https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7U_c_Yq4dso I really enjoyed the classic flashbacks of Victor and NIkki. I thank you Ali for that as you have mentioned that you appreciate the flashbacks and we know someone at Y&R is listening. I found this interesting youtube clip as the classic flashback clips got me interested in finding more. This youtube clip is quite interesting as many of the characters are on Phil Donahue including Bill Bell and Jeanne Cooper. There is a clip of Doug Davidson dressed as a woman as well as Cricket being sexually assaulted by Derek which is hard to watch. Lauralee Bell talks… Read more »

I just watched Thursdays episode where Tara was telling Ashland that she had many parties at the house while Ashland was away on business. This was my theory that I mentioned last week when I said that Theo could possibly be the father. A Y&R fan had speculated Theo being the father on a facebook fan page. I added my own spin on how this may have played out when I said that Tara could have had a dinner party one night that Theo attended and then left something behind at Tara’s place. Theo then goes back to Tara’s place… Read more »

Hello Chatters, A can you imagine. Apparently last August when contract negotiations were failing with Christel Khalil, Y&R had a casting call and Courtney Hope was hired. But eventually Khalil and Y&R came to an agreement. And when Courtney Hope was introduced she was playing her old role of Sally Spectra. I wonder if she was going to play Lily.
You’re right. Tara does act like her in some ways. They both have that very calm demeanor. Cassandra’s husband was much older than Ashland. He was old enough to be her father.
I don’t like her look. She looks so dead. She’s both super pale & her eyes are red. Has to be the makeup. Why not give her a fake tan like the others: Abby, Phyllis. The character seems so flat & seem much older than Kyle. Or Kyle looks like such boy next to her.
Fake tan, lol. But maybe Tara’s not a fake person, double lol! Phyllis and Abby always look great,, but clearly go to great lengths to present so beautifully. Tara appears more effortlessly confident and not much caring if others like her pale skin or not.
I am with you on her look. I don’t like her eyes. Cassandra Rawlins was very beautiful.

I do feel like a judge could grant Ashland joint custody of Harrison. Ashland didn’t know Harrison wasn’t his son and he raised Harrison believing he was his father. It would be similar to a child being adopted and even though they are not biologically related to their parents, they are still their parents. Tara could not be granted full custody because she chose to hide who the true father is and that fact alone might not look good in court.

Miss Tara is a sneaky snake! My heart is so sad for Summer right now, it’s one thing to see Kyle instantly spring into dad mode, it’s a whole new mess of emotions seeing him get cozy with Tara and being super protective of her.
I’m just not getting the “sneaky snake” feels about Tara. What am I missing? Um, well ok, she diid have an affair and hide her son’s paternity… although I do think she felt warranted in both having the affair and hiding the paternity, just as she feels she is doing what is best now. I just don’t see malicious intent from her, and find myself continuing to warm to her character. I seem to be in the minority, though, so maybe I have a completely wrong read on this woman!
I think she has mastered the art of portraying herself as a doe eyed, lonely socialite trapped in a gilded cage with a powerful and cruel husband. The reality seems to be much different. So far Ashland has proven to be pretty tame and he, by all accounts, is a wonderful father to little Harrison. When Jack confronted him about attacking Jabot recently, he was genuinely in the dark about it all. I really think Tara orchestrated the attack. Not sure what Tara is really after, but lurking behind her carefully crafted facade, is a person capable of deceit and… Read more »
I agree that Tara is not the victim here. I think Kyle is the victim whether Tara is working alone or with Ashland I think she is the one who is the monster too, not Ashland. Maybe this is something she does all the time. She is the one who brought her son there to shake up Kyle”s life but why? They don’t need money. Is she that determined to teach Ashland a lesson by taking his son away from him just because she felt ignored. There is more to her and this situation that I think Kyle is going… Read more »
i don’t remember Tara giving a reason as to why she had an affair. She mentioned that Ashland had never been violent and that he was a good dad. I don’t know what the reason was that Tara felt warranted in cheating on Ashland for a long period of time. That seems like the ultimate betrayal in a marriage. If you’re not happy, you move on. She has never said that Ashland was abusive.
Did you get to see Thursday’s episode? According to Tara she felt unloved because Ashland was, since the end of their honeymoon, laser focused on his businesses and not her.
Yes, and I believe Ashland wanted the marriage to end and efused to discuss it? Still taking Tara at face value… clearly a cheater, but I just don’t get what her agenda could be beyond what she claims.
No I had not seen it when I made this comment. I just watched it now. My apologies to Sue. I am glad we got some clarification on why Tara cheated. What doesn’t make sense is why Tara would not have expressed her feelings to Ashland before? It seems this is the first time he is hearing how Tara felt because Tara never mentioned that it was something they had talked about before. Keeping your feelings bottled up and having an affair is not the answer.

I appreciated the conversation that Jack had with Summer. Even though Jack is excited about being a grandfather and supporting his son, he took the time to sympathize with Summer. He treated her like a mature adult who can make her own decisions. He reinforced Kyle and Summer’s history and told her he has faith their relationship will endure and she will be an amazing mother. Rightly so, Summer is very concerned about everything moving too quickly. Question is will she be able to hang in there, or will Tara get her way and Summer cuts her bond with Kyle.

Did Adam tell Victor let’s stick a pin in it about the Billy revenge plot because he really wants to change, and Victor won’t change?
So summer supposedly still owns a condo in the same building that Billy and Billy live in I wonder if the whole point of them moving in there is that summer, phyllis, or both are going to move back into her place and it will cause problems for Lily and Billy.

I would love for Summer to get pregnant and announce it to Kyle during this time just to see how that twist would play out. Kyle is all about Harrison and Tara, but if Summer got pregnant he would have to then balance another child coming his way as well. I would find it very entertaining.

I find it funny that a couple of months ago the deal Ashland made to Tara to cut Kyle Andy he Abotts out of Harrison life is exactly what they wanted. Kyle and Tara to avoid any contact with one another. But now that Kyle has met Harrison it is a complete different story. If Kyle could have heard this offer before Summer and his engagement party they would have been all for it. Funny how that works.
“Fisticuffs” is such a great word, but I have yet to see them come to blows and it seems a little late in the game for that. What in the world was the matter???

That would have been terrible casting!
For weeks I couldn’t put my finger on it, and now I finally did. Tara gives me Cassandra Rawlings vibes!

Yes. You are correct about both Adam and Victor.
Yay, Michelle Morgan is back!!!!
So summer supposedly still owns a condo in the same building that Billy and Billy live in I wonder if the whole point of them moving in there is that summer, phyllis, or both are going to move back into her place and it will cause problems for Lily and Billy.

Tara keeps on repeating how good a father Ashland is. It seems to me he is the one getting the raw end of the deal.
All right! Finally fisticuffs between Adam and Rey.
“Fisticuffs” is such a great word, but I have yet to see them come to blows and it seems a little late in the game for that. What in the world was the matter???
Imani: “I’m gonna stick on you like crazy glue.”
I think Tara should take the deal.
Agreed
