Could we not have put Victor’s secret escape door maybe down a second or third hallway at the ranch? . It’s literally right around the corner of the main living area of the house!! For every time someone walked down that one itty bitty short hallway to the secret door, I could totally have appreciated a second scene of them just walking down a second hallway. Bury that door just a little bit deeper within the ranch! The door also opens SO EASILY!!! You’re telling me that no one has accidentally bumped into that part of the hallway in all… Read more »

So many great little nuggets this week! Victor grabbing Jordan by the collar and slamming her into the bars was frightening! When he goes to the dark side he’s fantastic as the avenging villain /hero. The playful ease between Nick and Phyllis brings the best from both characters. Nick “gets” her.
Maybe eating brussel sprouts will give her the strength to bend the bars!

Looking to the previews for next week: one of Ashley’s personalities is asking if this is now the time to kill Tucker? I don’t think our Chatters want to lose Tucker; so he will have to be saved!! His character is intertwined with multiple other characters! Phyllis has run hot and cold with Tucker—she could come in to save him. Billy doesn’t “hate” Tucker; but he would have to go against Ashley to save him. Devon has been so bitter towards him; but would save his dad if the chips were down! Abby has been angry at Tucker for years;… Read more »

My favorite scene of the week is when Victor takes Jordan’s favorite dish to her in her dungeon jail cell! After Claire mentioned to Victor and Cole that she had never tasted brussels sprouts because Jordan hated them; Victor made sure to have a beautiful dish of the sprouts prepared for Jordan! Victor removed the cover of the serving dish and threw it behind him. Jordan asked that he take them away because she couldn’t breathe; but Victor reminded her that she asked him to expand her menu by bringing her some food! When Victor started to eat a sprout,… Read more »

On next week’s previews; Cole sees Victor emerging from a secret panel in the wall of the hallway at The Newman Ranch! Victor is carrying a lovely covered serving dish that is definitely enough to stir Cole’s curiosity! This is now a mystery Cole will have to solve!

So far, the writers have given Esther such a small role in the Genoa City storyline. However, when Esther is highlighted in the story; she is so enjoyable to watch!!

Great scene again between Summer and Kyle on Friday! He seemed to actually see her point of view when she tells him that Claire could not possibly change from a dire threat to a perfect saving grace for Harrison at the drop of a hat!!! However, at the end of the scene, he asks Harrison what he thought about Claire becoming his nanny!!?
Let’s see some more screen time between Nick and Phyllis! He seems to be warming up to her lately and not constantly making her feel bad about her past escapades. Hadn’t missed them until recently; but am enjoying the talks they have been sharing. Especially talking about when Summer was sick and they had to pull together and take care of her! Those two were really a “HOT” item in their time. Lately he always seems to be complimentary to her and her accomplishments! And he reminds her she does have a lot of good qualities. (And he didn’t forget… Read more »

Really Phyllis. Get a grip. Daniel created a game that largely benefits him and his daughter. He did not give “his all” to Chancellor Winters.
Phyllis is talking about getting revenge on Devon and Lily.
Well suppose they decided to get revenge on you for killing their Mother, Drucilla.

Another of my favorite soaps, General Hospital garnered a milestone in the show’s 81-years history. Stage 4 where they film was renamed in its honor. As of Wednesday May 16, there is a plaque that reads: The General Hospital Stage in honor of the iconic television drama’s 60th anniversary series debut April 1, 1963. The show has aired a remarkable 15,468 episodes. Congratulations to them and what an honor!!!
Oops..I erred….it is in its 61 years history,,,,truly my bad noted here(LOL)!!! Please forgive!!!

Oh Audra…I can see how you feel that Tucker always appears to put you and your/yours plans second to others. However, listen to your friend Sally not Nate!!! She, Sally, tried to get you to remember and think deeply about the situation as well as most of all, Tucker does love you. Audra……..slow down……take a deep breath……reconsider any rash plans….you’re a part of a much bigger plan and powerful place. Help Tucker in his quest this time and be there for him when his efforts to get a better place with his son fails…he will need you most!!! It’s just… Read more »
I DEFINITELY enjoy both the Audra and Tucker characters along w/the role each brings to YnR – separately and/or together. They’re soapy! and fun to watch! But can’t say I have much empathy for either character w/regard to… well, just about anything, lol. (Maybe? a bit for Tucker w/re: to Dom?) But I feel like Audra and Tucker each easily change their feelings about anything at… Idk, whim… or just the situation of the minute. Not sure I ever get genuine vibes from either one. So for me… shrug.
I so truly agree!!! Devon will not change his thoughts and feelings no matter what lengths Tucker will strive to go to get his approval and love…..the “goal post will constantly get moved” so the possibility of attaining any inroads with him will be moot. Devon expects understanding and forgiveness for his missteps as he made one with Abby recently; it was given yet he cannot see that it mattered that he was but cannot give even an inch to a father that cares regardless of his flaws and failings.

I’m worried about Daniel. I’m afraid he’s going to do something stupid like drive drunk or be so upset he blindly walks into traffic. He is sinking further into despair and seems on the edge of becoming the person he used to be (as opposed to NTPA).
Yes, it does look as though after Phyllis tried to give him a “better” way to see his life/fate, he left her still in a lost state dazed and feeling totally defeated. I see him “reverting to his past downfall ways”, and again losing his family over a moment of poor judgment. I hope Lily is able to get to tell him about the change she is thinking of making regarding his games before it is too late.

100% agree!!
My favorite scene of the week was when Phyllis says to Daniel, “I’m worried that your father has lost his mind.” – with a completely serious look!
Clearly the writers are playing with us, because Victor is the one who has LOST HIS MIND!
KAMNA, THIS WAS MY FAVORITE TOO!
To Aunt Jorden Howard: ‘You Gotta Eat Your Spinach (brussel sprouts), BABY…’)
Maybe eating brussel sprouts will give her the strength to bend the bars!

Audra will come around. Let Sally be your guide to your higher self. A once in a lifetime opportunity for the great Tucker McCall.
There’s no way Tucker will get back into Devon’s good graces by doing the thing that put him out of his good graces in the first place.
