This storyline could go either way, but I think that even Ashley knows deep down he wasn’t violent, because if she had that visceral fear of him, she wouldn’t encourage a relationship with Dom.
Curious if anyone has read the book or watched the series Fleishman is in Trouble? The whole thing is about how a married couple can have 2 totally different perspectives of what happens, and 2 totally different narratives. For a while now, I’ve been wondering if this storyline was inspired by it.

Voting no… at least not to deliberate gas-lighting. I’m thinking Ashley’s version of events is correct? but Tucker has such a deluded self-image that he really believes himself to have had the irritated, but calm and reasonable reaction he’s recounted… so basically, he’s a bully/abuser (to what degree, Idk?) who just doesn’t perceive himself that way. (DISCLAIMER: I am not caught up, so my thinking may all well be hogwash by now, lol!)

I want to see Tucker save Ashley from this delusion. I believe he loves her truly. He will to go Paris again, relive the dinner scene, then bring her back to GC, and they will live in their own place maybe?, and just be an old couple for a while. They can do it!
