In regards to young Sally’s expression of recognition..remember, Sally’s great aunt was The Sally Spectra (Diane Connolly) of B&B had a lot of connections to Genoa city…not all good!! Can’t wait to see what’s next!!
Greetings! I am new here. I have been watching since episode 1, 1973 , 5 yrs old. All the character changes and exits are difficult for the viewers. Just as we love em or hate em, they’re gone.

I seem to remember voting on board member assignments, even bringing in proxies and extras to fill the table, both at Newman and Jabot. Not just “pick me, pick me…….oh, okay.”
Pleased to learn on Thursday there is a last minute church(!) memorial for Rey! No time for Noah to create art invitations. The conclusion of the episode had it all set up for the next day (which is to be the same day on the show) but Friday switched to the Diane saga. Even being skeptical I am assuming that will play on Monday and this isn’t one more off camera event. They wouldn’t do that gag here, would they? Will be checking out Friday previews when I get to them.
Poor Rey , the idea of a memorial seems like afterthought for everyone. Sharon kept herself together for what purpose, to sit in the house in comfortable clothing? Keep yourself together so you can tend to these details!!
It would be nice and appropriate to have a memorial for Rey in GC. But should be seen not just talked about. After all the preparations being made should be seen!
I really find it interesting that Y&R believes showing love between two women in a love scene would be offensive but having a woman call another woman a b*+ch is not.
I dunno but it throws me off when they use the b words and other language. I mean is it necessary?! I just don’t like it. Victor, Nick & Phyllis are notorious for this. I’m sure there are other ways to express your distain. Soaps aren’t squeaky clean but I just feel the language sours it for me.
Can’t say I mind the ‘b’ word on YnR because people commonly use that word in real life. OF COURSE Phyllis… or Nikki…or Adam…(or anyone, really), would let that lovely term easily roll off his or her tongue. Oh… yo boy: NO commentary here on whether I think it’s ‘ok,’ because lol, who cares, right?? Yeah, yeah, writers need to listen to fans, yeah, yeah, whatev: daytime TV has survived for DECADES, despite fan ‘druthers.’ For me, I wish Daytime would relax what I find as rather stilted, out-dated standards to present more realistic characters and dialogues. I wish Diane would give a hint how she’s staying basically ageless. But for a little grey in her hair and a few wrinkles around her eyes, she looks the same as in the flashbacks. Maybe Ashland can quit moping once he sees Diane!

Maybe I’m reading too much into Sally’s expression upon seeing Diane, but it looked like a flash of recognition…….what a fun turn of events that would be……Sally having scoop on Diane’s LA shenanigans.

What a cool idea (which means the show won’t do it)! I like it. Maybe they share some history. That would give Sally a connection because right now she doesn’t have any except being Adam’s love interest. But the town already dislikes Sally & if she had a history with Diane they’d probably dislike her even more. Adam, Sally, Ashland & Diane: the town pariahs. What if Ashland, Adam, Sally and Diane formed a company as a way to really stick it to the Newmans. Take that you hypocritical Newmans!

I disagree Jack. Choosing to fake her death and not see her son for many years wasn’t the right choice, Couldn’t Diane have decided to stay and face her bad decisions? Wasn’t that the option she should’ve taken?
Let the Inquisition begin. Loved seeing the same look on the Abbotts faces as they stared down Diane. Can’t wait.
The way Chelsea described her feelings for Rey was suspicious. All she did was describe how he treated her.

Hello everyone! I’m back. I was off the board because we had our Muslim holy month of Ramadan so I spent less times on frivolous activities (make no mistake I love Y&Rchat). Well tried to anyway. I did watch some Y&R but not as much as usual & didn’t listen to any podcasts. Now it’ll be fun to catch up. I’m the part right after the car crash.
BTW if you’re an Adam/Sally fan your in for some sizzle tomorrow! I’m so excited but behind so I have to wait patiently. Missed you all!

Aww thanks Sue! I didn’t think people were that interested in my comments as they are more on the surface, I’m that indepth & articulate (looking at you Gary). Anyway, right now I’m watching the immediate aftermath of the car crash. Why’d they have to kill Rey. Tossed him out like trash because they didn’t know what to do. They could have sent out a survey to the fans, I’m sure we had s/l ideas. On the plus, it does give SC some meaty material. I know May is sweeps month. Y&R gave us three surprises. First, Crystal will be coming to the wedding and Rey secretly had charges dropped and “bad” guys jailed; Next, Ashland offered to give New Hope half of his blood money and designate the money be an honor of Rey Rosales; and Lastly, a new portrait for Victoria. It feels more like “little broom month”. No big explosions here.
Lol, I agree w/your current ‘little broom’ assessment thus far. First, the positive: Looove Victoria’s new portrait! Now the negative: stories seem stagnant? The post-mortem Rey accolades are already past enough for me: tired of Sharon’s lamenting, along w/the self-talk (call me insensitive, but I can only grieve so long for a not-real, dead person.) Tired of hound-dog Ashland’s groveling for Victoria’s forgiveness. Tired of Phyllis’ snarking about Diane, and running defense for Jack.
