I love a y and r wedding to see the cast but these two are a snooze fest. I have no interest
Yes- although ‘excited’ is a bit overblown for my reaction, lol. Even w/the inevitable ‘cheese,’ I generally enjoy any soap wedding for a.) fashion! and b.) inherent potential drama! (Let’s see… Stitch returns? A medical emergency revealing Dom’s paternity bombshell? Traci’s date Alan exposed as Martin?) Clearly, the Abby/Devon couple has little story at the minute, however imho, both actors are top-rate talents who nonetheless always pull me in. Ultimately, I’d rather watch incredible actors play ‘eh’ roles than watch ‘eh’ actors play major storylines. I’m a big fan of both Bryton J. and Melissa O., so count me in.… Read more »
I would love to see the return of Stitch! He would definitely make the wedding a lot more exciting.
Abby and Devon’s never ending lovey dovey picnic was boring and just filler. The only time they were interesting was when they had their first Bridgerton sex romp on the stairs.
Good description! Since I enjoy Abby I will take it. Bryton is good actor but he has a subdued manner that gets overshadowed sometimes. He has a tendency to look anywhere but at the other person. I will give him a pass and say he is so in love with Abby that his emotions are hard to control. The last time he was this in love his wife and unborn child died.
Not at all excited about Abby and Devon. Once Abby starts her new career at Winters, she’s going to find out what a pill Devon is. With his soft, gentle tones, he’ll firmly and immediately quash any initiatives she brings forward. Abby will keep trying, but Devon can’t help himself. I think the relationship is doomed to be a short one.
As to the subject of the wedding, Devon doesn’t deserve Abby anymore! He “always” wants to be completely in charge of everything; and won’t bend for anybody! (Even Abby) EX. She asked for a simple vacation, just a few days to go out of town. Devon won’t hear of it! So, who wants to commit to such a domineering bore!! As to the subject of the engagement ring; I remember two famous people giving their valid opinions about that as follows—-“Diamonds are a girl’s best friend”! The one famous person was Marilyn; and the other was “Ali”!!
I am looking forward to it! I really enjoy Abby. I like Devon sometimes and he and Abby seem to fit together (at least for now). I found it interesting that Devon’s grand gesture of proposal was so much about Dom. Devon and Dom apparently planned the menu and shopped for engagement rings. Maybe that’s why their relationship is a little boring. It’s centered now around everything related to Dom. I’m okay with them being the boring and stable couple. I am always excited about soap weddings. I love the flowers, the decorations, and seeing everyone dressed to the nines. This one might include a little cutie ring bearer or Little Best
Man Dominic. I must confess that as a couple, these two are lacking romantic chemistry; however, they do work well at supporting each other unconditionally.
I voted no, not really. I have nothing against Abby and Devon but they are not a couple I get excited about. I wonder the reason why but I think besides them cheating with each other, once they got together their relationship hasn’t it been anywhere near the centre or focus of the show and has not faced any major challenges for them to over come.
