Sadly I am saying “good bye” to Y&R Chat. I have enjoyed it immensely! My decision to leave is based on the “Re Do”, if you will, of the “Who Said It Game”. I hate it ! Ali, your work with the site is phenomenal ! Take a bow! Upon trying to submit my quote [Elena], it gave me the correct quote before I made my guess??????? Maybe I’m just a dumb ass and I did something wrong??? Anywho, I’m done and I take pride in being the “Undisputed KING of Quote!” HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL !

Henry, so incredibly sorry to hear you are leaving!! I know you are deservedly proud of your “Undisputed KING of Quote” status. But I sincerely hope you remain also very proud of all your great
and insightful comments, your influential comments, funny entries, and the unselfish praise you give to other Chatters’ comments. I have always appreciated your kind comments on the comments I have offered. Thank you. God bless.

I’m going to offer good news/bad news for our fearless leader Ali – the bad is there are glitchy things about this website – login trouble and disappearing game submissions. The REALLY GOOD NEWS is we overwhelm the server during certain times when lots of chat friends are on the website! Keep up the great work Ali! I guess what I’m trying to say is – you have created a very fun website that is enjoyed by many, many Y&R fans. Thank you!

Everyone seems to be looking for Phyllis to have her showdown scene with Sharon. For me, I can’t wait for her to see Michael. Will she clean his clock or rip out his heart with guilt….probably both and then some. Those two characters will always bring it and those two actors will amaze us.

I don’t know why Jack didn’t do a better job explaining to Billy why he couldn’t hire him at Jabot? Jack could have said a little more so that Billy understood it wasn’t anything to do with Jack not wanting to hire Billy or not having confidence in his skills and abilities to run the company alongside Jack. Jack knows how upset his brother was after what his mother did. Jack probably could have even told Billy the truth about what he and Diane are doing. I am pretty sure Billy would keep it confidential. It’s a little silly to… Read more »

I think Jack didn’t want to offer Billy co CEO because he is going to offer it to Kyle if Diane keeps Glassade

I really liked the background scene of Jack and Diane sitting on the park bench talking. It is a refreshing change from the same outdoor park set where we only see some flowers, vines and lattice fence. We get to see the fall trees, people, cars and grass in the background. It is very much appreciated.

I don’t understand why Nick once again has so much animosity towards Adam? They were in a good place and now it seems that Nick despises his brother once again. I mentioned this a while ago as well. What did Adam do that was so terrible since Nick and Adam’s reunion of brotherhood. They have been working well together and then all of a sudden it seems Nick went back to his same old attitude towards Adam without any cause of action. I can understand Nick wanting to defend Sharon but it seems that he has a lot of anger… Read more »

Nick was in a better place with Adam but when it comes to Sharon, Nick is jealous of Adam’s past with Sharon. And Adam is going to show Sharon support this week. He knows what it’s like to kill someone, to be the pariah of GC. He is the only one that can support her on that level.

One thing that bothers me about the new Newman Ranch set is the little area to the left of the front door looks exactly like the Athletic Club front Lobby by the door. The area where the coat check is. It looks too similar and therefore reminds of that area of the Athletic Club every time I see it. I don’t want to think about the Athletic Club when I am at the Newman Ranch. It seems minor by at the same time it is kind of ruining the experience of enjoying the new ranch set. I want to feel… Read more »

Did anyone notice that Phyllis wasn’t wearing any eye makeup before she drove to see Sharon in her car? It looked so odd as she always wears eye makeup. Now I know why. It was to give her that added dramatic effect for the hospital scenes. She looked kind of spookyish in those scenes when she woke up. At one point she reminded of Sissy Spacek in the movie ‘Carrie”. The no makeup really did the trick to add intensity to her scenes with Chance!

Those are some scary contact lenses Michelle Stafford is wearing. I want to yell, “ Those lights are too bright. Look at her pupils. Hasn’t she suffered enough.” Michelle Stafford is doing a tremendous job of acting overjoyed and outraged in the same episode. Writers, keep it coming.

It will be satisfying that after Victor castigates Sharon for what she has done for him to learn it was actually his own Aunt Jordan who did it all. Aunt who he was not able to get under control on her last visit.. If, it WAS Jordan who did it. WHAT? H&8$#CSXXX!! I just hope he, Victor, doesn’t harp on the fact of how Sharon hanndled the situation once it was dumped on her. ie: throwing Heather overboard & framing Daniel.

Phyllis is BACK! She is so mad and so intense! Loved it! When she sees Sharon it will be the fight of the century! She tore Chance a new one for his horrible policing blunders – AND he was there not 5 minutes after she opened her eyes from her second coma to ask her questions. He might want to go back to the business world.

Billy better keep his hands off Sally’s butt or they will be in Y&R HR for a talk. haha Adam couldn’t believe his eyes when they came down the GCAC steps.

Whatever Sharon has done I look for her to clobber Phyllis. Sharon has already put Phyllis in a comma twice & she can do it again! Put Phyllis in prison for not obeying all laws while on parole.

Rumor has it that Ian is back for Mariah and Jordan is back for Claire. WHY? Why are the both not back for Victor? I know Camryn Grimes and Hayley Erin are Besties in real life and they wanted to do a storyline together. But this, Really.

Those villians have lost their focus. Its going to be hard for Aunt Jordan to go back to raising Claire given she is 24/7 on the lamb. Apparently Ian Ward has served his sentence of what – life?, and is now back in the playing field. Well, Mariah doesn’t want him and if Ian is honest with himself, does he really want her??? ITS crazy. Ed Scott, are you responsible for any of this?

Chance is and should be on the hot seat for his investigation fails. Any detective that arrested the wrong person and left the guilty person at large shouldn’t be saying, I wouldn’t do anything differently. All professionals must self evaluate and know that you can always improve. His arrogance is going to end his romance with Summer if he doesn’t admit his mistakes and who could blame her?

GC’s Finest (along w/Newman Security) are generally of the Keystone sort. (Sorry to the Paul and Rey fans still out there.) But they are an earnest sort, and usually very handsome… those qualities go a long way!

So true! We have lost integrity in that role of the trusted public servant and crime buster. I wish the writers would let Chance be that guy. I had hopes after he came back from the corporate world, but this was a fiasco and he seems clueless about his part.

Chance did his job, followed the evidence he had at the time. BUT, he should have investigated Sharin better, he was biased about her.

Billy filled Jack in on his termination from Abbott-Chancellor. He then plead his case to Jack. First, Billy listed the many ways he admires Jack. Next, he told Jack how he had learned so much from him. Finally, Billy asked Jack if he could fill the empty position and run Jabot by his side, Jack grimaced and said nothing. I felt for Billy as the silence stretched on. Of all people, Billy would never tell Victor Jack’s plan. Jack should trust Billy and tell him Diane is not leaving. Jack is his big brother and should look out for him.… Read more »

When Billy finds out the Jack trusts Claire (who IS a Newman) with the scheme more than him, Billy will be profoundly hurt. Especially when Billy confided in Jack about Billy’s aspirations or even plans to get back at Victor.
