Y&R need to go ahead and make Elena Dawson wait for it…… Annie Dutton. You know, the nurse who caused ALL sorts of drama for Reva and Josh on Guiding Light? Elena and Annie have similar personalities, it’s not even funny. Plus, Devon reminds me more and more like Josh from Guiding Light as well. There needs to be more soapy goodness with Devon/Elena/Amanda/Nate.
FOLKS: Elsewhere, somebody posted Gloria is but back for 2 weeks. I couldn’t tell if this was official information or bitter sarcasm from a Judith Chapman fan.
Only 2 weeks for a worldwind romance with Jack Abbott?
We Gloria fans have to get our supplement of Gloria in whatever way possible.
I like Gloria but don’t think she is right for Jack. He needs someone new with no connection to the Abbots
“I’m really gonna miss that Kid”, Adam casually reflects while reclining on his Lay Z- Boy convertable sofa, Chelsea having gotten the OK to ship Connor off to boarding school a day before. What a difference 6 months makes! HA! Like Connor is really going to leave his cat Oliver alone to be tended by those two goons!
Adam & Chelsea best start looking now for an exact Oliver look-a-like. God knows what’ll happen whilst the feline is in their care.
Conner will be SORAS after boarding school, so he can do more evil things and blame Adam for his bad behavior

Ali, In a previous Chat, you stated that you read or heard somewhere that Mariah makes a decision that affects her relationship with Tessa.
Well it seems that she takes Lola for a “girls night out”, apparently without Tessa. I wonder if she takes her to The Matchbox, where Lindsey is supposedly still working.
I’ve said it before and I will said it again, do not believe someone(in soap land) and Mariah in this instance, when they say that they will never cheat on you again.
I wonder if y&r may be foreshadowing a new business adventure for Sharon and Rey in the near future? Rey mentioned to Sharon about the two of them renovating houses together as apparently Sharon likes the home renovation shows. Sharon then asked if they would be flipping the homes. This scene was followed by Sharon watching a reno program with Faith. Faith of course was bored with the program, as she is still a kid who would likely not be interested. I loved Abby’s blue dress and also NIkki’s. I really like navy blue. I also really liked Lily’s grey tweed jumper she was wearing. It was cute.
Did you like Amanda’s navy slacks and navy pussy bow top? I did. Navy universally looks good on everyone.
Yes I thought it was pretty also. Navy seems to be the colour of the season.
Hi Ali, I have been meaning to ask you how a chatter’s status is established. I know you had said it is established by the number of likes on your comments. I have never made it to Senior Executive , Board Member or even influencer status yet? Not to give you a hard time in any way…lol. I was curious how it worked? I hope you don’t mind me asking.
Great question! Thank you for bringing this up. I always want to know about website glitches!!! So, your Y&R Chatter status is based on the number of “thumbs up” or “likes” that your comments get. The default status is “member”, and then you level up to “influencer” after 10 likes. Certainly, you should have reached influencer by now, so I’m wondering if maybe you’re not logged in to your account when commenting? The system will always take your comment, but it would need you to be logged in to record the “like” data you get. So, let me know, do… Read more »

Both characters made good points , love Nikki and lily.
I think it would be a great full circle moment if Rey was there for Sharon through the cancer & they became a stronger couple in way completely opposite of what happened when Cassie died. These are 2 major moments in Sharon’s life. Victoria is always such an uptight character. She should go to the escape club & then her rock star fling would surprise her. I think that would be fun to see. Unfortunately I don’t think these writers are that creative.

I never thought I would accept another actor as Adam after Michael Muhney. But I think Adam Grossman might have me convinced. I thought he was too young when he first came on the show. But he really sells whatever material he is given. I will defend him, pro bono, should he need my services for making Alyssa “disappear“. After all, she was getting quite annoying.
I have to say I kind of agree Ellen. Alyssa can be annoying. I don’t think I would want to see her on the show full time.
I was too scared to say this because Chatters fawn all over Alyssa wanting to give her a life contract, but I say you have served your purpose, be gone!
Mia Rosales can return and take her place.
Unfortunately Mia can not return unless she brings Arturo Jr. in tow.
Oh, right. He would have to be awkwardly off stage, and we already have plenty of that. With Arturo Jr. new in town everyone would want to pay their fawning respects and it would be tricky. Too bad he’s not still an infant where Art could be played by a baby doll. You could slap some fancy dark hair in a stylish wave onto it’s head, and with quick cuts, no-one the wiser…

I agree, Grossman is doing a great job as Adam. I don’t think we have seen the last of Allyssa . She is the antagonist for Adam. The book is going to be published. Aside from the notoriety who will even care what Adam did at 10 years old?
Faith is such a teenager now! Her round childlike face is gone. She is a beauty.
As I was saying above, Faith is back? What about Coronna?
Yes I’m glad to see the same actress is playing Faith. Growing up on screen isn’t frequent but nice when it does.
Lily, nice job of putting Nikki in her place. Using Neil’s memory to try to convince you to stop Billy, was not classy. Unfortunately, Nikki didn’t stop and threaten “Victor Newman will crush you“.
I hope Lily digs in and Y & R ups the ante to give us a great, surprising story.
Thought it was a good scene for Lily and Nikki. we all know Nikki is just worried about Victor and the Newman name but bringing up Neil to make Lily feel guilty wasn’t right and it won’t sway Lily but you know Lily is going to grill Billy about what he is doing
And just right after a day spent in the SPA aka Grand Phoenix’ Escape Club Amanda and Elen was on a way to become best buddies they will become worst enemies… *sigh* World of soaps is brutal heh
It is a shame ,they both could use a friend but Elena has reason to worry. I think Devon is going to become more obsessed with Amanda ,he may even have a break with reality and think she is really Hilary and pursue her
Billy’s got a lot of ‘splainin’ to do. I can’t wait until Billy takes her down a notch and make ever good lovin’ on that office desk.
He could then take Lily for a ride on the legendary and cleverly named Jaboat! It seems like such a waste for this beautiful boat to not be put to use for a steamy hot rendezvous! To add some more unpredictable excitement, they could then discover the infamous and mysterious Graham has been living there, planning his next move on getting revenge on the Abbott’s and somehow inheriting money after Dina’s death.
Great idea. Billy should wine and dine Lily and get her off her high and mightyness attitude she has assumed lately. Show that she harbors suppressed longings for Billy in the bedroom department.
I think Billy and Lily would make a good couple, that may be where we will be headed before too long
Graham hiding in the Jaboat? Hmmmmm, sounds an awful lot like when JT was hiding behind the walls of the Newman ranch for more than a year. Do you remember him singing a song to Katie that only JT knew. Do you know that if Graham is alive that will make him the stepfather to Jack, Ashley and Traci (unless the law in Wisconsin says something else).
Yes I remember he would sing to Katie Zoperplex. I feel like a boat is very different than being hidden in walls though.
Graham would only be a step father if he and Dina were married, otherwise he is nothing to them.
They were married when he tried to kill Dina.
I did not remember that they were married. That would make a great storyline and a great reason to bring Graham back!
I am sure if Graham were to return the first step the Abbotts would undertake is to seek an injunction declaring the marriage null and void. They will do everything possible to prevent Graham from benefiting in any way from Dina’s estate or to have control over her life.
Right now Rey is so bland that he is the right solution for insomnia.
He is the strong silent type. A great asset to the show!
But that was good when you said his relationship with Sharon was about as exciting as a bottle of Milk Of Magnesia.
