So Nick is Reys best man?! Guess he is still mad at Arturo over the MIA thing.
I am getting tired of the distance between everyone! (I understand the need). There are times that you know they want to hug like Dina’s death or when Mariah was finished scolding Faith. I miss the closeness. Damn virus!
I want to see a full on turn to the dark side from Chelsea……Adam just lost the best asset he ever had.
I wonder if we will see Kyle’s hook up with the girl from New York? I hope we do if they decide to have Kyle meet up with her. I hope it is not offscreen. That would be very disappointing. If Y&R is going to have Kyle call this girl, then they need to follow through with the story onscreen.
Kyle may be reevaluating his life with this date on hold.
You may be right. If he does decide to meet up with her, I hope we see it.
When Rey and Sharon were discussing their wedding plans and Rey was mentioning that he would be contacting his mother to let her know about the wedding, it brought me back to a point we have discussed on Y&R chat before. What happened to Sharon’s mother? I noticed Y&R doesn’t even acknowledge her because so much time has gone by without her being seen or mentioned. I feel like they don’t know how to incorporate her mother now so that it makes sense. They need to get creative and come up with a way to at least Y&R mention her… Read more »
I agree it’s a little strange that Sharon wouldn’t share her diagnosis with her mother, Doris. She might not be sharing her wedding plans because she’s not sure of them herself. But her cancer diagnosis she should be sharing. If not just to get family background information. The last time we saw Doris, I believe, she was going to room with Nina‘s mother. I think it would be easy for the writers to bring Sharon‘s mother back. It would be fantastic if they could bring her back in an interesting way. Yeah it makes no sense that they haven’t mentioned Doris in years. I can’t even remember the last time we saw her. Sharon and her mom were so close and I liked that Doris kept it real with Sharon. I wish Y&R would at least mention Doris’ status.
Sharon loves her put upon mother, but I would question how close they are. I think Sharon views Doris in kind of the same way she views Rey. Pests!
Yes, maybe that’s true. She probably doesn’t want to hear her mother lecture her about all the men in her life!
Self actualized, Rey is the (what was the traditional) woman in this relationship. He is the one who does the cooking, the mending, the sewing. Sharon likes to get out of the house. Like to go you know where!
There used to be a bar right near my house called “Neighbors”. They actually had little commercials on local t.v. with the people in them saying thing like “I’m going to the neighbors to get a screwdriver”, or “I’m gonna stop at the neighbors before I get home.” That’s Sharon, running out to Crimson Lights for no real reason except the possibility of running into Adam.
“I have to go next door to borrow a screwdriver”. HA!

Ali, I thought it was so funny when you were talking about Chance’s feet the other week. I felt the same way. It was too much feet to be showing us. Now when I look at him, I still imagine seeing them! I really don’t want that image in my head. lol
I really hope we don’t get a Devon and Amanda pairing. I am sorry Ali, as I know that is what you would like to see. Being that Amanda is Hilary’s twin, a Devon and Amanda pairing is not exciting to me. I feel like we have been down that road already and it is time to move on. I hope Devon and Elena can work things out.
I felt so bad for Chelsea when she overheard Adam expressing his undying love for Sharon to Rey at the coffeehouse. I can just imagine how she felt in that moment. She was so shocked and devastated. I could really feel her pain when she was telling Adam how hard it was to listen to him talking about another woman that way. Chelsea doesn’t deserve that treatment from Adam. He is so lucky to her on his side. I really liked them as a couple and am disappointed to see them broken up. I hope Chelsea remains on the show… Read more »
If Adam is true to form, he’ll find a way to get Chelsea back. She might be with someone else by that point. But he will work his charm spell on her and win her back. Chelsea feels they will always belong together. I personally, liked that she kicked him to the curb. His behavior was devious. Claiming he loves Chelsea when all the while he’s telling Sharon he wants to be with her.

I thought Chelsea’s response was rather tame, considering… I thought my head would explode watching the coffee house scene going down and that Chelsea’s would too, but she seemed rather composed as she kissed Adam off, packed her bags and left.
Was Adam truly prepared to leave town and start a new life with Chelsea elsewhere as he proposed at the beginning of the scene? What about Sharon?
She wouldn’t want to confront Adam at the coffee house in front of Rey. I am sure she was in shock and disbelief and wanted to confront Adam at home in private.
That is a good question you ask about what Adam’s plans were. I guess he knew he couldn’t stop Sharon from marrying Rey and was prepared to leave town with Chelsea, but wanted to let Rey know what he thought about his and Sharon’s relationship before doing so.
You go Chelsea . I would kick Adam in the butt lf I were you long ago. Sorry .(not sorry) Devon is hurted…I’m worried that he will get himself into some addiction …or soemthing soon. 🙁 Faith is getting into some teenage drama/slash addiction too. Did anyone else notice Chelsea touch her head in her opening scene? Do we think she’s going to go nuts? Or will Adam? The race is on. I don’t care but please just let them get back together and DO NOT MESS with Sharon and Rey’s wedding! C’mon Y&R, after that year that is 2020, we NEED a beautiful NYE wedding!
Ok, so I was never a Nick and Sharon fan when they were together, but I do like them as friends. But today when Adam was going on about the great love he and Sharon had and that she would never love Rey the way she loved Adam, I couldn’t help but think Adam got himself mixed up with Nick. Chelsea overhearing Adam and Rey chatting about Adam’s great love of Sharon was mindblowing and kind of hilarious. And Chelsea was only stopping by Crimson Lights to pick up some muffins… Wow. Adam is so wacky. He means no harm, but was on mental overload and forgot to break up with his current true love before running after his old new one! Get a grip, wacko. UPSHOT: I did not realize Chelsea had been out of town. I have to say Adam’s comeback as Chelsea told him she had heard all at Crimson was damn good. “Did you see how smug Rey was? I have no interest in Sharon, I was merely baiting him”, he said. I almost believed it myself. But what I don’t get is that in the beginning of the scene Adam asks Chelsea if she’s ready to pack up, leave town and start a new life together elsewhere? Rats for a minute there I thought Sharon and Rey were going to have a Halloween wedding in costume and just before the ceremony Adam, wearing an identical costume to Rey, would hit him on the head and knock him out and marry Sharon

Laura, I hadn’t seen the episode when I asked that. Forget Halloween, I was completely taken aback by the ominousness of Sharon and Rey setting a wedding date for New Year’s Eve! At least this is going to be a big dramatic event befitting the greatness of Sharon and Rey. Old fashioned fireworks! “Ominous” is the word! Let me guess…there is going to be a bomb involved…an explosion at the stroke of midnight; a series of suspects; Rey will die (thank goodness); Sharon will grieve for about a minute; Adam and Nick will be her emotional support group; Phyllis will get jealous; Chance will solve the case by proving that Adam wasn’t the culprit but it was Ian Ward.
I believe the only natural (or manifactured) disaster involved will be Adam come to claim his bride.
You only say “thank goodness” Rey will die because you know it will bug your public.
Although it does kind of make me laugh to imagine Sharon & Rey’s wedding getting bombed! HA!
Adam. Again running around town with no plan, no thought behind what you are doing, running your mouth. And so disrespectful to Chelsea. You must finish one relationship before you try to start another one. You can’t do this to Connor’s mother. Just stop. Will the real Adam Newman please return to GC. The Harvard graduate, the strategist, the person who uses his brain, not just raw emotion. I miss that Adam. This current Adam is reckless and aimless.
