Z- here’s a 20 second preview for next week. Wonder why we didn’t get any previews this week.
No kidding! For the past 2 weeks, we had Thursday previews, but this week we had none. I hope Y&R isn’t phasing them out! I never cared for the ‘Previously on Y&R’ segments at the beginning of the show, but I think those Friday previews are awesome!
I think they are still catching up after recent preemptions, The previews are out of sync for what day they air
I was so annoyed by the missing items at Sharon’s. First of all, Sharon putting them out in the open for anyone to ask about, is insane. Why would she put herself into her position to have to answer that they are Adam’s gifts? Then more ridiculous is telling Faith she was looking for them. Faith could have easily asked where did you get them and from whom? I think Sharon is stealing these items herself and hiding them somewhere. Possibly making a shrine of her and Adam’s love. I think she is losing it because of all the Trouble happening with Faith because of her closeness to Adam .her refusal to leave him in the past even though she is married to Rey
I am enjoying Amanda’s character. I hope her relationship with Devon develops. I do hope Devon awakens and comes straight to Amanda about him and his ex. I hope he finally leaves his ex. She didn’t want him when she had him, now she wants him back. I hope Devon shows more wisdom than to go back to her. He has a good person in Amanda. I also hope the Director saw my earlier post requesting that they begin to change the wardrobe of the lady who works in Phyliss’s hotel. She has the same dress on everyday. Please change… Read more »
Am enjoying the show. However, am tired of Adam being cast as such a bad person. He is trying to be better. His entanglement is not only his fault, it is also Sharon’s fault. If he kissed her she kissed him too. She is always seeking him out just as much as he does her. Something has to happen to let Chelsea see Adam in better light. Don’t destroy their connection. Wow…Lola said she fired the busy boy who took the picture of Sharon and Adam kissing at Society. Lola means business. I was wondering how others feels about that? Is it too extreme? I do understand that Lola is sending the message to the busboy and all staff members that her family should be respected. On the other hand, I feel like Lola could have given the bus boy a warning instead of firing him. As Ali mentioned last week, if the kiss is in public, the picture is fair game. I am now confused, because didn’t Nick say it was the “girlfriend” of the busboy, that took the photo and “she” was suspended from school.
So I don’t see how it was fair to fire the bus boy.
I feel a claim for wrongful termination is required.
I think you are right. I forgot about that. If that is the case, than that is ridiculous! The busboy should not be fired for something his girlfriend did. That doesn’t make any sense.
Ali, every time I hear one of the characters say “Cyaxeries” I think about how you said it sounds like a prescription drug. It does! Your comment and commercial invitation for “Cyaxeries was funny last week.
Fit to be tied Sharon & Rey are getting home counciling at the cottage. Y&R take your budget cuts somewhere else! The therapy needs to take place in a proper office. White walls for greater clarity, only.
Sharon already thinks the whole thing is a joke… Family & friends dropping in with muffins not appropriate. Take your marriage and your problems seriously, people. Get out of the house and get your lives together.
You are so right. I don’t understand. How are all the other soaps still having no real changes. The closeness and the multiple sets still used on General Hospital, but not Y&R, it is confusing.
Sharod, when I first saw Sharon & Rey today at the cottage I thought to myself, they’re about to announce how they are going to be doing the therapy from their living room, and they did! Mariah popping in with Society take-out just at the point of S&R’s great moment of clariety is complete BS! I actually only saw 4 minutes of Y&R today and got distracted away, but I’ll watch it tomorrow. So weird! I think the show is great lately! The business story line with Victor & Adam as a team, Ashland Locke as a recurring character, Kyle has a son!, Jack is smiling & canoodling with Sally, Sharon & Rey finally laying it on the line in therapy then Rey keels over, and Chelsea & Chloe apparently teaming up to commit more crimes. I feel like YR has finally woken up after a long dormant period.
Rey didn’t fall asleep. He passed out .He is sick, came on suddenly. Maybe a way to get rid of Rey so Sharon can go back to Adam?
I think Lola was proving she was a true ally to Faith. Then Faith would continue to come to Lola when she needed her knowing she has her back

