I voted nope, that’s it. Josh Griffith and the Y&R writers have disappointed me often this year. Choosing to have this storyline end in the most obvious way seemed so uncreative. Many chatterers have mentioned great alternatives. Such as Victoria seeking to rid of Adam forever and deciding to frame Billy out of fear or jealousy. Or Simon Black, possibly being released from prison, maybe to be a witness against Chelsea and Adam. He then would have slipped past his detail and try to shoot Adam. He left after the first shot because he needed to return before found out.… Read more »
Simon Black has been my prediction and wish from the beginning! I would love that to happen. He was such a compelling character and would be a great tie in.
That would have been a great storyline with Simon Black ,but I voted it’s over because the whole scenario was created to frame Billy and have Lily save him

I voted that the story is done. Do I want it to end like this? NOPE! This is not the ending that left me satisfied. I just don’t think the writers want to continue this story into the new year. Alyssa is a boring choice to me because she is a character that is too easy to use as the shooter and send away. She came back on screen for like two episodes then thats it. If they made the shooter Chelsea, Rey, Victoria, or Faith that would be way more interesting! And even when they made Alyssa the shooter… Read more »

I chose the second option .Part of me wanted the storyline to be over. But the other part leaves me unsatisfied.
They wrapped it sort of like sweeping it under the rug and “now everybody is happy way” ^^. And that’s why i smell there is something more to the story than just Alyssa conffesing and everobody moving on just like that . Very unsitisfied . But if it turns out this is the end then be it 🙂 And yeah then we can move on , to the next storyline 😉

I just don’t think that Alyssa came u with using Billy”s gun on her own.
Well, Rey has no insider knowledge of Victoria’s 50s house closet so he’s in the clear for a wedding & lengthy marriage with Sharon. I hope Faith didn’t produce the gun from the upper shelf. She is never invited to visit her aunt, so clear skies for her. Anybody else could have pulled the trigger and it’s only going to produce a big woof from me. Town of black hearts. It would be good if there was a twist and the culprit actually !S Billy after all. He’s off the show for possibly more than 5 years since he didn’t… Read more »

If we had to have an oddball character be the shooter/Billy framer, Ian Ward would have been fun. The problem there is that the whole scheme was too blah for him, Mr. Ward has way better dastardly style. He’s one of my favorite villains, Batty Patty would have been fun too.

I voted no. I think it’s over. The whole thing was to frame Billy. Done and fixed now. Move on!

I voted yes because I am hoping there is more to this story. If Alyssa is the shooter then there are more holes to this story than Swiss cheese: why didn’t Alyssa continue shooting if her target was Adam; why did she frame Billy if he was supporting her; how did she find out that Billy had a gun and had it stored in a safe at Victoria’s house; how did she crack the safe?
I feel like there is more to the story too. If there is not more to the story than y&r is insulting our intelligence with this ending. We know it is television but that doesn’t mean they can just feed us anything and expect us to swallow it. I still would like to see Simon Black tied in to this story since he is already connected to both Adam and Chance. It would be a good way to bring him back onto the scene for a couple of weeks. He definitely brought us lots of drama and excitement when he… Read more »

That is also my question .How did Alyssa get Billy’s gun to frame him? Unless she was working with Victoria to get rid of Adam
