is crazy too, makes you feel like you can’t escape it no matter how much precautions you take. We are out of everything too. Long lines with nothing to buy. And Soaps shut down production . Y&R has maybe till May for new episodes. Will probably show repeats or special Episodes if Virus goes beyond that. Good luck to us all

The silver lining is (from Soaps in Depth): “Since B&B and Y&R tape approximately one month ahead, there shouldn’t be any interruption to the broadcast episodes — barring preemptions for breaking news coverage, of course — but obviously, if the production shutdown lasts longer than predicted, that could change.”
Pity we’re not DAYS OF OUR LIVES with more than 6 months in the can!
With that, we could battle Corona and then go on vacation after that with plenty still left to roll…

Hello All, I have watched Mariah’s apology scene to Tessa several times, because it sounded familiar to me. So low and behold, I found out why, this is the same speech Mariah said to Tyler when he found out that she cheated on him with his boss and then tried to black mail his boss to give Tyler back his job. Another thing, so Devon “temporarily” losing his billions was just to get us to the ending of Mariah and Tessa relationship, because that seems to be the only consequence.
There’s nothing about Sharon that says chemo. She had the energy to make Faith a huge breakfast (all her favorites) while baking a frosted lemon layer cake for Victoria. Her hair is as lustrous as ever. And still no port! Women going through chemo are watching this show. C’mon Y&R.
I think there are some days Sharon is weak and has side effects from the Chemo. I think the show wants to inspire and give hope to people with cancer. Might not always be realistic but it’s a great storyline and i think they are doing a decent job and Sharon is wonderful in her portrayal
I agree. I appreciate people wanting to give Sharon dark circles under her eyes, but there is time for that later… I’d like to be better informed on the bald head issue. Sharon’s cancer story seems mostly directed towards the emotional effects upon a person and family over a breast cancer public service message. Of course you have to have both. I hadn’t considered that Y&R wasn’t doing a great job with being informative, so we’ll see how this develops… Such a depressing thing, but my constitution brightens whenever recaps clue me in Sharon and this story is being featured… Read more »