Devon and Elena’s shady sex sessions aren’t hot or endearing to me. I find the whole thing to be completely selfish sleazy on both their parts. Amanda deserves better, I hate seeing her get played like this.
I agree, if the writers wanted to have a couple be intimate on the show, they never should of broken them up.
I think Chelsea has been faking it all this time. She suspected Adam from the very beginning. Her suspicions got the better of her and that is the reason why she deceived everyone into believing she was paralyzed. During the evenings she used the secret passageways of the condo in order to avoid detection. That explains how she managed to break into the cottage without anyone realizing she was gone.
I don’t think it was the entire time. But probably for a very good portion now.
It was psychosomatic all belong, but the minute Chelsea saw Nick and Rey accuse Adam at the penthouse was the moment when all her pent-up emotions got the better of her. She could no longer maintain the illusion of paralysis in her subconscious and her fight or flight instincts took over. She decided she preferred to reek revenge against Adam rather than continued to play the helpless Barbie doll that needed to be fed, clothed and bathed 24 hours a day. No one instantly recovers from a stroke the way they are showing Chelsea supposedly has. A psychosomatic paralysis is a good theory, but even that is pretty far fetched. Ah well, anything is possible in Genoa Junction.
Dr. Nate should really get his pound of flesh out of Devon this time and by pound of flesh I mean broken hand for a broken hand.
So does Rey have Covid or is it something more life threatening like a poisoning? If it is a poisoning, there goes my theory that Lola is behind the stalking.
Violence solves nothing Dr. Z. But where is the remorse from Devon? He destroyed a surgeon’s hand with his stupid impulsive violent act. Zero real remorse as far as I’ve seen.
Rey has been poisoned. But I find it interesting that the symptoms they are having him describe is very similar to having Covid. Which Jordi V. actually had.
Chelsea’s revenge on Sharon? She is a cold-hearted con artist (with Chloe the unhinged felon as a side kick) after all.
Chelsea is not planning any revenge on Sharon. She is only trying to set up Adam.
If Rey is poisoned. I think it’s Sharon. I think she flipped out again but is covering well for now. As far as Covid the soaps don’t even recognize it’s real. I think that is a mistake. It would explain why no one kisses each other. hugs or stays 6 feet apart
I think Ashland is such a creep that if Victoria doesn’t sleep with him he will refuse to sell his company to her.
You may be right about that. I think he will probably give it to Adam and Victor.
So the Abbott-Newman Fued will begin again.

Here we go, down the Billy and Victoria rabbit hole again. Bah, bah, bah, I love you, bah, bah, bah, I hate you, bah, bah, bah, let’s break up. Do they really think this is compelling?
Very boring. I like seeing Victoria jealous of Lily. I really enjoy their rivalry. It is realistic that Victoria would be bothered by Lily and Billy’s relationship given Victoria’s history with Billy. Hearing Victoria tell Billy she is still in love with him is a whole different ball game. NOT exciting one little bit. So over and done with the 2 of them as a couple.

Wow, Sharon deflecting much. I said weeks ago that Rey and Tessa should get away from Sharon and Mariah. These two are too much about their needs. And fail most of the time to take in their partners feelings and considerations. Mariah giving Abby a present, for what. Should Tessa not be the one getting a gift for choosing to go through this journey with her.
Apparently it is too late for Rey. But Tessa, run girl, run.
At this point, I would cherish the story plot of her going on tour.
Sharon is not wrong about Rey never healing from what happened with Mia and Arturo. Rey wants to make this all about Sharon, but it’s not. You have to look at yourself too. Again, Rey wants life to be black/white—he thinks Adam is 100% evil therefore Sharon must obey him and cut off all contact. Guess what Rey—this is real life, your wife is a full human being who disagrees with your simplistic thinking and she doesn’t take orders from you. Ellen, We know you love Adam and I don’t think he is that bad of a guy. But, for me this is all about Sharon’s denial and lying about her feelings for Adam. And I think it may well be true what she said, regarding Mia and Aturo, but it is the timing of when she said it and why. She claims that Adam’s childhood was so traumatic and therefore he should be shown some compassion, that is why she felt she should be there for Adam. And he is all alone. This week’s episodes have actually been pretty good! I am totally into the main business storyline. The corporate stuff that Y&R leans into has always been interesting and I like that we’re seeing everyone’s competitive side. Side note: loved Victoria calling Nick the prettiest Newman!
They must have brought a comedy writer in. I’ve noticed a definite uptick in funny lines and funny moments lately. It’s great! Nick being the pretty one was such a good zinger coming from Victoria!
Yes, they have a new writer on staff. Her name is Susan Banks, she has been with CBS previously, then went on to other networks and has come back, to work on Y&R. Her first script credit started on Monday, March 1st, 2021.
Good to know! March has been quite entertaining.
Victoria is the ultimate chauvinist. Not to be tollerated at Newman/Locke.
