I really needed a maybe choice for this vote. At first, I was convinced that he was a goner. Now, I think he might survive. I’m undecided but, hopeful that he can be a reoccurring part because he bravely stands up to Victor and still manages to keeps the peace. Maybe he can co author a book with Traci.

No. I think he’ll have a miraculous recovery/cure once his illness is connected to a bigger story – i.e. being poisoned (as suggested by another Chatter), or needing some procedure that reveals Claire is not his daughter, or something else the writers may conjure. And I’m hoping he’s not a dead man so he will stick around – very much alive!

I voted yes, Cole is on the way out. I feel if it was just a plot choice to keep Claire in Genoa City it would be way easier for Y&R to come up with some Chancellor conference or work thing for Claire to take care of as Nikki will be in Paris at Dumas party.

Cole may have pneumonia, people do die from pneumonia. Or he could have a mystery illness, but he will die because Amy is going to live, so Cole will die instead

I was hoping for more of a reveal in the Cole story, like where has he been all these years? More family? Observing GC residents? Could HE be Dumas?
