The scenes between Adam and victor amazing. It had to be painful for victor to watch his son fall apart. Adam feels like this was Victor’s way of controlling him like victor likes to do with all his kids. Adam needs help but forcing him would make his recovery worse. I have a feeling he is going to fake his recovery so victor can get him released and it’s back on the revenge
Those were good scenes. Victor saw how sick Adam is, seeing his younger self and talking with to him in front of Victor, is not helping his case.

Mariah’s attire was “KILLER!” That dress was clinging to all the right places! (MONDAY’S SHOW / NOV. 30).

I am looking forward to Theo suing the Abbott’s for Dina’s estate. I can’t help but wonder what the outcome will be? I hate how Kyle is always griping about Theo like a spoiled little brat. I hope Theo get more than just the pen and then leaves town. I would like an outcome that will allow Theo to come back on the show anytime. Maybe Theo will get enough of an inheritance that would allow him to start his own little company that could compete with Jabot somehow in the future.
I enjoyed the scenes with Nate and Devon at the apartment. It really was unexpected. It was funny when Devon asked Nate if he would be able to help load the dishwasher and Nate made a funny remark about having to use one hand. I like that Y&R is bringing some humor to the story line.
The scene with Summer and Billy at the mansion for Thanksgiving where Summer tells Billy she still hates him, reminded me that Nick still doesn’t know what happened between them. Will NIck ever find out how Billy used Summer to make Phyllis jealous by sleeping with her! It would be very interesting to see how NIck would react to this information. Phyllis can use this to her advantage if she ever needs to blackmail Billy for anything, which I am sure she will one day. NIck would be livid to know that Billy and Summer had a one night stand… Read more »
It seems we are only allowed to remember Adam’s misdeeds. Billy, Chloe, Kevin, Michael, Nikki, Phyllis, etc have all been redeemed and just exist to sit in judgment of how evil Adam is.
I would, Gary the Guest, but I have to be very motivated to offer this kind of defense/PR for a client. Adam is special to me. I’m not sure I could be as passionate about other clients. Maybe Theo. BUT THEY ARE TAKING HIM AWAY FROM ME.
That suffragette costume was, ummm, interesting? I wouldn’t think of Mary as a women’s rights crusader by any stretch of the imagination. The YR writers must have been poking fun at the viewers and/or the character?

On Wednesday’s episode, I counted two separate references to Maime. You don’t hear that name quite as often as I think we should. First it was Jack in the opening scene talking about how Maime always said the hardest thing about coordinating a big feast was the timing. So true. I wish someone would say where Maime went. What ever happened to Maime?
I can’t picture a masquerade ball on today’s 2020 YR. It is quite a throwback, and seems so quaint. It is also unsettling to be back in the “classic” episodes. Remember when that’s all we had??? It was a dark and stormy time for Chatter World. When would we get new episodes? I’m thankful we are back in our current, if awkward/socially distant timeline. Oh, and I’m still mad that they killed off Dr. Scott Grainger. I really can hold a grudge. My Theo grudge will probably be eternal.
My channel didn’t air the masquerade ball. I got a local parade. But, I think that episode was one of the very first throwback classics we got in the Spring. Maybe even before Katherine the Great week.

Don’t worry. After Theo runs off with the family emerald, they will drag him back.
I hope so!
Theo will be back. He was an interesting character and will be missed. I can’t see him getting Dina”s estate, but will probably leave town.
With Graham!

Don’t think Nate was trying to be funny. He was throwing a dig at Devon
I think it was both.

Forget law and get into PR

Good point
Adam will be redeemed eventually. He left and came back too many times already. They can’t keep him pure evil for too long
Nothing stays a secret on soaps, Nick will find out eventually and there will be hell to pay
The Thanksgiving episode was so comforting – just what I needed! And two weddings to look forward to over the dark days of winter.
Traci’s got bone structure for days! Wow those cheekbones
A costume switcharoo? Just what the doctor ordered!
Brenda Epperson was my favourite. I loved it when she prounounced husband as “hudbant”
Whoa! It’s Mary “Nosy Parker” Williams!
She used to drive me nuts!

Yes! I wish someone would have mentioned what Maime is up to these days. In my mind, she’s on the deck of a cruise ship right now.
What did happen to Maime? Did she win a lottery or something?
No Victor—it’s THAT boy Ryan, not THIS boy Ryan. Get your shady nickname right.
HA!

HA!
And that is why Genoa City can never hold another costume ball.
I am surprised Rex never made a move on Esther.
