Maybe not, if they had built up to Michael’s weird acknowledgement of Victor. They have always been peers. Victor was not a “father figure” to Michael when he was younger. They were just two GC residents. Then Michael was his attorney, with no personal interaction. Then Michael was his Godfather “fixer” with no reason for it. They have been peers or employer/staff. Unrealistic storyline. Where is Ricky?
Yes! Michael needs to realize that loyalty to Victor will never be reciprocated. As the saying goes… Love only gives hope if it is returned. A love not returned works like poison. The same can be said about blind loyalty.
Yes, Michael is a blend of characteristics good and not so good. Victor taps in on Michael’s less than noble traits. He’s much like Victor except Michael does a better job of keeping things compartmentalized.
Nah, it’s long become part of who he is. He just can’t help it. For whatever reasons anyone will judge, Michael’s made choices he thought/thinks are right for him. Even if they’re not, lol. Too loyal?Michael thinks not.
Yes. Sure he’ll humour Nikki and his conscience for a brief moment, but one original coin for Michael and he’s already turned on Jack—the very man who, through good times and bad, always gave Michael the time of day and even the job that rebuilt his reputation.

Michael has a long and complicated past, and ‘upstanding’ could not always describe his behaviors. While at times I do, I don’t automatically see him on a moral high-horse over Victor. Michael’s NTPA mode seems to appear/disappear at whim during ‘questionable’ activity…
