Hey Y&R Chat friends! Here’s my thing:
I’m sure you all know I love Phyllis, but I have to be completely honest, if the writers decide to go in this direction with Billy and Phyllis becoming more than in-laws, I will be turned all the way off. It just doesn’t seem right to me. I believe Phyllis looks at Billy as a wounded bird, and wants to mend him by helping him get one over Victor. BUT: maybe what brings them closer is their hatred for Victor. Who knows!? What does anyone else think?

Hi, Ali & Friends…
I don’t think they’ll have a romantic connection but I hope they do because when I look at Gina and Jason, I still have to process trying to remember that they’re Phyllis & Billy. I still can’t wrap my head around the new actor/characters. If they become a romantic couple then maybe I can just see them as brand new characters all together.

i’m leaning towards, no. but i will say that their alliance will cause problems for both of their relationships. something similar to nikki and neil’s friends (where they might as well have had the affair).

I think it is obvious they will go in that direction. That said I don’t understand why and I think in the end that PLOT POINT hook up will do more damage to the characters then create an interesting storyline. Billy has never done this to Victoria. Kelly was a pathetic ONS that he immediately regretted and that was all about feeling lost over Delia. Phyllis and Billy have everything they want. You mean to tell me they will fall into bed because of VICTOR? Okay.

I feel like Y&R is going that way but I really hope not, Billy and Jack don’t need another challenge as brothers…….

No. I feel like Phyllis is doing this for Jack. Her efforts to bring Victor down would really make Jack happy I’m sure and at the same time make Jack happy to see Billy back on track with his life. Of course she also wants to bring Victor down for introducing Marco into her life in such a horrible way (into her bed). I feel like she genuinely loves Jack and just wants to see Billy happy with Victoria and of course the kids…..
