Poor Abby! I don’t think Chance is dead but it will be a long time before he remembers who is and returns to Genoa City. By that point Devon will have married Abby for the sake of Dominic and after bonding over the grief of losing a spouse. Sutton will do something that put Amanda in a coma or witness protection leaving Devon and Abby free to fall in love.
I do think Devon and Abby will become at least partners. As history plays in Soaps, Chance will probably reappear at some point in time.
Mariah needs therapy. Why is no one encouraging her more to get it?
I don’t but any of what Jesse Gaines is selling. No wonder gambling ruin Billy he can’t tell when he’s getting played. Then Victoria being concerned about the kids. I think something is going to happen with this plot that negatively effects the kids.
This is all part of Victor and Adams plan. Gaines is doing what they told him to do and yes Billy will lose this fight and Chance com . Poor Lily she will be dragged down with Billy
Victor and Adam will prevail but maybe Lily will hop ship to the Newman side of town.
I agree. With the newly licensed Phy Sharon you’d think she would recognize that need.
Phyllis and Nick’s argument made me so sad to watch. Relationships are hard and it’s worst when you have outside voces magnifying the doubts you already have. Having had marital issues before it’s never a good idea to bring them to someone you know wants you for themselves.
Nick and Phyllis always had a fun relationship not serious maybe because Nick still feels guilty after all this time how they got together and hurting Sharon
Look at the dark life Billy Boy has forced on Lily. She need to return to prison (as an employee) to save her soul!
Wait! The great Adam just made a job offer to Lily!
It looks like Adam is working both ends to bring Billy down. First he is destroying Billy’s career at ChancComm and second he is going after his love life by luring Lily away.
Who doesn’t love Victoria as she goes about the charming, sly business of forgiving Nick at Society’s bar while awaiting takeout?

Their best scene ever! What Chats missed this due to preemption? Look for the flashback on Monday’s episode so Y&R can kill some time! (time = money)
Haven’t seen it yet due to C. Powell funeral. It’s not on “on demand”, once again will bribe said son with Sunday dinner to use his Paramount Plus. I must get my own subscription because I want to listen to CHAT today, but won’t until I see Friday’s show.

Devon should have made Sutton strip down for hidden tape #2. It is immaterial that Hillary is going after Sutton due to vindictiveness with she having the evidence. Prosecutite him. Win a conviction. On camera.
I had the exact same thought! That Sutton had multiple recording devices!
For all the pot shots we are now taking at Devon one has to appreciate his lone voice in speaking the truth about a man named Chance Chancellor who dumped his new bride and possible expent baby to go running off to war without so much as a fast goodbye as he went racing on the door!

I totally agree with Devon. Glad he brought it up that Chance didn’t have to do this. He shouldn’t have went on this mission being newly married and wanting to have a baby with Abby. She went through all of this alone and now she lost him for good. At least until his character is recaast!

Look for him to give Chance Chancellor the riot act upon his return! And then raise his own baby!
The stage is set for conflict between D & CC!
I will be conflicted because I resent Devon butting in as the sperm donor where he did not belong, yet he’s certainly got Chancees number, so let the chips fall where they may.
Maybe…all along, the real drama in the surrogacy storyline was meant to be between Devon and Chance, and not so much between Abby and Mariah.
I know I have said this before but I wanted to mention my wish again as the opportunity is there. I would love to see Christine and Nick become romantically involved. I know I am the only person to want this so I would like to plead my case by keeping it plain and simple! Paul is no longer on the show, Christine. is hot and single and so is Nick so it seems. Unfortunately, Dianna, Christine, an apparently retired woman is too busy with career. All business and unable to love, I believe. On the plus side, Doug Davidson if fed up with Y&R for good, but given contemporary Y&R storytelling she could make a smooth transition by breaking up with him and divorcing him completely off camera! Its the modern way.
Christine needs a balance of work and romance. We hardly see her smile. She always looks so serious. Nick is just the guy to help Christine relax, laugh and enjoy life to it’s fullest! I never thought of this until now, but Phyllis would be so jealolus! This would spark Cristine and Phyllis’s rivalry again. I would love to see that!
Oh, right! You are thinking of that past kiss to bring Nick & Christine together where we have forgotten the real point – this would drive Phyllis into another murderous rampage again!
Great comment on the always dire, poker faced Christine. She hardly seems like a real person at all. Who could ever imagine pert, cute, sweet Cricket would become Y&R’s ultimate downer? it is extremely hard to imagine Nick & Christine together, but he would be the perfect fun antidote to reawaken her. Great idea.
I am dreading Nick possibly getting with Sharon again. And hating the thought of a Nick and Sally connection. But Nick and Christine would be really interesting. We have to see how creative the writers can be with that couple.
Y&R must hate that they can never use any flashbacks of Abby and Chance. Abby’s whole dream sequence we of course never see Chance and all of his promises to Abby. We don’t even hear his voice. I am surprised Y&R didn’t try and use another actor’s voice that sounds similar to Chance with the southern accent. Just hearing Abby talk about Chance and their relationship is not very exciting to me. It has become so redundant and boring hearing Abby and all of the characters constantly talking about Chance the guy we never see.
Dianna, the fact that Donny Boaz was not included in the flashback is a possible indication that Chance is coming back. If Chance was not returning then the producers were free to use old footage of Donny Boaz in the flashback sequences. If, however, a new actor was cast as Chance, then not only were they excluded from the possibility of using him in the flashbacks, because that would reveal the secret, they could not utilize old scenes of Donny Boaz as well.
And Abby’s tour of the town with Chance in her dream fell flat, a complete dud because of those factors.
Yes that is the reason we don’t see flashbacks of Chance. They know they will be using a new actor.
Devon being at the mansion and worrying about Abby and the baby are exactly the reason a sperm donor should be anonymous and have no emotional attachment to the baby and mother. Devon spends way too much time devoting his time and energy to Abby’s life that it is slowly interfering with Devon’s life. This is definitely going to cause problems for he and Amanda’s freshly new relationship as they just started living together. Amanda is being understanding for now, but how long can she stand to see Abby and Dominic always being the top priority in Devon’s life.
Exactly! When Abby lost control for a second and tried to throw everyone out of the Chancellor mansion so she could be alone but then relented, Mom & Dad should have been allowed to stay in the kitchen, but Devon needed the boot! Go back to your own life. Mr. X was the approperate sperm donor, not Devon. (Actually Stitch Reyburn)

Is “Sally Spectra style” catching on?!? Just when I say Sharon can do no wrong… what’s w/her saggy chartreuse sweater, weird crunchy skirt, and clashing brown (suede?) go-go boots? Sharon is sooooo lovely, so of course pulled it off (like she could in a burlap bag), but the vibe seemed more suited for Faith (or that wild ‘n fun Sally!) And Nikki- really?? A blue tiger-print blouse and bright blue full-sequined skirt?? Another Sally look… what is going on?!? Oh yeah! Marcia Brady, for sure! (But for the cleavage, lol.) Which is great… if you’re 16… and it’s 1970… so just missin’ the mark, like Sally does time and time again!! But gosh – Sharon and Nikki- allllways gorgeous, regardless.

It is ridiculous that Jesse Gaines would waist his valuable time now trying to get revenge on Adam and the Newmans. Yes, he got dragged about but has he no self awareness to see he had it coming? Forget revenge on people you hardly know. Gaines pettiness towards the folks in Tuscany gives insight to his pettiness with Ashland. So mom (dad) always liked you best.
