Adam Newman’s *wink wink* death, the short version:
Victor and Chloe conspire to forge Sage’s fake diary (and fudge an autopsy), which implicates Adam in the murder of Constance Bingham. To avoid a 30 year sentence, Adam pleads guilty to the charge, and is sentenced to ten years in prison. Feeling guilty for what he has done to his son, Victor breaks Adam out of jail, arranges to have Chelsea take Connor and meet Adam at a cabin in the woods, where they reunite and await a private jet to shuffle them out of the country. Unfortunately, Connor gets sick and is unable to fly, so Chelsea leaves the cabin (with new friend and ally, Nick) to get medical help for her son. She returns to the cabin just as it explodes with Adam presumably inside. Twist: Before Chelsea left Genoa City, Chloe planted a tracking devise inside of Connor’s favorite stuffed toy, so she would know exactly where Chelsea was meeting Adam. Seeking the ultimate revenge on the man who killed her daughter, Chloe sneaks into the cabin as soon as Chelsea leaves, catches Adam totally off guard, shoots him with a tranquilizer dart, blows up the cabin to hide the evidence, and totally gets away with it… until now?
