OMG just watched Friday’s episode and Camryn Grimes broke my heart! She is such a great actress, I was crying along with her. I know we all saw it coming but I am really finding this story compelling. I would love to see a custody battle with Mariah and Devon posing as a couple to gain custody of the baby!
She is amazing – the only good thing about this terrible storyline. I wish they would giver her something better to work with but I watch just to see her scenes as she is killing it! I hope she wins an Emmy and I also hope a great show snatches her up cause she deserves all the good things in life.
Looks like my theory “doesn’t hold water” regarding Mariah secretly breast-feeding Dominic. I was hoping that wouldn’t be the case. That was definitely the “silver lining ” to my theory. 🙂
I thought Mariah might breast feed the baby when she couldn’t calm him but took him for a walk outside. I thought Abby was going to find them upstairs Mariah breast feeding him.
SHAROD, look at that. Mariah is getting it together and healthily looking to have a baby with Tessa. Moving forward.
No, Gary No. This is actually not healthy. Trying to replace one baby for the one you can not have is very wrong. That child will never have your true love. The child will always feel that they were just a replacement.
I am so hoping that Tessa says no. Well I know she will. Because that has the reason she and Mariah break up.

On what Gary? Mariah and Tessa have never had a discussion about starting a family. Yet, Mariah decides on her own, yes, it was her decision alone, Tessa wasn’t even included in the original conversation, to carry a baby for another woman. And she also was not there when Mariah agreed to be the surrogate. It is not fair to ask Tessa to have a baby at this point. It is too soon. This is Mariah’s grief talking. The answer should be, NO!!

That’s because there wasn’t Covid when that scene was shot.
But the other soaps are using real babies. Just not Y&R. I’ve said it in the comments before, I feel they are being cheap, with the production of this show. Y&R needs to be grateful that these actors are good and some great at their job. If not, I am not sure this show would survive based on the writing and production they put into this show.
About Ash and Vick. I keep hoping Ashland have nothing to hide and he keeps his relationship with Victoria stable and happy (at leats for a while). But it seems impossible I guess. I just have the feeling Billy will come out as a hero out of this… It’s just bothers me why can’t Vicoria be happy for a while!! 🙂 Billy is giving me nerves with all his sticking nose in someone’s buisness and digging up the dirt on anyone he doesn’t trust , sorry… ;p
Never thought that Victor picking up cupcakes would happen. And by the way, I am over this Chance storyline. Y&R should bring back the actor or recast!
Maybe they can age Connor, Bellla, Johnny and Katie up to be teens like Faith snd Moses. I like them a lot as a couple it’s boring that they have no other same age friends to discuss their relationship with. Maybe bring the twins back or Mackenzie and her kids. There really needs to be sr least two more teens. Heck bring Daniel and Lucy back. She should be a teenager. It was really bugging me so much this week.
Lily please dump Billy before you get your heart completely broken when he rescues Victoria from herself and they reunite in the blink of an eye.
Ashland is really full of it with this half of sob story of his past that he tells hoping no one will dig further. I’m flabbergasted by Victor not wanting to get to the bottom of Ashland’s original identity. Why does it seem every new character that lands in Genoa City has some sort of crazy childhood trauma or misunderstood past they are fleeing. I’m surprised no one asked if Ashland had siblings. Connor made me laugh out loud with all his awkward questions for Sharon and Adam. Yeah Sharon why does Adam seek you out for every problem? Oh you’re not the only therapist in Genoa City.
LOL Out of the mouths of babes. I liked that he told them about themselves. I need him to go over to Abby, Devon and Mariah and tell them about themselves as well. Ditto for Billy, Ashland and Victoria. The writers were using the heck out of Connor to voice what some of us viewers have been saying. Sharon is again being written to be a disappointment. Girl you have a master’s degree in what again?
My heart broke for Mariah. She has major postpartum depression and why no one is encouraging her to go to a licensed therapist ( not Sharon) is beyond me. Truthfully just from being held hostage again she needs therapy and then you add in all the hormonal shift of giving birth to a baby that can never be your baby. Why does everyone seem so shocked by her struggling? Please get Mariah professional help.
Say it louder Sherita or the ones in the back row. Sharon has time for Adam but not time to go help out HER DAUGHTER. Why writers? Why??
Nikki and Victoria were adorable in Friday’s episode. I truly love their love. Victor lately seems like he adores Nikki more than ever.
I had to write this on The Chat. As I watched today’s episode, for the third time, it struck me funny that Tessa Porter was in the same room with Nikki and Victor Newman, and lived to walk out. I believe this was the first time that Nikki and Tessa were in a scene together since March 2019(Courtroom, when TMC was sentenced to prison). Nikki was the first person Tessa met in Genoa City. I really miss their friendship.
Ali you were funny last week when you said “boo hoo” regarding Connor being left in the dark about Adam and Chelsea’s relationship status. lol. First it was Faith, and now it seems Connor is following close in her footsteps when it comes to being precocious. I don’t know if a little boy would tell his dad that he and his mom can “work things out” after being told they are separating. A kid would probably just say “why are you not staying together’? You are correct. And when you hear dialogue like that from a child’s mouth. It takes you out of the moment of what the scene is suppose to make you feel.
I loved Ashley’s tan sparkly jump suit. It was so pretty and classy looking. Ashley looked very nice.
