I wish Y8R would have Nick’s son Christian be on the show from time to time. He is turning into Mrs. Martinez. A ghost we never see. I think the last time we saw him he was locking up Connor in the garage..lol. I think it would add a lot more depth to Nick’s character.. We always see Nick in the same light all the time; business man, brother to Victoria and Abby, son of Victor and Nikki, and “lover’ of course. We never Nick the “dad”. It would be nice to see Nick being a dad. We only ever… Read more »
Actually it was the other way around. Connor was the one that locked Christian in the garage.

Happy Thanksgiving! May you have a drama free day, unless it’s a soap opera drama. Be well and have a blessed day my Y&R chatter friends!

I might not have been fully paying attention but who was that women standing in the background at the the end of the Thanksgiving episode at the Newman ranch while Victor and Nikki were giving their speech? Was she hired to guard the family’s coats as they entered and left the ranch?
If you could pick one family on Y&R to join for Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner who’s would it be. I always feel like the Abbott home feels cozy and warm to join for dinner. Also the Abbott dinner would have Traci and Ms. Martinez cookies or desserts.
Love Ashley, Traci, and Alan at the Jabot mansion! But my main love is Victor! (Have loved Eric Braeden since “Rat Patrol” which really dates me, lol. And when he was in the Planet of the Apes movies!) So I will always carry a torch for Victor! And also, I love the ranch decor the best; even though on Wednesday the Abbott mansion was so beautiful in so much orange, especially on the fireplace!!
Being at the new ranch with the Newmans would be a flashback in itself. However, I would love to spend time with the Abbotts. I’d see the incredible love Jack and Diane have for each other. Ask them about their favorite date and funny moment. See Ashley’s elegance and ask about her time in Paris, when she was running a company there. Give Traci a big hug and talk about her favorite novels and plot devices. It would also give me a chance to see if I can deduce if Alan is really Martin. I hope not. I’d speak with… Read more »
Victoria, I feel Ashley is a mean kill joy. I question if she is fully well and wonder if she might go back to Paris for a tune up? “Should i throw her (Diane)out of the house for you, Jack?” You go.
I agree Ashley is steadfast in her contempt for Diane. She would probably celebrate with Nikki and Phyllis if Diane left town. I don’t think she is a total killjoy. She has her reasons for her frustration. Jack’s attitude toward her at Jabot and her disappointment in her failed marriage with Tucker. She is happy to be around Abby and Traci.

I think Diane’s Thanksgiving sentiment melted Kyle’s heart a bit. They should have let him have that job from the start. Don’t forget, he agreed that Diane should take the position initially. He obviously changed his mind. And when Harrison raised his glass to drink to “family”, his “juice” looked the same shade as the adult’s wine. hmmm? The Newman Ranch was beautiful again as we expected. When she gave Conner and Chelsea the tour of the place, they walked off sent through the 4th wall, which I thought was strange. Are we only seeing half of that living area?… Read more »

I am convinced Sharon is not responsible for the accident which lead Phyllis to hospital. While there was a confession, the circumstances of the accident are murky. Chance needs all the help he can get, here it is. I will rely only on what Chance actually knew or should have known. Firstly, Sharon confessed that she was at the crash site after her car stalled. She saw Nick and Chance dragging Phyllis out of the burning car before she slinked off. She said she had been driving home from Genoa City, blacked out and ended stalled after the crash. Chance… Read more »

Like Billy said to Phyllis, “You hate Victor as much as I do!” Thanks, Billy, for asking Phyllis to join you in taking down the great Victor Newman! Tread lightly because Victor has been knocked down many times in the past by many different people and still always rises to the top!!

Kudos to Claire! She told Victor, to his face, that he thinks he knows what best for people instead of giving them a choice in the matter. She was respectful as well as bold and brave. I felt a tide turning in their relationship until she took the job.

Niki’s hair looks great! And yes, Ali, she does look 20 years younger. The hair helped, but that she is happy and smiling (rarely seen in soaps) lifts her face. Everyone looks great smiling.
Although Victor had an open wound on his head! No one commented on it. I guess Eric Braden had a little accident.
Just like Billy said to Phyllis, “You hate Victor as much as I do!” Thanks, Billy, for asking Phyllis to come on board with you when you attempt to take Victor down! We all know she will be happy to help you in any way she can! But we also know that Victor can be knocked down for a time; but he always rises to the top.
Yes she does. Do you remember when Jack and Phyllis were married and Victor arranged to have Jack kidnapped and replaced with an identical double? The double was in the house and their bedroom for months before it all came out. Phyllis was understandably out of her mind with anger.
Good times.

Well, there is a new serial killer on the loose in GC. Keep your orchids away from Nikki. I’m shocked Nick is providing a new victim a week. Scary!
The hospital monitor screen caps show Phyllis is improving! Last week, BP 100/54, respiration 37/min and shallow lead me to wonder if Dr. Elena would offer her an organ donor card. This week heart rate 71, BP 140/73, respiration 17/min and more normal. A bit of stage 2 hypertension, but at least she isn’t bleeding out. Dr. Google suggests lifestyle changes: Exercise regularly, manage stress, limit alcohol, and get enough sleep. Instead Dr. Billy is prescribing joining a battle royale with Victor. With any luck we will get a new AC green screen for Phyllis to ride a recumbent bike… Read more »
You are on it, Stephen. Keep an eye on Phyllis’s vitals so we will be informed. Great observations.

Fashion and makeup alert…Love that pink blouse on Esther and those sleeves really made it stand out…Hate those pants on Sharon, they remind me of those tacky red snap jeans from the early seventies. Shoutout for making Phyllis look like a car wreck victim. I’m curious how they will transition her back to vixen.

In the interest of posting something I will say I was completely taken aback to see not knowing what to do with herself Sharon report to Crimson Lights for work today. Esther was clearly jittery to be in the presence of “a stone cold murderer”, not wanting to put her foot in her mouth but longtime fans know how that goes with her. Luckily for her, Sharon released Esther to go home early leaving Sharon completely in the dark. How many customers was Sharon able to serve today and who ran from the premises screaming into the night? Not a… Read more »

As people were entering the ranch, she was putting coats away. Not sure what her title would be. Makes me miss Miguel all the more.
Thank you!

So Nick is right on top of the inconsistencies in the Sharon story. Where do Chatters think this story will be by Christmas?
Gary, thanks for the morning chuckles.
