Abby annoyed me all this week. Her overreacting to Mariah around the baby and her commenting that she was gone with baby before for weeks the last time as if Mariah wanted to get kidnapped. Also it would seem after all that happened Abby would have not only security guards but security cameras of the Chance Manch and the grounds and could have spotted her. Lastly I think Abby is being knowingly insensitive to both Devon and Mariah, wanting them for emotional support, breast milk and quick babysitting yet not wanting the baby to truly bond with anyone but her.… Read more »

Surprised when Abby refered to Mariah as being gone “3 weeks before” In what was jumbled, confusing dialogue. Surely she was gone longer than that. GC time and our time.

I think it was 6 weeks Mariah was gone. She kept herself and the baby safe. Abby should not be so suspicious of her

Watching Elena and Nate this week, I kind of chuckled to myself because their relationship is as boring and vanilla as Phyllis hinted at last week. Individually they are perfectly lovely even sexy people but somehow together they are a snooze fest. I hope Nate takes Phyllis up on that hot night offer.

What is Ashland really hiding? It’s got to be bad if there is no record of any friends, family or birth certificate or death certificate. I appreciate Billy’s train of thought; Ashland as a man of power would love to tell the orphan young struggling his way up by his boot strap story to gain even more prestige. Yet he doesn’t so why? Nothing about Ashland is modest. Totally outlandish and definitely not the direction the show will probably take but it gave me early Maya vibes from B&B when no one knew about her past and it turned out… Read more »

Jack why tell Phyllis what she already knows. Now it’s going to be awkward. Aren’t you allegedly friends with Nick? Your children are marrying each other. I think it only going to take Nick saying or doing one thing Phyllis doesn’t like or agree with before she runs back into Jack’s arms not because she loves him so much but because unlike with Nick she knows there are no conditions to Jack’s love for her (unless she sleeps with Billy again or cheats on Jack with Nick again)! Please give Jack a true love that will appreciate him and want… Read more »

I feel like Adam is going to fall hard for Sally despite his better judgment. He is already intrigued and mildly infatuated by her brash bold ways. I do love how he interrupted her in a fantasy about them actually having sex. I am appreciating the slow burn of this relationship. Adam similar to his brother Nick likes to see the good in broken hot woman. Think about it, Adam help Chelsea get her GED, give up grifting and want the picket fence life. He was on the road to happy family man before summer got into the car accident… Read more »

I like Adam and Sally. I like the playful way they flirt with each other. I hope they have a long courtship and develop into a super couple

Random thought. I don’t think Victoria’s portrait looks as good as Victor’s. Maybe it because it feels like it was done from a photograph and Victor’s seems like he sat with the artist for hours so the painter could truly capture the man, the myth, the mystery Victor Newman.

Sharon couldn’t wait to go over to Adam’s office after the conversation she had with NIck at the coffee house. While they were talking, Sharon made a comment that she may not have realized until her conversation with NIck. She said having been in a previous relationship with someone and then giving that relationship another try and making it work is possible. She mentioned the couple needed to agree to make the necessary adjustments, Sharon wasn’t fooling me, we know she was thinking about herself and Adam when she made this comment. I look forward to a love triangle with… Read more »

It was also hinted at that Sharon is with Rey because he is comfortable and predictable, just like NIck and Phyllis. I am sure this comment also helped to set the wheels in motion for a possible
Sharon and Adam reunion.

I liked Lily’s mauve coloured blouse and skirt she had on the other day. She looked pretty, like a lilac flower, as the colour was the same.
Also, I agree with you Ali that Elena really suits her short hair. It took getting used to, but now she looks like a sophisticated model. A cross between Halle Barry and Betty Boop.

I think Lily is hands-down the “best-dressed” on the show. I gotta say though, that while the lilac outfit was gorgeous, it struck me as a bit off-season, giving me more Easter/Springtime vibes over early Fall in Wisconsin.

I know this was for Henry. But I watch B&B too. Now they are currently writing some bold stuff and are not afraid to stir up some controversy.
Eric is saying that he is impotent, but he is about to lay out a plan to Quinn and Carter, that may have some viewers clutching their pearls.

