I am sorry but the writers should had Devon do a second, third, or better yet fourth opinion AND had two private investigators on the case to find out for sure if the revised Katherine’s will was legit. I smell a scam a mile away. Do better writers! Or why was Elena thinking while away about Chance and his supposed part of the contesting of Katherine’s will? Uh oh. Looks like impeachment coverage will preempt our daily escape to Genoa Junction. Maybe episodes will air overnight in the wee hours? Or will they just hold them back?
If you google it you might find a blog about how to view the Canadian episodes., they shouldn’t be preempted, but maybe.
Uhm last I remember Chance was tall,dark and handsome. I’m not feeling the same energy from new Chance. (cry face)
Kyle keeps talking about how Theo is such a bad guy and how he can’t be trusted. Kyle has not always been Mr. Innocent. Let’s not forget that when Kyle first came to town he was bitter over Jack’s treatment of him in the past. Kyle took over Jabot and planned to sell the company to Victor, knowing Victor is Jack’s number one enemy. Luckily Jack thwarted him and Kyle began the slow road towards regaining the trust and acceptance of his family. Let’s also not forget how Kyle slept with Summer when Lola was in the hospital. I agree this has been baffling like alot this year. I think Kyle actually brought Theo to town didn’t he? To help with the launch of his and Summer’s social media marketing? I guess he didn’t plan on him sticking around, dating Summer, an exposing Kyles bad boy days.
I found some very interesting information on Cane and his history with Katherine Chancellor! It seems that it may not be as strange and farfetched as fans and even the residents of Genoa City may think, that Katherine would leave Cane such a large amount of money when he is not even family. Apparently Katherine Chancellor and Philip Chancellor II founded the Chancellor Foundation. The foundation funded scientific research that helped people by providing facilities and training while also maintaining a connection to the streets through soup kitchens and social service groups. Outside of coming to town, unforgivingly for me, pretending to be the real Australian(!) Phillip the 3rd, in broad overview, I don’t know what Cane has done to be worthy of such a terrible reputation. Indeed, the “whole town” is always buzzing about what a shady guy Cane is, but I don’t remember much of it. Cane is basically good. Was Cane talking to Charlie or Maddie?
First I thought Charlie because of father son relationship .
Then I thought Maddie because she would help Cane sort it out and explain to Charlie in a way he would understand (gently like Cane did nothing wrong).
Then I thought it must have been Charlie because if it was Maddie, he would have told her then would have been silent on the other end of the line as Maddie reamed him out for this, that and the other.
It was Charlie because Cane said you and your sister in the conversation
Thank you! Haha should have paid attention but was busy thinking of his last days on Y and R while watching the scene. I really love YR Chat but the danger is the spoilers. Like Ali, I too need real life and the show to be separate entities. But I’m a hypocrite because in this case, I needed to know about Cane so as to grieve his departure before it happens. It’s actually traumatic losing a favourite character. I rely on the show as a stable point in a hectic and uncertain life.

If I was Chelsea I would have called Adam and Victor together then told them about Simon Black. For Pete’s sake, Simon threatened her baby boy! Anybody in their right mind would bring in the wealthiest, meanest, most diabolical sons of blinkers to let loose all over his long greasy haired suit wearing butt.
Don’t tell me she was trying to hide the money laundering from the Newman men. They wouldn’t care.
Poor Nick wouldn’t be much help. He’s too New Hope. Just not mean enough

Love every scene Adam is in. Especially since he’s written a bit more like Adam now and going all over town making empty threats. Adam makes people come to him.
Well that was weird. Either Cane was in on the con all along or Chance just socked Cane for no other reason than the fact that he was angry over Cane’s plan to bequeathed his billions to his kids. If that is the case then Cane should get right back up and deliver a stiff right hook to Chance’s chin. Now here is an interesting observation: assuming that Cane and Chance were in on this together then why did they have to orchestrate that entirely unnecessary masquerade of having Cane suffer a blow to the head, render him unconscious for… Read more »
Is it emotionally satisfying to viewers to have their favorite stable characters go “rogue” as they leave the show, making a farce of who they were in all the time we spent watching them? Most cases I’d say no. I don’t see a purpose to evil Cane as he leaves Y&R… Don’t bastardize the characters just to get a few weeks of exciting story out of them. Is it worth it? In watching, viewers enjoy the fantasy, but come back for a core truth in who their favorite characters are. In the writing of Cane, given all he has lost… Read more »
I’m very curious to see if there will be a logical thread from the beginning to the end of this inheritance story—Katherine, Devon, Tucker, Chance, Amanda, Cane—is it all going to make sense somehow? Here’s hoping.
I had to laugh when Cane was relieved that he could now “secure his children’s future”. Like you need billions to do that!!! Their future was already secure, plus maybe they just might make something of themselves. They don’t need billion dollar trust funds.
Well, they made Hilary a Saint right before she left and that certainly had not been Hilary’s character the majority of the time she was in GC.
The big families in town talk a good game about how they don’t want their newly discovered relatives to forget all about the real people who raised them, but in fact, they DO. Dylan, etc…
How is candidate Nick going to explain denying Adam any rights to Christian when his own girlfriend is amicably raising Connor with him?

There are so many Newman scandals—umm, isn’t your father recently undead Nicholas? LOL. Nick saying he will just “be honest” about his mistakes is pretty funny. Would never fly with voters in real life.
I think Chelsea will tell Adam everything because she’s gonna need his bad guy ways to take out Simon’s bad guy ways. Of course it will eventually all come out and Nick will dump her and she will get back with Adam that way.
Same old Chelsea, same old storyline.

BOO too late writers. No way I want him to get her by default. She has shown she doesn’t love him, because nobody who loves somebody would be with his brother in front of his face. I will never buy her and Adam as a couple now, they ruined that, I would rather she go poof, just leave Conner.
I’m sorry, the Chloe and Kevin pretending to be FBI was ridiculous. First of all it seemed so fake and I can guess Simon Black new instantly it was fake too. Why would the FBI randomly talk to Chelsea in the middle of a hotel lobby about Simon Black? Second of all, couldn’t anyone who knows Chloe and Kevin walk up and give away their cover, like Phyllis who is walking around the hotel!?
Yeah, but they sounded so official to me! I’m gullible…
And it would have been good, as you say, If K&C’s friends rushed up to greet them in the middle of the hoax! That’s entertainment!
I think Jack is putting too much weight on that one interaction Theo had with Dina. Yes it was a nice moment, but that does not define Theo’s whole character.
Yeah, that’s soap opera for you. Sentimental Jack, placing “family” above all in welcoming this new 3rd cousin down the line, twice removed as the new centerpiece for the Abbott dynasty. Send him a Christmas card(!), but be out to lunch when he wants to borrow money! Give me a break. Theo, of the real world, tried to blow them all off in that welcoming cheese spread get together. I thought it was before Jen, did they say it was during? I pictured he was the same age as Dina.
I thought the balloons at the Anniversary party for Mariah and Tessa at Society were very pretty and classy looking. I liked the colour combination. I also loved the words Sharon said in her speech to Mariah and Tessa. They were very endearing.
