It is wonderful that Victor tells Nick to remove Faith from Sharon’s house and have her go live with him for a while. Wonderful in the scense that it is just so HIM. Character consistency. Also loved Victoria’s aside as to how Victor thinks Sharon’s doctor might open up to the family. “Through bullying and threats?”
Victor only said that to control Faith, not for her safety. He always has to control everything. Faith won’t want to leave her mom although right now Sharon is hiding out
Billy will probably throw a punch at Adam. He is upset that Adam is getting close with Chelsea

I am SO HAPPY about the return of “Smart Phyllis” this week! Ever since Diane’s return to the show Phyllis’ character has been mostly comedy. She really is funny and that’s great, but I have missed seeing her brilliance and cunning in the work domain. I hope that working at AC will be a perfect fit and we’ll see Phyllis play a big part in foiling Victor’s evil plan. She’s brave and brainy, and Billy loves risk. Maybe it can’t work in the long term, but one big caper would be wonderful!!

Guys! I was moved by Victoria’s insightful words about her brother and his anxiety about Sharon: “He wouldn’t have it any other way.” “But at what cost?” Nikki asked. “There is no cost as far as Nicholas is concerned.”
That’s exactly right! That’s true love! If you love someone the way Nick obviously still loves Sharon, it doesn’t feel costly.
I don’t know how seriously we’re meant to take soap opera writing, but I know good writing when I hear it. Well done, Y&R!

I found it VERY INTERESTING that Victoria was willing to let Victor destroy Billy, until she found out that Lily was apart of the plan.

I’m sorry but the Newman family is no help for poor Nick. And I’m sorry but I need to mention again that Nikki needs a new beauty shop. Her hair flat ironed and parted in the middle with bangs is not flattering.
Naomi, thanks for mentioning the flat ironing! I could not figure what was going wrong with her hair! It ages Nikki at least 10 years! (And who wants that?)
The hairstyle is great for a rock star vibe, but not for Nikki. She needs classic styles to flatter her classic beauty.

Chelsea is wondering why Billy and Phyllis are sitting together. Phyllis and the audience (or at least me) have been wondering why Adam and Chelsea sit around together most every hour of every day.
Don’t they have work to do? Ever?! I’m no high-powered C-suite executive, but I don’t have time to sit around drinking coffee or booze nearly as often as these people!
The whole show consists of actors sitting in a business establishment recounting events or conversations.

Thanks to whoever posted last week that Lucy is Sheila Carter’s granddaughter. I had no idea as I took a break from Y&R during the whole Daisy/Kevin era. WOW! There is A LOT of potential with Lucy’s character. The ties to Sheila, half uncle Kevin, even to Billy and Vicatoria who had originally adopted her. There’s so much the writers can do and they’ve got an actress who could turn rebellious and dark. I wonder if she even knows, or does she think Heather is her biological mom?
They never refer to the subtleties of storyline that long-time viewers remember. As you said, that Billy tried to buy Lucy. Or that Christian is Adam’s. Or that Faith used to “belong” to Ashley. Or…..

I am really enjoying the story line with Sharon and her alter ego being involving Cameron Kirsten. This is very clever and enjoyable. He fills in the void of a villain as we don’t really have one on the show at the moment. His character is great and I love his sarcasm he uses with Sharon. It is entertaining and comical at times. I found Sharon’s character to be unnerving when she ran into Daniel at the coffee house. When Sharon told Nick she would catch up with him and stayed behind at the coffee house it was so creepy… Read more »

The storyline that had Audra undermining Tucker to steal away Glasode with Victor’s help has now transferred to Victor doing the exact same thing to Billy. The only thing that has changed is the characters now that Tucker has left town. I don’t think we would be getting this storyline with Victor vs. Billy if the character of Tucker had not left the show. I also found it quite funny when Victor’s excuse to Victoria for wanting to ruin Billy was because Billy had broken her heart time and time again. How hypocritical is this coming from Victor who has… Read more »
Hmm. Now that I see your print, they don’t have big office sign with the company name for the company. You spelled Glasode. I imagined it Glissade. Who knows?
I think it may be Glissade, which refers to a movement in ballet. It’s a nice name for a French company. As for Jabot, I have no idea why that name was chosen, also a French word, referring to a fancy style of collar or an ornate window treatment.

I’m hoping for “much” more story between Phyllis and Billy! It has been years since they have had a storyline together; and now I say “Bravo”! Billy trusts Phyllis so much that he opened up about what had happened between Adam and Chelsea. He values and relies on her input; even though they are both really rough around the edges and tell it like it is! Often they sound like they are not getting along at all; but then they are seeming to come up with an amazing solution together. I think Billy and Phyllis will be a formidable team… Read more »
I agree! They have the brains and drive to beat Lily at her game and frustrate Victor in the process. I’m thinking this could be the beginning of a formidable partnership.

Ok, I finally give in!! I have loved Adam since the very beginning! I have forgiven him for any wrong he has done! But now I’m angry! I am angry at his giving up so easily on Sally! Sally is completely devoted to Adam. Of course that is even though it took some time for her to break with Nick to go back to Adam. But she loves him and worries about him. (And, I also know many Chatters gave up on them long ago—that made sense.) But now, on Friday, at Society he was almost begging Chelsea to reconsider… Read more »
But I”ll go w/whichever way Adam’s heart lands… be it Sally or Chelsea. (OR SHARON- they never had much closure…) Or a new love for Adam would be fine w/me as well.
Boldly said, sueW!! I agree with you! I will stay true blue to Adam and his future fate. (I’m still secretly angry with Adam; but it’s obviously temporary!) LOL
I agree. But I also think this is totally in-character fo rAdam. He just doesn’t want to be alone and Connor’s urging is all it took. In a twisted way this is also about not wanting Billy to get back together with Chelsea, and also probably about making Sally jealous.
I said it from the beginning that I believed Connor was faking his illness to get his parents back together. I really and truly stand-by that statement even more.
Adam. The MG version of Adam is in the wrong age group. He is not young enough for Tessa/Summer/Kyle/Daniel/Abby group, and not old enough to be in the Nick/Sharon/Chelsea/Phyllis/ group. So they brought in Sally, unidentified age group. The MG Adam is not romantic. He is just moody. No passion. Sometimes to appreciate a storyline, I picture the MM version, and then I can see it. The connection to Chelsea, the sympathetic memory of Sharon, the heartfelt remorse about Delia. It’s all there. Whatever the backstage drama was, it has bee n long enough, please stun the audience and bring… Read more »

Before Mariah’s call, Cameron told Sharon that she should have given her family more information before she left the house. He told her that they would not stop checking on her until they knew she was ok. And he told Sharon she needed to reach out to them on her own. She discussed with Cameron that she didn’t know what to tell them. It seems the writers didn’t know what to tell them either since they had Sharon hang up on Mariah!! LOL
Sharon’s head is just a mess- she can’t make sense or sustain any semblance of such for much longer…

It was great to see Victoria, Nikki and Victor finally come together today to support Nick after a rocky beginning. Hopefully, their discussion about talking to Sharon’s doctor will prompt some action. However, an important Newman was left out of the discussion. Where was Adam? He and Sharon share a close bond over her mental health issues. Adam may have been able to get through to Sharon. Call Adam stat. Cameron’s sweet whisperings are taking effect.

“Adam is a sociopath”, says Billy. HA!
I know, Billy shouldn’t talk, he is just as bad. He will never give Adam a break because of Delia.
On Friday, it looked like either Adam or Billy was going to be hit. Or is it only Nick that usually throws a punch?
Billy will probably throw a punch at Adam. He is upset that Adam is getting close with Chelsea