Sharod, I think you were the one who informed us that the picture of Pat Foley on the Employee of the Month board was a picture of a production crew member.

I know Mariah was traumatized. But why would Stitch have any interest in coming after her again now that she is no longer pregnant with Abby’s baby?

It isn’t just Stitch. Mariah is channeling her separation anxiety through an overwhelming fear of being trapped yet again by Stitch. It is her way of expressing separation anxiety without drawing attention to the fact that it all has to do with Dominic/Bowie because she knows consciously that there is nothing she can do to reserve the current situation.

Sharod

Why are these writers having Mariah focus on Stitch coming back? Well, sadly on the whole I know why. But, for the content of making sense, somebody should just tell her that Stitch was not after her personally, and it was actually about Abby and The Baby. And that she is no longer relevant to Stitch. Mariah needs to be told this.

The good thing about Stitch as an escaped kidnapper is that he is currently a lost soul not seeking revenge on anybody. If Mariah doesn’t understand she has nothing to fear she most definiately needs to be set straight. This is a most basic plot point and not realistic that this has not been explained to her in full. You can’t have Mariah melting down in part from fear when everyone knows she is not in danger even though, of course, her panic can not necessarily be controlled by logic.

In general, ones fear is base on some logic. But Mariah panicking about Stitch coming after her again, is not logical. It is merely the writers way of making sure, that they put anything and everything in the way to prevent from showing Tessa and Mariah as an romantic couple. Most of the couples have share an intimate moment since returning from COVID break, except for Tessa and Mariah. Yes, I know Nikki and Victor, too. But they’ve shared intimate conversations, along with intimate gestures. But not T&M. And No, it is not because the actresses don’t want it. Quite… Read more »

This is unfortunate. Very short sighted of the writing team. I feel like they struggle with writing for non traditional characters as fully formed characters with hopes dreams and passions of their own other than as crutches of support on other people’s stories.

No worries, she is not really afraid that Stitch is coming back. This is just providing a reason for her to push Tessa away.
Yes, I stick by Tessa’s declaration that she is a Lesbian. But I have seen the young man that will be playing Noah. So, if Y&R can make it make any kind of sense. (Like Tessa having an accident, get amnesia). I would love to see Tessa with him. Because right now Mariah does not deserve Tessa. And They would make a striking couple.

I wish Tessa would just propose to and marry Mariah and tell her they can have their own baby. Maybe with Tessa’s egg and Noah’s sperm and Mariah could carry it again.

Sherrita, Tessa already tried to propose. Mariah shut her down. And this was after Mariah cheated on her. Mariah said she wasn’t ready. But then decided to have a baby for another woman, without really, truly discussing it with Tessa. Yet, Tessa is still there being her yes girl. I would have left.
Also, sadly, I don’t think this writing team will allow Mariah and Tessa to have a baby together. 🙁

SHAROD, here is something to consider: You are bent out of shape that Mariah & Tessa are not given a proper love story. Speaking of Noah, there has been talk of how when Tessa was dating him she would come to do him wrong, but that was another relationship that had absolutely no on camera play either! It’s hard to get into Tessa’s cheat of Noah as we hardly ever saw them together. Just heard about it. Too much business intrigue in GC to focus on mere fluffy romance.

Gary, actually we saw Noah and Tessa be more of a couple in the few months that they were together than we have for the three years that Mariah and Tessa have been together. Also, I don’t want fluffy romance. I want life affecting events. But if you are saying that business is going on so we don’t see that. Then tell me why we were always seeing Kyle and Summer, Billy and Lily, having their fun time. Then Nick and Phyllis, Nate and Elena, Devon and Amanda, even Victoria and Ashland the biggest business venture of them all, have… Read more »

Was thinking about the storyline curiosity of Jack having two quickie romantic tries with Sally Spectra with both over before they started. What gives? Does Y&R still deal in long term story projection and might the Sally passing in the night been but a set up for a new Jack & Phyllis romance so Jack could deliver the line, “I was trying to make Sally you”? The new Jack/Phyllis interplay makes sense and is nicely set up with lonely heart Phyllis wanting to make the connection to lonely heart Jack because she sees him as a kindred spirt in the… Read more »
