She is a great fill-in- realy nailing the character and her actions in each storyline. She kicked in some Hilary-vibe feistiness this week when meeting with Michael! We KNOW Mishael Morgan can bring the feisty – as that defined Hilary- and Amanda’s got it too, albeit sometimes beneath her more reserved demeanor. Karla M. Is hitting ALL the right notes. I wish I had seen her on B+B, but only recently started watching it.
I voted thumbs up, she’s a decent temp recast. I do prefer Mishael Morgan and I do hope she will be back before we get to the meat and potatoes of this storyline. But, Karla is doing a good job filling Mishael’s shoes.
I think she’s doing a great job. When she first came on my screen, It wasn’t such a shock because she fit in very well. She has a different chemistry and Mishael Morgan. She appears smoother and more calculating. Not that Mishael is not. Michael’s vibe, to me, is more inquiring and playful.
I voted thumbs down. I loved Karla on Bold but I am having a hard time thinking of her as Amanda. If Amanda was not Hillary’s twin then it may be easier. They even made mention of this again when Jack and Devon were talking. MM is Hillary and Amanda to me and this role should only be played by her.
I liked Karla Mosely as Amanda. Could be because I liked her on B&B too. She played a transgender character which at the time was brave of her. Today they would try to hire a transgender actress like on GH. I think she did a good job,
Thumbs WAY up for this actress. I finally am able to BELIEVE this character. Amanda Sinclair presents a strong woman with a life of her own on her own. In reality, she longs for a family…people to love and to love her……it’s so close she can taste it. This new actress brings it all ! I can see it in her face. MM seems more antiseptic, New actress is the real thing. She emotes. honestly. I love her.
She knew this would be a tough role to fill! I didn’t realize until I saw her how much I’ve missed seeing her beautiful face! I love her smile!
I voted thumbs up just because I was happy to see Karla Mosley. Right when I saw her I thought “Y&R really needs to find a role for her.”
Thumbs down, seemed generic to me, and Mishael is name brand. The only recast I can think of is to go back in time and bring back Victoria Rowell to play her.
I voted thumbs down. The stand in is doing a great job, but I love Michelle Morgan. If we were forced to have a new Amanda, Karla Mosley would be my choice.
I like what the actress brings. She’s not Amanda though. She played bad on Bold and the Beautiful. I would like to see her play Imani.
