I would like to see an emotional funeral for Sage this week. Us fans need a moment to let go of this character. I’m wondering if the writers at Y&R had a thought that Sage’s death would cause such upheaval. I suppose, we will find out eventually, the reasons behind KS leaving the show. Some random thoughts…it’s all gonna come out, the truth about Sully/Christain and Sharon is gonna be up a creek without a paddle. Bye bye Dylan…Adam and Chelsea will get Christain in the end. I’m happy Sage is gone. And judging from the #SageIsDeadParty trending on Twitter on Friday, I am not the only one. 😉
I just did not care about that character. She wasn’t likeable, yet she wasn’t dark enough to be a good villain. She was just… MEH.

Absolutely NOT I think it was a huge mistake killing off sage I will admit in the beginning I thought she was sorta Bipolar in her personality but I really do like her and miss her I think that she should have been in a coma first and then revealed that Christian was alive but NO just killed her off they should kill off an actor or actress that’s not there that much like Chloe and therefore that would leave a who’s child is this which we know it’s a girl or let both Abby and Sage have happy ending… Read more »

I always thought Kelly Sullivan was a good actress but Sage left me cold for a long time. It was only when they had her calling out Dr. Anderson that she started to grow on me. I also liked her scenes with Sharon (Sharon Case) However, if Y&R had to cut a character I would rather it be Sage over Nick, Adam, Chelsea, Sharon or Dylan. I also think Sage being dead will make it a custody struggle between both Chelsea & Adam and Nick and Dylan & Sharon. I could see Sharon not knowing about Adam being the father… Read more »

I had to make another comment. I would hope and pray Adam and Chelsea do not raise Christian if that’s where the story will head in the future. As much as Sage and Adam grew closer recently, in my heart of hearts I believe Sage would want Nick to raise him. Sage felt safe and secure with Nick. Is it safe to say I am still in utter shock!?

Hi Ali. Thanks for spending the time of your show talking about Sage. I liked her from day one. I am not sure where they are going with this but like you I will try to be patient. I thought she had great potential as becoming a major character that could be on for years. It was such a let down that she didn’t get a proper reunion with Christian and sharing her joy with Nick. I felt her story was just beginning not ending. I hope they wrap this up.

I can’t believe Y&R turned Sage’s death into a CBS cares ad, and no I don’t think Y&R made the right move they took Cassie away from Nick from a car accident and now his wife. However I am happy for one that Sharon didn’t cause her death, and Ali why the heck was Sage’s last call to Adam? I for one don’t think Adam and Chelsea should raise the baby as theirs because at the end it’s Sage’s baby. I hope Adam tells Christian about his real mother and keeps Sage’s memory alive in him. 🙂
I actually am hoping that Nick gets to raise him. I know Adam is the father but since Sage died I wish Nick could be the dad. I can’t see Nick going through the loss of his wife and then his son. I am not sure how this will play out but Nick needs some happiness.
I completely agree! With this story line continuing and the reveal to everyone else that Sully is actually Christian, then next would be revealing that Adam is the father. I cannot imagine how it would be for Nick to first think he lost his son, then his wife; to eventually get Christian back to only be taken away again with Adam being the real father. That is a lot for one man to take!

I think we all know the answer to that. At the end of Thursday’s show when Sage’s car crashed (why did she crash? Just from trying to pick up her cell phone?) it absolutely never entered my head that she would die. I just thought AMNESIA! That tired old boring cliche’ just to give the writers more time while bringing that always unwanted death to all the action. Death is right! Absolutely horrific. Well said Gary loved this. For me personally, killing this character added a hole into this story. I honestly do not know where this story is leading to, but I’m focused on two individuals regarding this story, and that would be Nick and Adam. Sage was a character who was being built to be another leading lady for this show and I felt that she had that trait. It saddens me to know that’s the way her character went out. CONNOR – Where do you think the Adam link is without Sage along for the ride? Seems like all we have is Nick having to turn the baby over to Adam. That’s good, but worth the loss of Sage? I don’t know where this is going either… What about the surprise of Sharon telling Nick the truth, thus saving herself from further character assassination (fans have long memories & already refuse to forgive) while bringing a new dimension to their love story? While I can imagine story arguments as to while this was necessary, something far more crazy that makes zero sense to me was the killing off of Dr. Anderson. A character absolutely not ready to die!
Hey thanks Gary! To answer question about Adam, the link is definitely dead. I believe Dylan will be the character to watch out for in all of this. He’s the wild card. He’ll end up finding the DNA test because Sharon is very forgetful LOL. Yes I was a Sage fan, and yes she has the potential to be the next leading lady of Y&R, and I totally agree about the storylines that could have been built for her. She had the potential to go toe to toe with Sharon for years! Sadly, we’ll never know!
YES! I think Dave’s mom is back to pay her respects to Sage, staying just long enough to try and steal Nick in the process!
