I thought the Jordan-death episode was great! (But I don’t believe she’s dead, lol.) Eric B. in particular was spot-on ‘King Victor’ w/every line/expression he delivered. He and Collen Z. have played beautifully off one another since Day 1. Master class acting!
She let Victor know she was available and would show him a thing or two about a good time – all of it conveyed with just some smoldering looks between insults. Colleen Zenk is fantastic!

I had no idea how to vote, but in reguard to the storyline where i missed all 3 concluding episodes due to the Los Angeles fires I would just say that we already did see Aunt Jordan poison herself in a previous visit, so maybe something more imaginative? Or not. I don’t think this portends more ‘evil’ from Claire. In her heightened soap opera state she decided to do what she thought she had no other option but to do. It is what it is. I think Nikki & Victoria had a looser screw in allowing all this to go… Read more »
“YOU’LL MISS ME, CLAIRE”: Although i’d guess Y&R has no current plans to put Aunt Jordan back on their storyboard, if Naomi doesn’t see her laid out on the morgue slab (or even if she does) this cartoon (with concluding pathos) is most assuredly not dead and available to be taken out of mouth balls at some far off future date where the stars align for another Y&R psycho go-round.
Oh, I have something else to observe. As I say, i missed the episodes but I read that Claire’s ‘poison’ was sleeping pills. Sleeping pills? (!) Sleeping pills are no quick death. You would have to wait forever for someone to maybe, possibly die from sleeping pills. Sleeping pills? What’s up with that? But a great way to go. If only death takes. Aunt Jordan would have to be alone with herself for SP to take their time to work. Definiately, Newman security taking Aunt to the morge is going to be in a position to revive her. And I… Read more »
Idk about actual sleeping pills… but as all things on soaps are highly exagerrated, well, I’ll go w/it. (And re: your earlier mention… I am hoping all is well w/you in regard to any effects from the L.A. fires.)
Gary, I forget to check over on this page for comments (and almost missed your gems here). Iam sorry you are affected by the fires. I can’t imagine how you feel. Thank you for your time writing these perfectly entertaining comments. I wish I had a way to look up previous comments referencing Aunt Jordan’s inmate number! I’m convinced you keep the same number each time just to make things more fun! Your recall is amazing for chat opinions, comments, details on the show. Thanks Gary and I’ll keep you and your loved ones in my prayers.
Thanks, Naomi. I survived the fires, but they did cut the power in the mountains which is maddening but for the greater good. i just made up the Jordan booking number & would not be able to duplicate it.

I think she got what was inevitable, but it was too dark, them watching her die on the couch. I think it would have been more palatable if Jordan had lost her mind, tried to attack someone, and then she was killed. Planning it out, gathering around, and having popcorn while she fades away just really made our characters seem like maniacal sociopaths. I think/hope Jordan is haunting them in future episodes. I like the character and for her to be a ghost would be fun.
CBS, the writers & sensors must have thought long & hard about allowing the Newmans to nomchalantly(?) stand around and watch Jordan die, ultimately deciding it was the best of several evils?
Oh they were nonchalant, (except Claire). Victor and the rest looked impatient, uncomfortable. Claire grasped her Aunties shaky outreached hand and shed tears quietly. I felt moved for both women trapped in their twisted love/hate relationship.
I do like that hand business. Profound & moving. Claire needed to do it. It is hard to die & leave this world. God speed, if you’re really dead, AJH. Now you are reunited with your dear, estranged sister Eve. “Two blackhearts beating as one”

Jordan got what she deserved; Ian is next. About time Sharon is saved next Tessa and Aria

Ok, I can agree that even a soap prison could have had a WEE more security around Auntie J…

Can someone tell me if Aunt Jordan died with her wig on?
She should have that proper ending, died with her boots and wig on.
