Eh on Imani. She is beautiful, and the actress can hold her own, however at this point, the character is just an annoyance in the ever-confusing Amanda’s background story. I could be open to more Imani if she gets woven into more storylines.
I think she and Nate will become involved romantically so therein lies the storyline.
She gives me some of the fiercely selfish vibes that once were Hilary. Her personality is more in line with a Hilary one I like seeing the contrast with Amanda.
Keep in mind I’m a bit behind. Having said that, the only thing I like about Imani so far is her name. I LOVE the name. Most of the time the names on Y&R are whiter than white. I do like having another person of colour on the show as well. I’ve just seen the episode where Imani said she wants to get to know Amanda & sort of appologizes. I’m not buying it…yet.
The character Imani has the potential to add to the Genoa City canvas. She hasn’t been on the screen enough to know exactly what type of character she will be. I’m hoping she’ll fill in Amanda on family dynamics and create friction between Amanda and her grandfather. One thing I will say Y&R has been “spot on” with Imani‘s wardrobe. She looks gorgeous every time I see her. I love watching the bouquet of colors inner wardrobe.
I voted yes! I’m intrigued. What does Imani know about her family? When all is said and done, will she be an ally or enemy to Amanda. Plus her fashion and hair game is on point!
I voted no. I have nothing against the actress…there is just something about the character I don’t trust.
I voted “yes” . Because there is something about her or the actress and the portrayal of the Imani character . And even if she keeps some sort of secret which may crucial in that storyline I still like her. She may be having some information of Sutton and his involvement of the crime which noone else knows about .
I think I might be more interested in Amani if the temp actress doing Amanda had been cast as the duplicitous half sister. This actress is very striking but she seems a little super model-ish which gets in my way a bit. Very cold but then she’s supposed to be. We will have to see how she evolves and re-visit this.
Seems so often our minds work overboard to figure these characters out (like the Locke’s true motives) when in the end they end up just being who they say they are.
NO. She’s very attractive but adds nothing to the current storyline.
Thumbs way up! She is intriguing. She has some secrets. SHE LOOKS GREAT in yellow! C’mon y and r……… keep up the good work! Keep her interesting. Keep her and her mother and grandpa on my tv. Make things happen with these characters. SHOW!….DON’T TELL.
