I voted no by mistake. I can’t help but feel like there is going to be a twist and Ashland really is being framed. I know the show doesn’t always do twists often but I feel like Ashland really is being truthful with Victoria. What doesn’t go with this theory is why Ashland would want to kidnap Michael if he is innocent? I am hoping there is some kind of twist there also.

I don’t think Ashland is being framed. His past behavior points to him being duplicitous. It also points to the fact he, like Victor, carefully plans many moves ahead. I know an argument is being made that Victoria should’ve seen this coming, but a part of his plan was to be very sincere. However, this incarnate of Ashland, is quite standoffish with Victoria. Rarely does he kiss her. He just proclaimed his love in the same manner and ask for total trust. If he was truly innocent, it would be easy for him to prove that to her.

How dare they try to pin Ashland’s schemes on Adam! Get outta here! Hopefully this is just Victoria’s way of gaslighting Ashland into believing she still loves and supports him. Adam is a logical fake enemy.

Ugh, I’m kinda w/Gary – I just don’t know. I voted “yes” because that’s how I want to see it play out – w/either Victor behind it, or if he’s not, then at least see him taken down a sanctimonious peg and Victoria able to save some face. But there’ll be an awful lot of story ‘splainin’ to come if someone has actually set Ashland up: Who? Victor… Jesse G… Tara… Adam…?

I don’t think Ashland is being framed. Why would he have Michael arrested. The only thing that still bothers me is that he was sick a few times when he was alone and no one there to see it.
