I didn’t approve of their hasty decisions and would have counseled both of them to take their time before leaving a job they loved for a risky business adventure with a romantic partner. My soap or real life advice would be followed up with support for the choice they made.
ALI, you know very well nobody does. Both characters of Chelsa & Sally arrived at Y&R as driven career women with a passion for fashion. Today it is not heard of or popular for any woman to roll over for her man. Especially not those two! You have to be kidding me. If Y&R thinks they are ultimately telling a different story, forget it. The writers are going to catch hell! Billy is a horror and the loving, respectful well meaning Adam is selfish. I think the original Adam & Sally partnership (did they work together?) worked as those two fell into it – but now?
I voted No. Chelsea and Sally now have to advise Billy and Adam at home AND at work. How exhausting for them to be camp counselors to these guys! Go find a boyfriend that doesn’t need constant guidance on making better choices.
As career moves, they are pure folly but redemption may be at hand.
With Summer’s upcoming disappearance and possible funeral, perhaps Jack can bring the two together to carry on Summer’s legacy at Marchetti.
I voted YES. The question put to us is, “Do you support Sally and Chelsea’s career move?” Singular. Move. I think that is the direction the story is going. Sally and Chelsea quit Marcetti at the same time, and after reflection, neither is 100% convinced it was their best choice. So I expect them to get together to form something, making it one move forward in business.
I voted no. I think Chelsea and Sally both had their dream jobs and they always have come back to fashion after other ventures, Chelsea podcasting with Billy and Sally trying interior design. They always say fashion and designing is in their blood and their true passion. Also, I don’t think it’s smart to go into business with their boyfriends when the relationship for both of them is still new. Also I think it’s healthy for them to have their own passion and career and something that is just theirs that is separate from Billy and Adam.
I voted no. Sally and Chelsea both love fashion. It took a lot to get to work for Marchetti. They shouldn’t give it up to work with Billy and Adam. Chelsea is already having a problem with how Adam runs Newman Media. How he does everything Victor wants, he does his dirty work. Billy will be no different ,will do anything to get back at Victor
