CHATS, to give you an idea as to how bogus my phone is, in a weekly wrap up they are referring to Michael Mealor as ‘Kyle Newman’ –
Loved the scenes with Nikki and Victor! The scenes were tender and loving. These two together show the main reason that Y & R has had so many years of success! The many years of “real life” scenes between these actors show the longevity of the characters through happy, sad, easy and difficult storylines. Their story has been our past and hopefully much of our future ahead!
I am ashamed of myself for panning them
No, it’s okay to scoff at the lovey dovey scenes because it’s rare in real life – says every chatter. We do appreciate the longevity of these characters and as a woman I will say those scenes give me a Hallmark fix.
LOL “Hallmark fix” is the best! I’ll be watching Hallmark Christmas movies from October to January!!
Sorry you missed ‘CHRISTMAS IN JULY,’, Sharon W. What Y&R-ers do you feel are right for Hallmark besides Claire???
Chelsea has the Hallmark smile and sparkle in her eyes, required for any Hallmark actress.
LOL Victor has always been and will always stay my favorite!
Would love to know what Chatters think about the previews showing Billy and Sally showing up at a “non-existent” party. I’m not understanding why Cane just left them “high and dry”.
WOW. Feeling too lazy at the time to race over to Y&R CHAT to comment but that threw me for a loop! What is that all about? No party? Is this the no party that was supposed to be an early TV 50s party???
I think it’s a launch, but not sure of the details as to the necessity of it! Would love to see the 50’s costumes, though!
Phyllis needs to take the hint from Cane that he no longer wants her help. She needs to realize that even though she offered to take the fall for him and look deep into the computers of every company in town; he is now treating her with contempt! And even though she hates Victor; she should now wise up and go straight to Victor to offer her services. (After all, “everyone” in town knows Phyllis is “the” computer genius; so Victor has to realize that she already has seen the information that Cane is looking for).
Phyllis was once a definite force to reckon with and respect – and rightfully so. Now her shaky bravado is just pathetic. TAKE A BREATH, Red – the harder you tout yourself, the more pointless you appear… rooting for your inner zphoenix to rise again…!

FINALLY!! Daniel decided to state the obvious and tell Tessa she is beautiful! Here’s hoping she’ll decide to take a chance with Daniel, since Mariah has left her completely out in the cold.

Can’t wait for a whirlwind storyline moving forward for them! They both deserve happiness! (Personal note–Daniel is my 2nd favorite male lead after Victor!) LOL

Welcome back, Michael! I didn’t even guess that Victor was missing Michael too! Michael will be working for Victor while pretending to work for Cane. Brings back great memories when Michael and Victor were working together to keep Aunt Jordan “in their care”! The story is looking up! What a great group working with and against each other, as in Cane, Victor and Michael!
RORY has been replaced by a new Noah, says phone.
Cane’s next strategy is to ignore Lily completely. Let her come crawling, begging to get back together with him (approx. 13 months).

Ali, you were just asking about Victor’s office, and voila we are treated to it today. I don’t like Phyllis holding her friendship with Michael as a reward for him telling her his business. I don’t know why it’s a secrete anyway. IF he takes the job, which he hasn’t yet, then they will be working together. Now that everyone knows what happened with Sharon, Phyllis should have already reached out to Michael to patch things up. I am happy to see bad Claire with a twinge of psychotic is back.
Nick looked especially handsome Friday. His hair is perfect now, and I like his sports coat with the charcoal crew neck. I liked his look much more than Adam’s suit and tie.
What a pleasure to see Michael on my screen. He adds a such rich history to whatever story is unfolding. Victor’s vendetta against Michael is extreme. I can’t wait for the day Victor comes groveling back to Michael, and Michael makes Victor wait for acceptance.
Oh I complain about Victor and make fun of Nikki but I enjoyed the last scene of the flashbacks and the tender looks now that they are in their golden years. It was sweet and made me really appreciate how wonderful it is to have these actor playing the same part all these years.
Say what one may about the characters (and oh, there is much out there!), but I love that this relationship has endured through their countless break-ups and betrayals. I hope Victor and Nikki remain together forever now.
So true. It gave me a warm fuzzy feeling to see Nikki treat Victor. But come on, how many black leather jackets does a multi-billionaire need.
Audra could have lied to Victor and told him she completed the deal. She told him she was close and needed more time. Why didn’t she just lie and say she did seduce Kyle? We have speculated about video evidence and the fact that Audra didn’t lie to Victor seems to confirm there’s either a witness or video evidence.
She fears Victor. And anyway, she is one who carefully ‘hedges her bets’ whenever she can.
In one scene, Audra was recording. She either didn’t get incriminating footage or is saving it for a bigger payout.
Sharod, so maybe Holden is a womanizing cad? Audra is giving Claire a warning about the Vesper drink being one of his lines. I will be disappointed but he’s still fun to look at, I love his smile in the opening credits.
I was not always aware of, or focused on the fact that most of the actors have 2 opening credit shots. Your boy Holden is smiling. And now he isn’t.
This helps me on my journey through fuzzy brain syndrome! Sometimes I think the openings look different but assume it’s my poor recall.
