I’m disappointed to see Kevin go.
I predict the writers will have him secretly find Chloe wherever she is hiding and leave without telling anyone to reunite with her and be a proper family with Bella. People who love each other deserve to be together against all odds: go be with your love, Kevin!

More good talent just walking away from Y&R.
It isn’t going to be the Soap we all enjoy. And I agree, it’s all about salary.

I am thinking they maybe made Kevin the father because they knew they wanted him off the show. Both Billy and Kevin were part of a paternity story line for two episodes before the results were given; a story to quickly tie up. If Chloe is out of the picture then I think Kevin will track down where Chloe is residing and him and Bella will live with or closer to Chloe. This could be the way to possibly not have another child on the show at this time. I believe we saw few years ago Chloe come into town… Read more »

I’m hurt by this. Kevin had his flaws and at times he wasn’t my favorite person but I really liked Kevin. Really wanted to see him more and fall in love with a guy, that would be awesome.

Seriously now why are they going to reveal that Kevin is the father and then not renew his contract so crazy but to be honest Kevin doesn’t really have a Storyline besides Bella what I think should be done is for Kevin and Bella to go away and then come back when Bella is 16 and a different Kevin or a Kevin in a coma and then he looks different if Phyllis can do it and Billy why not Kevin and let Bella come back and tell her Grandma what happen and therefore that will give those 3 a storyline… Read more »
It IS bizarre that Y&R would put Kevin front and center of a paternity switch storyline… and then turn around and write him off the show. I’m just stunned on this one!

I hope he turns up on GH or B&B, and I hope he gets to be openly gay. I’d love to see him in a storyline where he has a family with his partner.

Harding, Courtney, Dylan now gone. With Kevin leaving who is Paul going to give orders to?
If Gloria, Lauren and Michael remain on the show, I think we could see him back in the near future for a guest appearance or maybe a longer visit. I am wondering if Kevin gets a new job and decides to relocate with his daughter. Maybe he gets a business opportunity with Daniel who I wish would make another visit. Lucy could babysit Bella. Since Kevin is more popular than many writers/producers realize, maybe they will rethink their decision to let him go and bring him back sooner. This has happened before with characters like Victor several years ago. A… Read more »
Yes! It’s a little weird that they would bring back Gloria, focus on her being a supportive mother, and then write her son off the show, right when he would need her the most. I keep wondering if this was a CBS financial decision. We’re getting a lot of new/returning characters, and those salaries have to come from somewhere. In a way, I almost wonder if Ravi is replacing Kevin in pay day and in tone.
