I’d like to see Claire with someone edgier – bring back Theo or someone from her past.
Cute enough – why not?? Kyle has been so intense that I enjoy his softening some around her. Sigh, I do
think Claire’s character is in a ‘lose-lose’ role to some viewers: ‘goody’ is grating to some… not ‘goody’ enough would have some bashing her being ‘up to her old ways’… but ‘up to her old ways’ would stir up mucho bashing as well, lol! And… any middle ground (in any character) generally just leaves some viewers ‘bored.’ Claire, you do you! I like you a lot.
I voted Puke! Claire needs more depth as a character. Kyle is just too much of a dog to be a good boyfriend for Claire as she’s currently written.
I voted ‘puke’ purely because of Kyle’s romantic history, and that he hurt sweet Lola. When he hurts Claire I look forward to that triggering the insanity in her DNA.
I voted cute. I just love Kyle with the nice girl. I really loved Kyle and Lola, and Claire and Kyle are giving me those same vibes. Sometimes I just like a sugary sweet Hallmark movie romance. But Kyle is the one that gives some edge in the romance with the conflict with his parents and now Victor wanting Kyle to fire Claire.
I voted “cute”. I just simply love Claire. She can do no wrong in my opinion. My hope is that should she and Kyle eventually become an “item” that Kyle will not treat her badly. However, I also am a cheerleader for Tara Locke to return and if that should happen, Kyle’s world would be turned upside down and then where would that leave my beloved Claire?
I voted puke but not because Claire is a goody two shoe. I think I am one of the only chatters that likes seeing Claire being completely opposite of what her character first was. I found her so creepy before and am rather happy to see this side of her. Having said that, I voted puke because I still haven’t changed my mind about liking her character on the show. As Ali mentioned, I hope that should Tara return I hope there is not a recast, a new Tara. I would love to see the original actress return in that role.
Agreed. I’m not really all that interested in Tara if she returns having been re-cast. The character wasn’t around long enough for me to much care if she returns being played by another actress, but the original actress WAS around long enough for me to quite enjoy her portrayal and be interested to see more. I thought she was great.

I think they are cute at the moment but can become not cute pretty quick. Claire needs more substance, can’t always portray her as someone not in the know in the ways of the world. Kyle needs to guard against being smarmy
