Chance is now going to work at Chancellor/Winters, confident that he can succeed since Katherine had no experience in her past, so he will learn the business and be okay;Jill hiring without prior talks with Lily and Devon; probably not necessary(LOL). And it gets a bit more crowded with nepotism..Abby demanded Devon put her on the corporate board. Is the return of Nate next??
I could totally go for Cole being brought back full time. Victoria actually seems human around him, like their connection might spark back up at any moment!
I’m into the Tucker-Audra vibe, both what we saw at Thanksgiving as well as the interaction in his suite on Friday. I don’t want them to get together immediately, but I do want whatever this sexy, passionate, and intense connection is to continue and grow!
I saw this intimacy between them before and noted then, as Tucker stated to Audra, staring at her deeply and longingly, “It’s complicated”, “We’re complicated”. Tucker and Audra have a long history together, personal and professional, so there is a fire between them always smoldering deep within them. They compliment each other in drive to succeed in business gains as well as unending desire for each other. They are a “perfect” match” yet I’m not entirely sold on wanting them forever together; trust and loyalty is always conditional.
BTW..The actress portraying Audra has such beautiful hair!!!
I found it very intriguing when Billy was speaking to Jack at the coffee shop and Jack was telling Billy that he isn’t good at making judgments like Billy thinks he is. Jack told Billy that he was a gambling addict and reminded him of all the hundreds of thousands of dollars that Billy has lost from gambling. Billy responded by telling Jack that he actually is a good poker player who doesn’t lose often because he does know how to read people despite what Jack thinks. Last week in the classic episode, it was so funny when Douglas and Victor came back to the apartment and Douglas asked Victor if he liked the restaurant. Victor responded by saying that he isn’t that into restaurants and that if Douglas wasn’t so enthusiastic about restaurants that he might lose a few pounds..lol! Victor seems to have lost his sense of humor as he doesn’t seem to say funny lines very often nowadays.
When Victor asked if they found anyone in the bedroom upstairs and they told him no one was in there, that was a great build up to the final scene. The final scene of Aunt Jordan peeking out of the vent up in the wall was so creepy!
Tucker tells Audra he hopes she isn’t falling for Kyle! He tells her that Kyle is a daddy’s boy and a mommy’s boy! And……later we all saw the amorous display between the two of them. Deep down, in true soap opera fashion, Tucker seems as if he’s in love with two different women, both Ashley and Audra.
The scenes today between Ashley and Tucker were tender! She really seems to care about Tucker remaining in Devon’s and Dom’s lives. Both actors did a great job expressing their characters’ affection for each other. Their true love and deep rooted feelings for each other truly showed through today; even though (married or not) the bickering will continue! LOL
After hearing Chance on Friday telling Sharon that he is leaving his current job; my prediction on Thursday may indeed come to fruition! Cole would be the best candidate for replacing Chance as Police Chief!!! He took charge and “saved the day” when he and the Newmans were in dire straits at the lake house.
This is a perfect solution! I wanted Chance to stay on at GCPD. If the writers install Cole as police chief then problem solved!
Burgundy and wine seem to be the fall colors in Genoa City. Kyle looked quite dapper in his wine wool topcoat. Billy looked very dashing last week in his burgundy sport coat. I can’t wait to see Nate in these colors. I know purple is his color, but I bet he can pull this off too.
Tucker says, “You’re a lot smarter than you look, Kyle! No offense!”
Such a LOW blow to Billy coming from Jack today!! Telling Billy he’s a gambling addict; and therefore telling Billy that he doesn’t believe he has the ability to “read” Tucker’s intentions or possible devious plans! Again, Jack speaks every bit as cruelly and dismissive to Billy as Victor has spoken to his kids!
Good point. Jack won’t let Billy forget his past destructive behaviors. Billy has shown he “has changed”, yet Jack isn’t seeing it. However, I think Jack is more willing to see the error of his ways than Victor “the all mighty “.
The Oregon PD searched the house and didn’t find any signs of Aunt Jordan? As aforementioned, this storyline is full of holes! On another note, I feel like the Newmans will give Claire a break. After all it appears that she was radicalized by her aunt, and I think they should give her a break—–along with considering she saved their lives by administering the antidote. I do believe that Aunt Jordan is telling the truth, that Claire is Victoria’s daughter as well. I can see that factoring into the scenario, but Cole has no place at least for now. I agree Claire will be Victoria and Cole’s daughter. If so, Cole may stick around. He left GC to teach. He could become a professor at Genoa City University. Connor, Johnny, and Katie could go there. Add additional actors who are an up- and-coming rockstar, model, want-to-be-singer, an aspiring writer, etc., and we can repeat more Y & R history. I’m in.
Claire certainly looks a lot like Victoria. And if Eve was her grandmother she has Eve’s blonde hair.
Did I miss something? I never saw Cole drink the poison, yet he was given the antidote just like the Newmans. As one of our chatters suggested, this storyline is full of holes!
I noticed that too! I am enjoying the story just because new people, different situation. I wonder if the writers are hacking this story together as it goes along. I swear they read Sharod’s great ideas and put stuff together from her comments.
Lol, making sense out of nonsense is a power struggle with a soap that a viewer will NEVER win!!
